Šta je novo?

Gothic 3?

A sto je najveca fora, vec uveliko je u planu G4, ali Pluto13 i Piranha Bytes nece da imaju nista sa JoWood-om (izdavacem)! Na sta ce sve to da lici... ko zna!

Inace ja pokusavam da kontaktiram neke ljude da vidim da li se uopste radi na g3 patch-u ili su digli ruke!

Ako radi isti razvojni tim i ako poučeni dosadašnjim iskustvom obrate puno više pažnje na pravo finaliziranje igre i ubijanje bugova onda ne bi trebalo biti loše.

Ako ih opet ne stisnu da izbace igru 6 meseci pre nego je zavrse onda ce da lici na nesto, mada cisto sumnjam posto sada sve igre koje se pojave dolaze sa n(n+1)! bagova bas zbog tog postovanja rokova kako bi se sto vise love zaradilo. Jos kad bi majmuni ukapirali da ce vise para da zarade sa kompletiranom igrom al *** :p

Pošto je najavljena 4 onda bi bilo bolje da naprave jos jedan kraj i manje ubagovanu igru
 
Mali izliv emocija : Koliko god bio bug-ovit Vampire,G3 mu nikada nec'e ni prismrdeti,pa taman da ga patch-uju svi programeri sveta :) :) :)

A inace, *****i se ne javljaju. Cimao sam PR tim, ali nista, niko ne odgovara! :(
 
Za Gothic3 bi valjalo napraviti top listu najinteresantnijih bagova.

Moja neka top lista bi izgledala ovako:

1. takozvani "wtf bug": glavni lik trči preko potoka i usred vode prosto nestane - dalje se vidi samo mač i štit na leđima kako lebde
2. "najsmarantniji bug": ghosting NPC-ova. NPC-ovi ladno trče kroz zidove, kamenje... Oni naizgled najlakši questovi "follow NPC" su postali istovremeno i najveći nightmare. Pratiš lika, a on uđe u planinu i onda te tamo čeka da ga ti stignes. Otkucaš u konzoli "goto Pera Perić" i gothic te baci u neku podvodnu dimenziju, pa sad trčimo tu malo u zoni sumraka dok se lik ne smiluje da izađe na livadu.
3. nestajanje stvari iz inventorija: treba sakupiti n nečega. Sakupiš n-1 i kada pokupiš n-ti, svi zajedno nestanu.
4. misteriozno nepostojanje NPC-ova ili celih questova. Već na početku mi je npr. fali Ortega i celo društvo iz pećine kod reddocka. Ušetaš bez problema i ostaviš Ortegi grafite poput "Sloteru Niče Žarkovo ti kliče" ili "Tu sam pišo".
5. ova stavka najverovatnije nije bug u samom softveru, nego u algoritmu, ali umela je muški da raznjupa. N puta mi se desilo da lik u sred borbe (okružen orcima, vukovima i drugim licimurima) prosto vrati mač u korice i saginje se da ubere neki cvetić ili otvori kovčeg.
U ovu tačku spada i ono automatsko navođenje oštrice - mlatiš trolla sa nekim kolegom, kad tvoj lik umesto trolla počinje da leši ovog jadnog kolegu, "jer mu se našao bliže". Ili usred krljanja sa tonom skeletona u nekom ancestral tombu, sa poslednjim milimetrom energije majstor se okreće od sekeletona da bi odvalio meatbuga i tu popije finalni zviz. Tu je već trebalo držati krpu pored monitora.

Ja još, izgleda na sreću :), nisam igrao Gothic 3, zbog hardvera. Nadam se da će ga zakrpati dok promjenim kompjuter, jer sam čitao od mnogih da je atmosfera dosta dobra, kad se zanemare bugovi i zahtjevnost.

Dear Community !

Seems like there is no day without a new bugfix package.

This patch solves not less than 48 bugs !

Furthermore it can be called a patch since the bugfixers were able to coordinate the P01-files and no fix should get corrupted by another.

There is a fully working install routine with this patch, which will get installed automatically to your Gothic-directory.

The language is still only German, but most of these fixes perfectly work with another language version of the game as well.

