Moguće, probao neko OnlyOffice ?
Nije MBR hard, taze formatiran SSD. Loše si me razumeo, nekad sam imao MBR, kad sam experimentisao.
Anyway, instalirao sam Manjaro i imao gomilu zezancija.
- one interface toolkit (don't care which, if qt, gtk)
- scriptability of interface components (want to change things in the interface on the fly)
- everything in the network stack should be configurable by one utility (like openbsd's ifconfig)
- DSL for firewalls like openbsd's pf
- auto-versioned filesystems
- sane caching defaults for systems over 8 Gb of RAM
- a single partition tool that can do everything that fdisk / gparted / raid tools do
- a single utility to change security properties of anything in the system
- ability to disconnect graphical apps using a multiplexer like tmux/screen (vnc is good but not the ideal; I wanted to have a per application feature)
- nix-like packaging systems
- the ability to migrate one process to another host
- process accounting with different outputs (database, files, external log server)
- resource usage limitation (cpu, memory, disk, user, etc; this already exists, but would be nice to have a renice-like tool for that)
- a file copy framework that could be used for downloads, rsync-like transfers, change of priority or job control, etc that could be maneuvered by command line and interface
- a truly unified notification system, with introspection and logging of events like logging in, starting certain processes, disk events, etc.
- a builtin (but initially disabled) smtp and imap mail system as easy to use as opensmtp
- a builtin (but initially disabled) centralized directory system (like AD)
- no ramdisks -- partitioning with everything that's needed in one large enough partition, and then booting up another with encrypted data
- the ability to log in using proximity with cellphones
- an easy-to-use backup and restore tool; I want to plug in two different disks and, if there's space, an image of one could be done in the other with maximum two clicks
- unified and distributed (between computers) clipboard
- unified and distributed bookmark management across apps
- a bootloader that does not require configuration -- just presents a menu of what was probed
- reversable kernel updates (this is closely related with the bootloader)
- the possibility of booting a computer in usb mode (i.e., to serve as a usb hub to another computer, using a usb cable, like macs used to do)
- a failproof (REAL failproof, like, you can invoke it using a key combination) display server that can be invoked it configuration fails, or with a boot manager menu option
- complete possibility of using graphics in non-kernel mode -- if there's an equivalent of a VESA mode, be it -- for compatibility and reliability reasons. again, related with bootloader
- transparent compression in filesystems
- transparent encryption of directories in filesystems (this is related with the security tool)
- configs should go in /home/user/.config. If necessary patch programs as much as possible for this to happen
- unified documentation and unified documentation format. If necessary to pull from a wiki and update every hour, so be it
- ability to easily migrate the configuration of one machine to another
- tens of other things like this.
And the most important:
-fix most existing bugs before even starting this wishlist.
Kada pokušam da editujem za stalno preko /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf neće i izbacuje No such file or directory.
Note: From version 207 and 21x, systemd only applies settings from /etc/sysctl.d/*.conf and /usr/lib/sysctl.d/*.conf. If you had customized /etc/sysctl.conf, you need to rename it as /etc/sysctl.d/99-sysctl.conf. If you had e.g. /etc/sysctl.d/foo, you need to rename it to /etc/sysctl.d/foo.conf.
