I am writing to you from Belgrade, Serbia in regards to the packet loss I experience in tracerts from my ISP - VeratNet to any server further in Europe.
In tracerts from my computer to for example
www.google.com (or any other web-site/server) I always experience packet loss on Hop no.6-8 which are respectfully:
1. g1.22-szeged-p0.vivendi-th.net [213.163.53.105]
2. 213-163-21-89.pool.invitel.hu [213.163.21.89]
3. pcg1-bors-br0.vivendi-th.net [213.163.52.154]
Packet loss in showing in any time of day or night and mostly on first server (hop no.6). Recently my provider changed routing/link from your company to Telekom Serbia for only couple of hours and than I had no loss at all.
In the attachment you can find pictures* from today's tracert which is normal for me, so it represents my problem in full.
I really doubt that this kind of behavior is normal for any equipment and therefore I kindly ask you to try to see if you can fix this packet loss.

In our Routers has the ICMP Packets low priority. This is the reason for the time out in the ping logs. Please test the line again with the MYTRACEROUTE program!

Thank you very much for your reply. Upon your suggestion I tried WinMTR (Windows version of MyTraceRoute program). Here is the screenshot* of trace route to
www.yahoo.com. As you can see I still get losses.

The problem is, that the ICMP packets used for testing; are having a lower priority in our system, that the TCP (maybe UDP)packets, which are containing real datas.
So that is calculated.

Crveno je naravno izgubljen paket...
Ovako je vec par meseci, online gaming je dosta los, VOIP isto.
Do kraja aprila sam kod njih onda verovatno menjam ISP.
EDIT:
Zaboravih da kazem da su pre jedno 2 nedelje verovatno nesto podesavali, tako da sam jedno 2-3 dana bukvalno imao 0 packet loss, i to na preko 5000 pingova. Tad je radio i VOIP i gaming perfektno. Isto se desavalo pre jedno 2-3 meseca kad su isto na kratko promenili routing da ide preko Telekoma. Na moje pitanje sto su vratili posle par dana routing preko Invitela, odgovor tehničke podrške Verata je bio: zato što tako radi bolje!!