Another great job so far !

Attention! Your ge3.ini file will be replaced by the german one. Before you install the patch please save your ge3.ini. It was a fault of one the new fix-team. I must to say sorry.

Who has already installed the patch should be done this:

You must change in your INI in the follow lines the word "German" in to "English".

"Die Jäger von Faring" zusätzlich die Möglichkeit zu sagen: "Ich bringe den Ahnenstein nach
Nordmar." Wählte man diesen Satz zuerst, bekam man den Ahnenstein - aber die andere
Gesprächsoption blieb bestehen. Da man in jedem der Dialoge Ejnars Ahnenstein von Tom
bekommt, hatte man diesen Gegenstand anschließen doppelt im Gepäck.

Ako ti,kao fan,ne vidis' koliko je G3 los'iji od G2,ne znam s'ta da ti kaz'em...nazadovali su neverovatno i krivo mi je jer sam G2 obrnuo 4 puta...da su sa potpuno istom grafikom i engin-om nastavili Gothic opet bi bila bolja igra nego sad..ovakva kakva je - retardirana je skroz - po mom ukusu (bez uvrede)

Slazem se sa ovim skroz :)
Gothicov najveci kvalitet ionako nikad nije bila grafika, vec dobro osmisljen i "ziv" svet, zanimljivi kvestovi i slicno. U Gothic 3 su sve karte bacili na grafiku i zanemarili ono sto je bitno. Po meni, G3 nije ni do koljena Gothicu 2 i Gothicu 1.
Zamisli samo situaciju kada dolazis kod Xardasa da mu se nayebes keve i propitas ga par sitnica, i ono ni pet ni sest (vec sedam :p ) lik ti daje quest kao da se nista nije desilo :d

Ma znam ja sve to...
Niko nije dovodio u pitanje opadanje kvaliteta...
Sta ja da kazem, obrnuo sam keca i dvojku ukupno 10-15x!

A za Vampire...Znam, ali ne verujem da cu ih opet igrati (u skorije vreme), ipak presao sam je 3-4x!:-devil-:
 
Dobro, oce li neko da proba ovaj patch?
Instalirao sam patch. U sustini ovo je skupina bug fixes-a koje su uradili fanovi G3. Patch se najvise odnosi na questove. Instalacija je naravno preporucljiva, ali ne ocekujte da ce u potpunosti ispraviti buggove koje G3 ima. No, bolje ista nego nista.

Dobre vesti za fanove Gothic serijala, i to one fanove koji smatraju da je Gothic 1 jedan od najboljih RPG-eva ikada. Kao sto ste culi, Piranha Bytes radi na novoj igri, a evo i malo detaljnije na tu temu:

9. Let’s get to the annoying question of rights. Thanks to a rather unfortunate contract you’re rid off the name now. I guess that is not to be changed, but the name doesn’t make the game. The game, that is Diego, Gorn, Xardas and the other friends, that we’ve grown fond of. Have you lost with the name Gothic our friends as well, or is there still hope? What’s with your “back to the roots”? Are you going to tell the tale of Gothic 1 once more in new form? Many have expressed that wish.

We’re certainly not going to make a remake of Gothic 1. Possibly at a later time, then we could also think about a remake of Gothic 2 and 3 – however, with Gothic 3 that would certainly have to include major changes – among other things, the world would probably become smaller and the story more linear and dense.
Regarding the rights, we’ve already extensively commented on that – the answer to most unanswered questions is: “it’s unclear”. Meaning, both sides have certain rights, and we will either come to terms on certain details in the future, or we won’t. Nevertheless, we don’t want to take any risks and will therefore use nothing but copyright-free content like wolves, trolls and similar.

10. The Gothic 2 Mod Khorana has reached a level of interaction and immersion with a lot of care for details, the likes of which we’ve never seen in the world of Gothic 2. That’s been done with movers, for instance, who are more numerous than in the whole Gothic 2 world in spite of a comparatively small world. That can only be done with a high level of manual work. Regarding Gothic 3 people often stated, that due to the sheer size of the world a lot had to be automatised along with a lot of handy work. In the future, what will the ratio be between automatically generated content and manually designed stuff? How much manual work and corresponding detail is possible?

