Evo šta kažu za taj ultra jeftini Sapphire HD5850:
With the thermal solution off, you can see that this is indeed a Barts based board design, with the only difference being that Sapphire has slapped on a Cypress graphics processor. The Cypess GPU was AMD's flagship processing core before they launched their Northern Islands graphics cards in Q4 2010. There are varying specifications to the Cypress core, with each having a different amount of Shader clusters and clock speeds. However, they were all built on a 40nm process and have a 334 mm² die size. The board design of the Xtreme series also includes eight ELPID memory chips, a 4+1 phase design and even has additional cooling on the VRM.
To overclock the HD Xtreme series graphics cards we used Sapphire's TriXX overclocking utility and increased the GPU and memory clock speeds to their highest stable frequencies. While overclocking the HD 5850 Xtrme I was a bit surprised that the GPU could not achieve a higher clock speed than 798Mhz, but when looking back over the launch reviews of the HD 5850 it is not too far off from what most board were capable of. As for the memory we were able to increase the speed to 1190Mhz (4760MHz effective).
