Evo ga spasonosni post:
"After reading a lot about manually editing registry strings and modifying nv_disp.inf prior to install, I came across a substantially simpler solution. This tool:
http://www.toastyx.net/cru-preview.zip
All I had to do was select the TV and uncheck "Include extension block". After a reboot the TV was now listed as a "DVI - PC display" in NVIDIA CP, with all the normal PC resolutions.
And finally the elusive "DVI Input Setting" revealed it'self in the TV's OSD.
One small step for... well, nothing according to you.
🙂 You say the TV will convert it to 4:2:2 internally? So theoretically I could have got equal results with the connection in HDMI mode and NVIDIA CP set to YrCbpr 4:4:4 or something? Well the DVI/TV:Full method I'm using now does look better to me than anything that I could get in HDMI mode, but that's probably because I was doing something wrong, or NVIDIA CP was broken in some way or another."
:banana::banana::banana:
