ATI Catalyst/AMD Crimson - diskusija, pitanja, linkovi

Da li je pravo mesto, i da li su AMD driveri problem, a reklo bi se da jeste. Na 2 masine razlicite sa Ryzen 4300G i 7600 integrisane na obe imam problem sa:
AMD software detected that a driver timeout has occurred
Obe su instalirane u zadnjih dva tri meseca. Na 4300G je Win10 na 7600 Win11. Proslo je 2-3 verzije AMD drivera. Updejtovano. Instalirani chipset driveri. Sumnjam da ime veze sa Chrome, ali sve sam vise ubedjen i da nema. Dogodi se barem 1x dnevno.
Na Ryzen 7600 sam nedavno ubacio Nvidia 1060 i od tada naravno nema tih problema.
Da li je moguce da su tako losi drv da ne upotrebim neku drugu rec. Vidim na netu mnogi imaju isti problem i sa razlicitim tipovima AMD grafika.
Da li AMD uvidja taj problme i ima li resenja, tj hoce li naprave normalne drajvere?

I believe what may be happening with the driver is that by default it is set for automatic tuning, which goes as high as 2900 clock speed - set by Hypr-RX. An RX7600 however, for example, is a base clock of 2250 and boosted clock of 2650. So as soon as the auto tuning goes into S7 it cranks it up to that 2900 which then causes the crash/driver timeout issue. Basically they overclock you out of bounds of your card's specs.

The fix is to manual tune your GPU and set the maximum frequency (2900 by default) to the max boosted clock frequency (2650 in my case - check your card specs). Have been able to game finally without crashing. Make sure to also turn off Hypr-RX profile or it'll overwrite your changes and set max clock again out of bounds (it puts back 2900 in max frequency for some dumb reason, overwriting the fix). Set your profile to the Default profile (which turns off RSR, etc.)

Do this to fix your Radeon driver timeout issue!

Go to Performance->Tuning, click Manual Tuning "Custom", Enable GPU Tuning and Enable Advanced Control. Look up your cards clock timings, and enter in the max boosted clock for the max frequency (again, 2650Mhz in my case).

For AMD devs, they need to reprogram the Hypr-RX profile to read in your cards max boosted clock speed and set that as the max frequency here by default and not the arbitrary 2900Mhz they set it to now, that will fix it for everyone.

  • Important Notes​

Da li se jos nekom desava sa ovo verzijom drajvera da iz cista mira ekran pocrni ?
 
Kod mene uzas,svaka igra pukne posle par minuta.
Ne mogu da verujem da AMD i dalje ne moze da napravi drajver da valjda.
 
Meni sa zadnjom verzijom drajvera Adrenalin ne pamti podesavanja za fan tuning, sve vrati na difolt kad restartujem win.
Vec nekoliko verzija ne radim clean instal samo nadogradnju, prvi put se ovo desava.
Takodje sam primetio da mi ponekad prilikom pustanja videa, film, youtube, EON na browser-u ukoci sliku na sekundu, secka, nakon toga radi normalno.
Ne zam da li je do drajvera, ali se to desava sa otako sam instalirao zadnju verziju.
 
Sve radi ko podmazano kod mene na W11. Čak i bolje od očekivanog. Nema to veze sa drajverima koji su poslednji.

Prosto vrati na prosle drajvere i resio si problem. To ako kod tebe nesto ne radi ne znaci da su problem drajveri mozda ti je nesto u samoj konfiguraciji sto ti pravi konflikt a ima nesto u drajverima i desava se sta se desava.

Jel ti nesto overklokovano? Jel ti ram ima ukljucen xmp? Sve to moras da proveris jer i najmanja sitnica pravi problem. Meni je xmp pravio problem jer nije bio utegnut kako treba i svaka igram mi je pucala kada sam vratio na default podesavanja evo vec godinu i kusur dana ni jedna igra da pukne.

Podesi fan curve u msi afterburner. Ja sam odavno prestao da koristim adrenalin za takve stvari, undervolt i podesavanje fan curve sve radim iz msi afterburner.
 
Nemam instaliran AB, nisam ga koristio duze vreme.
Niti klokujem, niti udervolt samo sam ugasio fan zero rpm opciju jer mi se bolje hladi M.2 disk pored graficke.
Do sad sve bilo ok, sad zeza, a i ovo mi je cudno sto mi povremeno secka video. Nista nisam klokovao.

Drugo nista nisam cackao od instaliranja win-a. Jedino win update..:p

Adrenalin ume da zaboravi nameštanja a čim nešto štucne odmah vrati na default nameštanja. Ja sam odustao od sitnih nameštanja, samo stavio na Performance jer je ova 6600XT ladna ko špricer.
 
Mene SAM zeza sa ovim novim 24.3.1.
Sam sebe iskljuci, cak sam i bios updateovao, sto uzasno mrzim da radim jer je sve bilo u dlaku podeseno.
Ni sa jednim drajverom nisam imao takvih problema. A updateujem jednom u 4 meseca.
 
Jel ocitavas u drajveru status SAM? Posto koliko vidim od iskustva drugih, samo ocitavanje u drajveru je bagovito, SAM je ukljucen svakako, sto mozes da potvrdis sa GPUz.
 
Da, iz drajvera. Mislim njihova je tehnologija, valjda znaju da ocitavaju pravilno ono sto su sami smandrljali :p
No, u pravu si, GPU-Z cita resizable BAR kao Enabled, a i perfomanse su tu, tako da je to to pretpostavljam.
Prvi put mi se desava ovako nesto..
 
Da li je moguće da nema lijeka za situaciju kad se koriste dva monitora kod AMD-a (a da je jedan sa visokim refresh rateom, tipa 165Hz), da idle potrošnja bude normalna a ne 100W+?
U suštini više me nervira što potrošnju uzrokuje visok clock VRAM-a koji je u toj situaciji pofino bustovan pa je karta i u idle bez potrebe 45-50c umjesto 25-30c koliko bi bila inače.

Znam da problem rješava spuštanje monitora na 60/90Hz ali jasno je valjda da to nije rješenje. Postoje neki fixevi po netu ali kod mene ovo što sam probao nije pomagalo...

 
VRR na ON mi riješilo problem, potrošnja pala između 5 i 30w u idle, posledično zbog toga što je vram konačno pao na min, uh, milina, ovo me baš žuljalo mjesecima :)

Kako sam skoro mijenjao monitor, zaboravio sam na ovaj setting, interesantno da nisam imao nikakvog tearinga u bilo kojem naslovu a u dosta igara imam debelo preko 165Hz na koliko mi je monitor deklarisan.

Ipak je bilo do drajvera, nakon ovog zadnjeg apdejta 24.4.1 sacuva podesavanja za zero fan i fine tunining control nakon restarta win-a.
Takodje mi se vratilo podesavanje za SAM. U prethodnom Adrenalin-om mi je stajalo da ga sistem ne podrzava..
 
Sta od ova tri je najbolje kad je povezan sa tvom.

poslednjih 6 meseci ovo radi nbt dal je svez instaliran win11 , isto tako ne znam dal je chipset update ili adrenalin.Najbitnije od svega ne sklanja se dok ga sam ne uklonim...
 
Neki glitch sa periodičnim automatskim updejtom drajvera, nikada se ne podudara sa izlaskom novih drajvera.

Zasto ga samo ne disableujes u task manageru? Znas kako se task zove, ostalo je rutina.
 
ma mogu da disajblujem ali otukud znam da ne krenu drajveri amd da mi crashuju...
 
Neće ništa da "krešuje", to je samo za update drajvera a i ne radi baš ništa.