We will do almost everything manually again. That especially applies to manually placed items and chest contents as well as manually placed monsters. We don’t think we should pursue the path of automatic generation. I’ve already said in another Interview (Game Face) that in my opinion the automatic levelling system was the biggest weakness in the design of Gothic 3, because a lot of problems that occurred later in the game (for instance balancing) were a consequence of this decision.
Regarding more interactivity – that’s just the point that we’ve put on top of the list beside a completely revised battle design – we’ve already started working on that as well.

11. What’s the direction you’re going now? We have set up a page and a forum for an, as of now, non-existent game for the first time. Will we be able to accompany you on your path to the new game?

The game is non-existent? And what is it we’re working on, then? ;-) Excuse my petty fogging. J This game IS GOING to exist and it’s going to be the kind of game the fans expect from us. There is just no title for this game yet – everything else has been defined on paper already, though – main story, major story turns, main characters – we know pretty well what our game is going to look like already. But there won’t be any spoiling J

12. A lot of fans are faithfully sticking with you and hoping that you’ll return to the old values that have made Gothic what it is: a compelling, atmospheric dense role playing game in an extraordinary world. We would like to help you, if we can do that with a forum and a critical and dedicated community.

I’ve been happy to see, that in these hard times (for us too) so many fans have voiced their support for us – and still do. We’re well aware that this is not primarily because of the things we’ve achieved with Gothic 3, but because of what we’ve achieved with the previous games. Those who still believe in us aren’t going to be disappointed. Even if a lot of the “fans of the first hour” don’t want to hear it: There are quite a few people out there who actually like G3 – that doesn’t mean that we’re going to create another game like that, but we’ve certainly reached a few people who had nothing to do with Piranha Bytes previously, and we’re happy about those fans as well.
Wrapping the topic up: Hopefully the “new fans” will also like a world that’s not so free anymore but much more complex.

13. The last question, is the question of all questions: tell a little about the new game.

Oh dear…well, at the moment we’re considering not releasing any information until those things actually work on our PCs, so as not to put our foot into the “wrong expectations”
Again. But we can reveal one small thing: the story will be divided into chapters, as it was in G1.

Yap, definitivno se vracaju korenima, i jako mi je drago zbog toga. Imaju i novog izdavaca, tj. izdavaca koji je bio ukljucen u distribuciju Gothic-a 3, ali zapravo nije imao nista sa izradom igre - Koch Media, tj. njen ogranak Deep Silver.
Neke od cinjenica koje su poznate:

The new game will feature:
- fantasy world again with wolves, trolls etc.
- a much smaller, but deeper world, in size comparable to Gothic 1
- more interactivity and a redesigned combat control system
- the world will be completely hand-crafted rather than generated.
- no automatic loot placement as in Gothic 3
- a story divided into chapters as in G1 and G2
- less bugs than the predecessors had, because of highest priority on quality control and playtesting

Mike stated that they already have the story draft ready as well as main characters and that they are already working on the game. Details will not be announced until the development makes further progress, in order not to be blamed for later changes.

Kako onog kovaca da odvedem u pecinu!? Kako god pobijem one mamlaze oko njega, oni se dizu ponovo, a matori je u fazonu "bas lepo sto si ih izudarao, ali verujem da imas pametnija posla nego da caskas samnom".

- Da bi odrao kozu, moras prvo da naucis vestinu "skinning animals". Lovac na putu ka gradicu Cape Dun moze te nauciti kako da deres kozu sa zivotinja.

- Moras da ih ubijes, ti si ih samo osamutio. Kada ih osamutis, dok su na zemlji, drzis desni taster misa i pritisnes levi taster, probosces ih oruzjem i tako usmrtiti. Onda popricaj sa kovacem...

Ako me sećanje ne vara, ne možeš da ubiješ tako nekoga ako u drugoj ruci držiš štit ili drugi mač (barem ja nisam umeo :S: sa jednim mačem je uvek upalilo).
 
I ja sam se mucio na pocetku sa dva maca da dokrajcim nekog, ali sam ipak na kraju usao u stos.
 
i sta sad ? prave novi "gothic", a nisu ni ovaj nasli za shodno da zavrse ? Sta onda ocekivati od sledeceg ? Pucanje tekstura i LAG u singleplayer-u ? Blah...totalno razocarenje....Nadao sam se da ce ispraviti ovu trojku pa da nastavim da je igram, ja nisam imao bagova sa kvestovima vec sa performansama...
 
Bogami ja imam problema i sa 2 giga rama.Igrao sam ovih dana ponovo pomalo i zna opasno da zaseče.Tako da verujem da ovo ne radi dobro ni na jednom kompu.
 
- Da bi odrao kozu, moras prvo da naucis vestinu "skinning animals". Lovac na putu ka gradicu Cape Dun moze te nauciti kako da deres kozu sa zivotinja.

- Moras da ih ubijes, ti si ih samo osamutio. Kada ih osamutis, dok su na zemlji, drzis desni taster misa i pritisnes levi taster, probosces ih oruzjem i tako usmrtiti. Onda popricaj sa kovacem...

Aha...u tome je kvaka :wall: Ali...ovo sa vukovima te nisam razumeo. Pa meni je bas taj lik, na putu za Cape Dun, rek'o da moram da mu donesem 10 oguljenih vukova, da bi me naucio "hunting skil".

Ja na mashni iz potpisa igram na medium setovanjima. Doduse, nisam klokovao ni CPU ni GPU (znam da je mozda i greh sto to ne uradim sa ovim komponentama, lai...), tako da bi mozda mogao lepo da igram u full-u. U ovoj varijanti, zapinje sa 5-6 orkova na ekranu, tako da ne smem ni da pomislim kako bi izgledalo sa malo vise jedinica na ekranu.

Imaš u Cape Dun-u dosta koža od vukova (u kućama i oko njih), sakupićeš dovoljno da mu odneseš.
 
i sta sad ? prave novi "gothic", a nisu ni ovaj nasli za shodno da zavrse ? Sta onda ocekivati od sledeceg ? Pucanje tekstura i LAG u singleplayer-u ? Blah...totalno razocarenje....Nadao sam se da ce ispraviti ovu trojku pa da nastavim da je igram, ja nisam imao bagova sa kvestovima vec sa performansama...
Iz tog razloga su dosta kritikovani i JoWood i Pirhana Bytes. JW je izbacio PB, i ostavio ih je vukovima. Preuzeo je prava na serijal, kao i obavezu da patchuje G3. Izgleda da nece izbaciti oficijelne patcheve, vec podrzavaju community (od skoro i novcano) da izbaci nezvanicne patcheve.
PB je nasla novog izdavaca, Koch Media (Deep Silver) i radi na novoj igri. Posto se sa novom igrom vracaju korenima, verujem da nece uprskati stvar. Svet ce biti manji, posvetice se vise paznje detaljima, prici... Takodje su obecali da ce "domacniski" testirati igru pre izbacivanja na trziste.
 
Poslednja izmena:
Bogami ja imam problema i sa 2 giga rama.Igrao sam ovih dana ponovo pomalo i zna opasno da zaseče.Tako da verujem da ovo ne radi dobro ni na jednom kompu.

Grafulja. Meni sa 7900GS secne na par sekundi jedino kad učitava novi region (npr. nakon teleporta), a nakon toga tera 35+ fps u 1280x800, što je sasvim igrivo (na dobrom delu terena je i preko 50fps po frapsu). U 1440x900 se to već spušta na ~30fps, što je već na granici.
Ali uglavnom, I/O operacije su im beskrajno dugačke i kad nešto učitava sa diska, onda ga učitava (jednom sam zaspao čekajući da učita save).
 
Ja poceo ponovo da ga igram... Nova makina 3600+ x1950Pro 2GB rama...
Sve sam pocerao na high i mnogo lepo izgleda ali ume da zakrlja samo tako...
Ni ja nisam imao quest bagove, ali swap i stosta me je izludjivalo! E da odusevio sam se kad sam prebio par veprica! :D
