First, please try to clear Skype data. To do this:
Tap on native device's Settings.
Tap on Manage Applications > Skype.
Tap on clear data.
If the problem persist, uninstall/reinstall Skype. To uninstall Skype for Android:
In the home screen, tap Settings > Applications (or Apps).
Tap Skype or if necessary, select Manage Applications > Skype.
Select Uninstall.
Reinstall Skype from Play Store.
To get Skype on your Android device, visit skype.com using your mobile browser and download it from Google Play (formerly the Android Market). Alternatively, go directly to Google Play, search for Skype and download the application to your device. Once downloaded, Skype is installed and ready to run. There is no separate installation process needed.
