A sad nesto drugacije :)

redovan PC izvucem taj kabel i imam rucnu konzolu. Sta ces bolje, nije bas jak ali sve moje igre rade u ovoj rezoluciji.

Jedino mi fali conky. To jos istrazujem kako staviti najsigurnije. do sada se nisam time zanimao

This is how to install the conky manager and conky themes from MX Linux on Linux Mint Debian Edition.
Tested on LMDE 6 (Cinnamon) running on a 64 bit CPU PC.

Steps:

  1. Use Timeshift to back up your system in case you want to undo the install. Start Menu > Administration > Timeshift
  2. Double click the description field of Timeshift beside the restore point and label it “B4 conky installation” or something similar so you know which image to restore if necessary. This is in case something goes wrong with the installation and you want to restore your system to the state it was in before the installation.
  3. Go to Index of /mx/repo/pool/main/m/mx-conky-data and donwload mx-conky-data_20211226_all.deb and double click the deb file to install it. This installs the conky themes in /usr/share/mx-conky-data
  4. Go to Index of /mx/repo/pool/main/c/conky-manager and download conky-manager_2.7+dfsg1-6mx19+4_amd64.deb . I am using a 64 bit PC hence I downloaded the amd64.deb version. If you are running different hardware then download the version for your system. Double click the deb file to install it. This is the conky manager.
  5. Optionally, navigate to …/m/mx-conky/ directory in the above link and download mx-conky_24.3_amd64.deb and double click the deb file to install it. This installs an app to customise a conky. I am using a 64 bit PC hence I downloaded the amd64.deb version. If you are running different hardware then download the version for your system. Double click the deb file to install it.
  6. Go to Start Menu > Accessories > Conky Manager and run that.
  7. In the Conky Manager window, click on the Application Settings icon (third from the right, looks like a box with 2 switches)
  8. In the Application Settings pop-up, click the Locations tab, then the Add button, add /usr/share/mx-conky-data and it should appear in the “Additional Locations to search for Conky themes” box. Note that the path text should not contain the “themes” directory at the end. It should end with “mx-conky-data”.
  9. Close Conky Manager and open it again. The themes should then be listed and you can tick the check box of the theme to run.
  10. Not all conky themes work in LMDE but most do. The MX-CoreBlue/conky2core is the one I wanted to run but it does not work in LMDE. If anyone knows how to make it work do reply and tell me how.
