to znamo od pocetka, bar ja znam, meni se svideo wolf MP, jedino mi je falilo sa kime da ga igram. Po meni, to je jedini moguci nesebicni MP mod... One fore kao u BF-u da iz helisa iskoci sniper sa 40m i jedva prezivi ali zato przi sa lokacije sa koje mu niko nista ne moze, a ja moljakam komandera i avijaciju da ga skine, to nema puno smisla...jeste to "goshu" potez, ali je lejmerski u isto vreme...
 
Na žalost, ima i ovde tog silovanja i "kvarnih" fora da se neko tenkom zavuče iznad neprijateljske baze i roka, ova mapa iz bete je tako namerno napravljena, ali to silovanje lako može da se prekine jer svako može da uzme field-opsa i da rokne artiljeriju ili airstrike na smarača. I ne samo to, kontramera ima kolko hoćeš. Tog silovanja na BF način je najviše bilo u početku kada su ljudi tek počinjali da igraju, ali su kasnije valjda shvatili da nema nikakve vajde od toga - nema ni XP-a, a ni tim ne napreduje jer borba nije na tom delu mape. Veliki plus je što je borba veoma fokusirana, tako da više ne postoje oni smarači koji obilaze mapu po obodu da bi stigli do glavnog cilja. ;)

Inače, otvoreni su novi beta serveri u Holandiji i Nemačkoj kod i3d.net-a, svi koji igraju BF2/142 znaju da je kod njih extra, tako da nema više toliko laga i smaranja kao na ovim prvim serverima koji su se pojavili u evropi (rackage.uk).

Nego,jel si to video na sta se odnose ti testovi sa zvezdicom? Pitam jel nisam provalio o cemu je rec.

Opet tu nesto ne stima - mnogo velika razlika kad se to ukljuci,nemoguce da FPS pade na 1/4 !

moguce sasvim...nekad je moguce da i 2xAA naspram 0xAA napravi takvu razliku...developeri uglavnom kodiraju nogama, sa pivom u rukama i kukanjem o pirateriji u ustima.
 
Takva situacija se obicno desava kad na kartici ponestane resursa,obicno memorije.Ali u pitanju je 7900GTX sa 512 RAM-a.A tamo se vidi da nema razlike izmedju 8800GTS-a sa 320 i 640MB RAM-a

ETQW Public Beta 2 Release Soon!

Last week I flew back to London from the E3 Business and Media Summit in Los Angeles. We demonstrated Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars on the PC and XBOX 360, so to get back and start reading so many positive previews has made everyone here feel great. I'm even more pleased about the recent announcement that ETQW has been nominated for two E3 Games Critics Awards; Best PC Game of Show and Best Multiplayer Game of Show - this should be good news if you're in possession of a Beta key, because the build the journalists played at E3 was a preview of the Beta 2 build that we're about to release to you! The build is in testing at Activision right now and will be initially released to the QuakeCon audience for BYOC play. We hope to have it to FilePlanet within the next week or two for a wide release to all of our public beta testers.

Here are the highlights:

The new Valley map

Valley features a multitude of new GDF vehicles.

The GDF need to destroy a Strogg Prionite Contaminator that's poisoning a reservoir (the Strogg are attempting to render the local population defenseless to Stroggification). Our Level Design Team has been polishing Valley like crazy, plus it's larger than Sewer, and features four additional GDF vehicles (the Anansi Attack 'Copter, Bumblebee Transport Chopper, the Platypus Assault Boat, and the Mobile Command Post) and improved visuals over Sewer. We're confident you're going to have fun on this map!


Balancing, Refinements and Bugs

The whole team has worked on thousands of bug fixes, refinements, and balancing improvements in this build that couldn't be applied as a simple patch to Beta 1. This covers most weapons, items, tools, vehicles, deployables, and the user interface, including fixes for uncapped frame-rates, improved server administration functions, interaction with objectives, better weapon spread modifiers, vehicle firing rates, better sniper scopes, more consistency between weapons and their UI components, better fire support, improved deployables, and smaller tweaks like time-stamping for messages from friends, and tweaked special effects.


Improved Bots

id Software's John Dean is making great progress with the Bot code, and our Level Designers have added full support to Valley - You can now play through the map while off-line against Bots, co-operatively with friends, against friends each using Bots, or simply flood the empty slots on a server with them. Even at this early stage, they are the most advanced implementation of multiplayer combat AI that I've ever seen. They understand player level tactics and priorities, and team-level strategy. Sure, there are some bugs (else it wouldn't be a Beta!) but I'm positive you'll be impressed by them.


Improved Prediction and Player Physics

Our Physics Programmer Tristan 'Fearog' Williams has developed the new Anti-Lag feature, so we're finally nearing the point where the goal of 'what you shoot is what you hit' will be realized, despite a player perhaps being on a higher latency connection. There are improvements to the collision system, player knock-back, player speed, hitting targets that are jumping, interacting with the world while going prone – it's a big list.


Improved Vehicle Physics and Controls

Tristan has been working hard on this stuff too, with the Husky Quad Bike, Armadillo Truck, and Trojan Amphibious Personnel Carrier in particular feeling much more dynamic (as a test of this, power-sliding now works properly). It's easier to aim as a Gunner when in vehicles now too.


Improved Interface

You'll see masses of refinements across the whole User Interface, but our primary focus has been on accessibility. Gordon "digibob" Biggans' work on the Mission System makes seeing, choosing, and accepting missions much slicker, while class-specific mini-map markers and damaged vehicle indicators make finding the team-mate or vehicle that you need a lot easier. Jared "jRAD" Hefty has been overhauling the Server Browser too, with more detailed information on servers (such as which map of a campaign it's on, and whether the server is in warm-up, the time left, etc), while 'friends filters' list only those servers with buddies or clan mates on them. You can now tweak many more options in the Game Settings Menu, including much more control over graphics settings, and even a color picker to make customizing your alias and clan tag much easier.


Improved Audio

Lots of attention has been given to the GDF handheld weapons in particular, but improvements across the board have been made based on your feedback.
Improved Game Performance

Beta 2 comes with a slew of performance optimisations and tweaks. There are also several new menu options allowing you to tweak the visuals of the game even further. Compared to Beta 1, we've seen performance increase as much as 30% - we're keen to get all the feedback we can in this area, so please keep your performance reports coming.


PunkBuster

The latest PunkBuster revision is included with Beta 2 and should alleviate any remaining problems people are having. The PunkBuster folks have also revised their manual updater and it works correctly now across all versions of Windows, should you ever have to use it.


Unranked Server Support

Beta 2 will include everything you need to put up your own unranked ETQW multiplayer server. There's been a lot of demand for this and we're eager to get the server out there for you to test and play around with. It's worth noting that the unranked server code offers a wide variety of tweakable options; for example, you'll be able to turn ETQW into a fast and frantic game, or a slower, more tactical experience, depending on your preference.


Brand-new Statistics Website

The Official ETQW Stats Site will launch alongside Beta 2.

Along with Beta 2, we're launching the Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars statistics site, where you will be able to track your achievements, military ranking, comparative leaderboards, and comprehensive stats. Members of our Global Volunteer Force, which includes fansite admins and tournament organizers, have had access to the site for several days now and their feedback has been extremely positive. We can't wait to get it out to the rest of you.


The full list of features, refinements, and bug fixes, will be published with the release of Beta 2.

Everyone working on ETQW at Splash Damage, id Software, Nerve Software, and Activision, are putting in incredible hours to validate, and then incorporate, features, fixes and refinements based on all the feedback you've given us. Since the launch of Beta 1, we've seen record levels of posts on this Community Site, with thousands more reports on the FilePlanet forums and via email. Please do keep them coming! Beta 2 should demonstrate the significant improvements that your feedback has directly created. Enemy Territory: QUAKE Wars will get even better with your continued support.

nadam se da public beta nece biti ogranicena brojem kljuceva, u suprotnom cu se osecati veoma diskrimisano i necu im kupiti igru namerno, a sve id igre inace kupujem (to su i jedine koje kupujem :p )
 
Na forumu QW-a se nađu igrači koji dele svoje ključeve, pa proveri tamo ;)
 
Pocela je Public Beta 2, tako da trk do fileplaneta do kljuc :d, ja uzo sad jos samo da dlujem betu. Ako nadjete neki krsteni link sem smrdljivog fileplaneta postujte.
 
