Šta ne smete propustiti na PS3

Tako i ja razmisljam! Inace od hypa za ps3 nista.
A to sto kaze Undenis za GOW2 je stvarno j#$%no neverovatno sta su uradili sa 300Mhz:zgran: .
Bas ga sad prelazim i divim se sta su uspeli da postignu sa tim "krshom" od hardwera.


E to ti se zove optimizacija. Imas graficki cip, znas mu limite i mogucnosti i maksimalno ih iskoristis, a slabosti zaobidjes (ne forsiras previse sejdera ako je cip slab sa sejderima itd.) i onda se cuda postizu iz "slabog" hardvera.

Kada bi tako i na PC-u radili (cupali poslednji atom snage), uopste ti ne bi trebao 8900GTX-GTi-20V da bi imao extra grafiku u HD rezoluciji. Problem kod PC-a su neverovatne hardverske kombinacije, pa je jako tesko programirati za PC kad ne znas koja je kombinacija CPU/GPU kod kupca, pa se radi univerzalno.

Dobar primer optimizacije na PC-u je svojevremeno bio Glide na Voodoo grafickim kartama - em je slika bila lepsa od ekvivalentnog DX-a, em je islo bez naglih skokova i padova u FPS-u.

Jeste, ali postoje neki preduslovi koji moraju da se ispune da bi se tako nešto stvorilo. To je bilo vreme zločinačkog monopola 3dfx-a koji je masnim parama podmazivao developere da ubacuju podršku za glide, čime je za sebe na nefer način obezbeđivao vodeću poziciju na tržištu godinama. Podsetio bih takođe da su otprilike tada Intelovi procesori i čipsetovi takođe gotovo držali monopol odvratnim TX i BX platformama, pa sirotim programerima nije preostajalo ništa osim da optimizuju sve za njih. Danas kada potegneš priču da bi trebalo tako, odmah krenu da te smaraju nekakvih pričama o konkurenciji i kako je sve bolje otkad ona postoji, a ti menjaš komponente sve češće i stalno dobijaš igre koje seckaju...Doduše, ja sam malo nefer jer sve gledam iz perspektive igara, a 85% korisnika to ne interesuje, i njih to ne zanima, ali šta ću, takav sam.

Eh, kada bi se vratilo to vreme...:)
 
Kakve veze ima shto je 3dfx drzao monopol ako je bio bolji ? :) Sad ti Microsoft drzi monopol ne samo nad softverom, vec i hardverom i nema kraja tome. A najgore od svega je shto su ovu arhitekturu doveli do kraja i sada da bi dobili neshto bolje moraju sve od nule da promene shto ne bi bilo kompatibilno, a to im se naravno ne isplati pa onda izvlache poslednje atome snage iz 20 godina stare arhitekture, pa ce tako komp dogurati do velichine ormana poshto tranzistori nece imati gde da stanu, a efikasnost ce biti 5% :D

Razocharan si na osnovu jedne nezvanichne mrachne fotke sa jednim vojnikom i loshom kompresijom ? :)

Znachi grafika je ipak najbitnija od svega ? :)

Pa zar ne vidis da je druga slika zumiran poster,ako na prvoj pogledas zid,videces da je dosta detaljno uradjen,kao i oruzje,a poster moze biti i najlosijeg kvaliteta!
Vecina komentarise da je fora da se ljudi smore pred E3 pa da tamo prevazidju ocekivanja,ili se bar priblize onom traileru sa 2k05!
Evo boljeg kvaliteta.

Cekam in-game trailer pre komentara :) Za ovu sliku ne znam ni iz koje je faze razvoja a i slabe je rezolucije.
 
Kakva prevara je ovo sa posterom-screenshotom ccc...

verovatno je neki shot iz prvog Killzone.

uopste grafika nije bitna, kao razlog za to kazem da sam igrao planescape torment kada sam kupio komp iz siga pre 2god...

hteo sam da kazem da je ovo razocaravajuce ako bude ovako naspram svih onih silnih najava o ULTRA MEGA GIGA dobroj grafici...

i da naglasim, ne blatim ps3 i ne mrzim ga, cak mi se konzola, dizajn, resenje, konstrukcija, bluray vise svidja od xbox360, niti sam xbox360 fan boy, jednostavno, ako bude kao sto je na ovom screenu ili cak sa minimalnim poboljsanjem onda ce puci velika bruka na sonyjevoj strani.. ovo je trebao da bude naj naslov za ps3... ono ruznije izgleda od the darkness, i to neuporedivo

ali cekamo zvanicnu rec i in game trailer rano ujutru ili sutra preko dana :)
 
Sinoc prikazan prvi MGS 4 gameplay (20min) na PS Premiere u Tokiu (snimak uskoro)

"TOKYO--At today's Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation Premiere 2007 press conference in the massive Roppongi Hills complex, most in attendance were expecting to see reruns of trailers shown at the E3 Media and Business Summit. So they were taken by surprise during Konami's presentation, when director Hideo Kojima gave the first-ever Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots gameplay demonstration.


"Where's my Social Security check?"

The demo, which lasted a full 20 minutes, began in the same unnamed Middle Eastern locale as previous MGS4 game trailers. Snake started out on the second floor of a ruined building. Looking down, he saw tons of rubble from the remnants of buildings obliterated by warfare. The landscape was particularly detailed, with walls broken into various shapes and surrounding buildings uniquely damaged. When Snake zoomed in on the walls using a scope named Solid Eye (after the 3D glasses from Metal Gear Acid 2), they showed a high level of detail with little or no pixelation up close.

While previous installments in the MGS series had Snake infiltrating areas that were guarded by a single superpower or army, the situation is vastly different in MGS4. The demo shows two different factions--professional PMC (Private Military Company) mercenaries and civilian guerillas, who were losing because they were less experienced. The demo started out quietly, with both sides just patrolling. By the end, though, there were explosions all over the place.

During the demo, Kojima had Snake side with the civilian army to help take out the PMC soldiers. Given that the PMC soldiers were wearing beige camouflage, it was difficult to spot them in the sandy fields and grayish walls. Kojima had Snake switch to thermal goggles to detect them, and then return to the normal scope to zoom in.

Hopping down the building from where Snake started, the aged soldier approached a set of familiar bronze statues last seen in the Tokyo Game Show trailer. Here, Kojima went to the menu screen and selected the active camouflage option, where players can access disguises for Snake's face and body. Snake normally wears an all-purpose "Octo-Cam" camouflage suit, which lets him blend into his surroundings. However, there's apparently other selectable camouflage patterns in the game, one of which is called the "Statue-Cam." Kojima selected the Statue-Cam and an appropriate face mask, and--voila!--Snake's camouflage suit displayed a bronze finish. The PMC soldiers then walked by, mistaking the grizzled commando for a statue.

Kojima then showed off how the Oct-Cam camouflage will help Snake blend into his surroundings--semiautomatically. Whenever Snake performs an action, like hug a wall or hit the floor, the suit automatically changes its pattern to match that of the surface Snake is touching. Kojima demonstrated this action by having Snake evade a PMC soldier by lying in wait on the ground and blending in with the tiles of a nearby building. Snake then stood up and dashed to the shadows by a wall and waited for the solider to walk past. Then, he took the solider from behind by using close-quarter combat, which made the solider drop his gun--a new element in MGS4. Snake then wrestled the solider down, choking him until he was knocked out.

Kojima revealed that Snake can take his enemy's weapons in MGS4, and CQC isn't the only way to get them--holdups can also be effective. When Snake put a gun against an unaware solider, he raised both of his hands in the air, dropping his weapon to the ground and shivering. The holdup in MGS4 looks a lot more realistic than in the previous games. While keeping his gun pointed at the enemy, Snake used his other hand to frisk for items all over the soldier's body. He also seems to have gained a new move that involves delivering a death grip to an enemy's crotch, rendering that person unconscious in an instant.

After taking out two soldiers (one with CQC and the other by holdup and grabbing his nether regions), Snake spotted a huge hole in the wall that was big enough for him to fit though. However, he then noticed PMC soldiers in other abandoned buildings that could easily spot Snake and shoot him down. Kojima had Snake switch to his Mosin Nagant stun rifle to take them out. This was done by way of the same sniper view the rifle had in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Snake then made his way down the building onto the ground and took out another PMC solider, this time using a stun knife that can discharge electricity. Kojima showed how the knife can be used to just zap the enemy and knock them unconscious, though it can also be used for fatal slashing as well.

Seeing that yet another PMC solider was nearby, Kojima showed off Snake's new prop--the oil barrel. The oil barrel in MGS4 has as much a camouflage effect as the series' traditional cardboard box, except it's a bit more resistant to bullet shots because it's made of metal. Unfortunately, it didn't seem as stealthy, as we heard Snake's knees banging into it as he walked. Kojima showed that the barrel could also be an effective weapon when Snake rolls on the ground in it, attacking any soldiers in his path. Naturally though, Snake got dizzy once he was back up, and we saw him throwing up.

Kojima went on to confirm that gamers would be able to play through the whole game in a first-person view, and showed how the Sixaxis' motion-sensing can be used to duck and peek around corners.

Snake then went into a nearby building and talked to his friend Otacon via his Metal Gear MKII robot, re-creating part of the first MGS4 trailer. Then, a battle between PMC and guerilla forces erupted outdoors. The PMC soldiers were obviously getting the upper hand, as they had more firepower and cutting-edge technology on their side, including flying biomechanical creatures that would drop bombs.

To help fight off one of the PMC soldiers, Kojima showed Snake's new best friend, the Metal Gear MKII. By selecting MKII from the item inventory, the player can take control of it and move around in either first- or third-person view. (Snake is seen crouching on the ground with his hands on the MKII's remote controller--which is an exact replica of a Sixaxis gamepad.) And while the stealthy MKII may seem small and harmless, it can knock out enemies with a powerful knock of electricity.

Turning back to Snake, Kojima showed that the protagonist can throw grenades backward like in the previous trailer. The grenade's trajectory is shown onscreen, Gears of War-style, as Snake is preparing to throw his grenade.

As the demo neared its end, Kojima showed off some more weapons that can be used in Guns of the Patriots. He used an RPG-7 to explode a tank, an AK-102 rifle to shoot some enemies on the roof, and a P90 to take out remaining soldiers on the ground.

Kojima pointed out that while he's been attacking PMC soldiers and helping out the civilian guerillas in the demo, it's really up to the player to decide which side to be on--or to not side with either of them.

Overall, Guns of the Patriots defaults to the same kind of third-person view as previous MGS installments. The basic interface has been kept intact as well, with the item itinerary on the bottom left side of the screen and the weapons itinerary on the bottom right.

One addition to the heads-up display that wasn't in previous installments was a semitransparent, illustrated icon on the bottom of the screen that appeared whenever Snake was near an object that he could interact with, such as a wall, an unconscious enemy, or a ledge. Another such object was a dumpster in an alley, which Snake hid in until enemy soldiers cleared out. But since it's full of garbage, Kojima noted that Snake would start to smell if he stayed inside the dumpster too long, making himself more obvious to enemies. As he came out of hiding, Snake was surrounded by a swarm of buzzing flies, though shaking the Sixaxis controller seemed to swat them away."

Famitsu.com reports that following a short demo play session of MGS4 at the event, Kojima announced that Kojima Productions is currently preparing a PlayStation 3 version of Metal Gear Online, the online battle game that appeared in MGS3 Subsistence. The site reports that Kojima will play the game live at next week's Metal Gear 20th Anniversary Party event in Tokyo and will share specifics on what players can expect.

Secam se MGS keca na PSXu, pa to je bila revolucija i potpuno nova vrsta igara, preshao sam je nekoliko puta, chak i na PS2 kada se pojavio :). Pa onda pochetak MGS2 na PS2 i neverovatno realna kisha, izgledalo kao rendering, a ono krecesh da igrash :D Na konferenciji (zaboravih gde), kada je Kojima prikazao MGS2, svi su rekli "ovo nema shanse da je realtime" :)

Driveru, ne manglupiraj se,covek u tvojim godinama,:D,igrao sam sa burazom MGS keca,kome je to najbolja igra koju je ikad igrao,a dvojku jos kad se pojavio samo prvi nivo na CD-u,ako se secas,tako da nema potrebe meni da objasnjavas,ipak se na trailerima do sada nije video gameplay i sa razlogom sam odusevljen,plus ima ok texture:D
 
Eh, kad bi još igara ovako radili pravi autori... iz ovog gameplay snimka
se odmah vidi kako je stilski ujednačena igra... sve je dizajnirano perfektno,
od okoline i likova do menija.

In response to the latest console hardware sales numbers reported by NPD Group, Sony contacted DailyTech and other media with its own internal data on PlayStation 3 sales.

According to Sony’s data, PS3 sales have increased by more than 135 percent at the company's top five retailers since the new $499 price was announced two weeks ago on July 9.

The surge in PS3 sales helped to send total PlayStation hardware up 161 percent, software up 15 percent and peripherals by 60 percent.

"The new price on the 60 GB PS3, coupled with our very strong software showing from E3, is certainly paying dividends in terms of impressive sales across the board at retail," said Jack Tretton, president and CEO, SCEA.

Tretton continued by outlining the upcoming lineup of promising PS3 software: "This jump in sales bodes very well for us heading into the fall as we launch an impressive arsenal of hardware and software, leading off with the new 80 GB PS3 in August along with the unveiling of highly anticipated games such as Lair and Warhawk. That will be followed by Heavenly Sword in September and six more exclusive first-party PS3 games in October, including Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction."

Overall console sales in June saw an increase across the board for all systems. PS3 sales were up 21 percent over May's figures, with 98,469 units sold at retail. Furthermore, PSP was up 31 percent year-over-year, selling 290,108 units at retail, while PlayStation 2 once again remained one of the best-selling consoles on the market, with unit sales of 270,763 for the month, up an impressive 44 percent from May.

U ovako pouzdan izvor nemamo šta da sumnjamo, ali sreću nam kvare podaci sa ovih pokvarenjačkih sajtova, gde PS3 još nije prešao 4 miliona (3.89m):

Naravno, kapiram da će za 6-7 meseci cifra preći očekivanih 1.2 milijardi konzola, što će naš dragi "Playstation Universe" usrdno propratiti i preneti vaskolikom čovečanstvu.

Mislim da preteruju sa ciframa, po wikipedii, Sony je isporucio 6.4 miliona konzola, prodato je 3.9 miliona (toliko je u zbiru) dok za total pise 4.48 miliona primeraka (mozda je greska, mada ovu cifru nalazim na dosta drugih sajtova). No kako god bilo, vidi se da prodaja ide brze od 360ke.

Naravno, kapiram da će za 6-7 meseci cifra preći očekivanih 1.2 milijardi konzola, što će naš dragi "Playstation Universe" usrdno propratiti i preneti vaskolikom čovečanstvu.

U Junu se PS3 ukupno prodao manje od sto hiljada u cijelom svijetu sto je zvanicna informacija, XB360 je odisao u duplo vecem broju primjeraka.

Pa, to je valjda broj isporučenih konzola, a ne prodatih...
a kako Microsoft moraju da zamene svaku pokvarenu konzolu ( nekih 4 miliona pokvarenih do sada )... računajte sami...

1.2 milijarde je verovatno broj za neshto drugo, jer se PS2 prodao u 130 miliona, nema bash veze sa tim, a pogotovo nema veze sa PS3 :)

Sony je planirao da proda 11 miliona konzola do kraja godine...
 
Koliko ja znam ne mijenjaju ih nego popravljaju.

Pa čekaj, ti si nam do malopre pričao da se PS2 prodao u preko 100 miliona primeraka
zato što se svima pokvario po nekoliko puta, a sad kažeš da to što si pričao nije istina. :D
 
PS2 se pokvari uglavnom poslije isteka garancije (meni je prekjuce jedan ispustio dusu poslije 2,5 godine a taj je najkvalitetniji tj. zadnja serija debelog), slim verzija mi je izdrzala 1,5 godina a do sada su mi crkli 6 komada mada su bili pojacano eksploatisani 4 u igraonici a dva na izdavanju u video klubu. Normalno nijesam ih bacao nego mijenjao laser kome je sve samo ne realna cijena (za slim 45 eura a za debelog 60 eura).
Mada cinjenica je da je PS2 pouzdanija konzola ali rijetko koja izdrzi preko 3 godine.
 
30004 verzija (jedna od prvih koliko znam, mi je bila cela do pre 3 meseci, onda se pre**** laser, ali najvise zbog toga sto su igre rezane na shit dividije...

ortak ima isto jednu od prvih serija ps2ke... jos mu sljaka, kuci se igra kao lud... drugi ortak drzi sonyteku, vec vise od 4 godine ima iste ps2ke i sve bez problema sljaka, koliko znam, samo je promenio 5gamepada za sve ove godine koliko ima igraonicu (a ima je od ps1 ere). dokaz da je sve super je sto je uzeo 2 1080p hdtv-a i 2 ps3, sve extra sljaka, prosecno po 10sati na dan...