Mi koji već imamo key za betu 1 ne moramo da ga tražimo ponovo?
 
Ova mapa je mnogo bolja nego ona iz bete 1, a vidi se i da su lepo poradili na interfejsu. Biće ovo super kad izađe!

Malo sam probao ok radi, lagometer je kao u quake4, fps je u fajtu 30-40 na 6800gt sa default settingsima (800x600) sto je slabo, ali detalji ce i onako da idu na minimum ako se bude igralo :d

Ono sto me nervira je sto Punk buster klijent instalira neki usrani servis u windows pfff...

Utisci o samoj gameplay-u malo kasnije, za sada, rekao bih da ima previse vizuelnih detalja, tesko je uopste cuti hitsounds i nanisaniti, ali to je mozda i zato sto sam nov u ovoj igri.
 
Meni se ovo NIMALO ne svidja. Snajper je ocajan, umire se jako lako, strog je prejaka rasa, oruzja su jako neprecizna (kod GDI), Strog se sa letenjem zavuce po brdima i snajperise i ima 10 puta bolji snajper, ovaj GDI-ov seta nisan previse...Koliko sam bio uzbudjen, toliko sam se i razocarao. Performanse igre i frejm rate je prica za sebe. U prilogu dve slike, AF 4x, sve na normal, shader effects na medium, one skale gore nisam ni dirao, to je na 1/3. iskljucen foilage smoothing. Framerate je odlican inace kad nemas sta da radis, kad nema nikog itd. Ali cim dodjes u akciju ili blizu nje - kraj. Spustio sam sve na low malopre i framerate je bolji ali igra izgleda malo bolje od quake2...

Sama igra je jako konfuzna. Sta znace oni svi prozori to samo kreatori znaju. Gde je tu chat, ko je tu koga ubio...respond menu i to, katastrofa. onaj na "v" je suvise uproscen. Sta "yes" "no" ??? Cemu to sluzi ? Gde je enemy spoted i te stvari, gde je da prijavis "sniper" ? o onom meniju na "mouse 3" da ne govorim. Treba da upamtim 236 kombinacija brojeva da bi efektivno timski igrao ovo (ili da imam team speak i jako brz net). Opsta konfuzija, 3 sata igram ovo i i dalje mi nista nije jasnije nego u prvom minutu. Ubija me neki vojnik koji izgleda kao GDI, a u stvari je Strog, i to uvek sa ledja, u strog timu je...ma...Jednom recenicom: "ovde se ne zna ni ko pije, ni ko placa" :D Mozda je nekom ok, meni definitivno nije. Probacu jos malo, pa ako ostane isto dacu nekom key. Do sada sam na svim serverima imao osecaj kao da igram quake 3 CTF sa botovima na "nightmare" tezini...

Sto se tice voice chata, vrlo brzo se nauce bitne kombinacije tako da to nije problem. A uvek mozes one najvaznije izjave da stavis direktno na neke tastere. A tu je uvek i teamspeak ili ventrilo :d Svrha onog menija na V ni meni nije jasna, pored onog na mouse3.

Mozda te ubio njihov covert ops (kako se zove vec strogg varijanta) :d Mogu da se prerusavaju. Treba malo vremena da se navikne na nesto novo, e sad da li ce sve na kraju valjati, ne znam... Ja cu u svakom slucaju sacekati neki ETPRO mod da dam konacan sud.

Moze li se nekako iskljuciti autoreload, nikako ne uspevam da nadjem, uzasno me nervira?
 
prvo, moram da se izvnim za osidjivanje igre na lose performanse. Naime, screenshotovi koje sam postavio su sa 4xAA i 8xAF posto mije to ostalo forsirano u profilu za OpenGL koji doticna igra koristi. To sam ostavio zbog Q3, a palo mi je na pamet tek kad sam samu sebi prokomentarisao "kako je igra do 00 malo aliasovana" pa sam primetio da je cak suvise malo aliasovana. Bez AA na onim scenam ima ravno 30fps, ispod 29 nija plao, sto i dalje mislim da je smesno za takav izgled na "normal" setinzima, sobzirom da BF2 izgleda slicno tako (negde bolje negde losije), a ima preko 100fps sa 4xAA...

Sto se samog gejmpleja tice, tezak je ali ne i neizvodljiv. Treba se bas dobro navici. I dalje stoji da su oruzja kod ljudi jako neprecizna u odnosu na oruzja kod strogg-a. Takodje mislim da bi vozila trebalo da imaju ogranicenu kolicinu municije. I to VEOMA ogranicenu. Ovako imamo slucaj da tenk ili hodalica kampuje ispred spawn mesta i taba sa "auto-fire" :p Takodje mislim i da bi auto obelezavanje meta na mapi trebalo da bude za sve klase, a ne samo za "spotera". Kao sto rekoh, stroggovi sa back packom mogu da se zavuku na veoma interesantne pozicije. Ja ga provalim ali sam inzinjer, i niko ga ne vidi vec svi samo ginu ko ludi, a ja ko budala pokusavam u chatu da opisem gde je lik...a ovaj na vrh brda IZA glavne spawn baze... Pravi Camper Strike fazoni, a ako se ova igra na kraju svede na to , onda dzaba sve ove godine razvoja.

PS. Po preporuci igra kaze "pucaj kratkim rafalima" - ja kazem bullshit, isto ko kanter, udri od grudi i pun rafal. Dok nisam ovo poceo da primenjujem imao sam po 4-5 ubistava i mleli su me ko orahe. Sa CS metodom imam preko 20 kill-ova uvek. Sta vise, onaj mali assault sub-machine gun (u opremi kad uzemes rocket launcher) je jedno od najubojitijih oruzja.
 
Pazi, Strogovi uopšte nisu jači od GDF-a. Dobro su izbalansirani i da si igrao i mapu iz bete 1, to bi sada lepo shvatio. Tamo su ljudi kukali kako su GDF prejaki, kako ne može da se odbrani mapa bla bla bla, a sve je padalo u vodu kada se na jednoj strani nađe bar 4-5 ljudi koji znaju da igraju sa inženjercima.

Za svakog stroga i strogovsko vozilo imaš adekvatnu kontrameru. Ja sam otprilike pola fora pohvatao tek posle jedno 20 sati igranja. Veoma sporo se nauče napredne fore, ali se nauče.

Te fore sa strog snajpom na brdu iznad tunela sam provalio još prvi dan. Kao GDF postaviš radar čisto da tvoji znaju gde je ko i izrokaš ih snajpom ko malu decu jer nemaju gde da se uštekaju na toj pustari od brda. Posle se ti kao GDF popneš na brdo, postaviš onaj mini radar negde na zemlju i onda "malo" ti njih rokaš dole u bazi. Naravno, ako su ti u timu svi papani, ima da ti bude smor igra.

Isto je zeznuto kada su u GDF timu mnogo glupi igrači, a strogovi dovuku robota u tunel. OMG - Ne mož da odčepiš tunel nikako sem ako ne znaš da sa raketnom artiljerijom možeš da mu napraviš rusvaj, a to recimo isto nikome nije palo na pamet.

Onaj meni na V je fireteam meni i još uvek nije u potpunosti razrađen - mnogo je mali radijus tog spoted kruga i maltene moraš direktno da nanišaniš neprijatelja i još da se on ne pomera da bi ga spotovao i za ostale. Srediće vremenom i to sigurno na način na koji je to urađeno u BFu. Mnogo je veliki pomak urađen u odnosu na betu 1, tako da sam siguran da će igra biti super ispolirana kad izađe konačno... jednog lepog dana when it's done :(

Nemam adsl kuci, ali bih voleo da vidim kako izgleda.
Skinuo, instalirao, pokrenuo, ali nista, nemoz' offline...
Neke stvari sam izronjao na google-u,ali ne uspeh nista...dal' sam glup shta li?!
