Adjusting P2pool Payout Size
to reduce transaction fees
I would like to offer a solution that someone else gave me to combat the higher transaction fees that P2pool triggers with the micro-payments incurs. When you recieve 2 litecoins over a span of 40 transaction it almost takes half your earning to send it or spend it.

You can do that already. Append /difficulty to the end of your user name on login. e.g.
./cgminer --scrypt -o
http://yourserver:9327 -u username/2 -p whatever
that will only submit "2" difficulty shares to the network, pretty much double the current difficulty and doubling the minimum payment size.
If you want to only receive payments of .5 LTC or higher
1) look at what the current minimum payments per share is (the bottom of the page of your p2pool info will show what people are getting paid, check out the last one). Right now it's 0.00907233
2) Divide your minimum desired payment by the number from 1. e.g. .5/0.00907233=55.1
3) multiply the current p2pool network difficulty by the number from 2: 1.2*55.1=66.12
4) log into your miner with the username: whateverusernameyouwant/66
you will now only receive payouts of 0.5LTC or higher. If you're a small miner, i.e. < 200 kH/s, this may take you days/weeks before getting a payout and there will be much variance. For smaller miners I'd suggest getting payouts of 0.05LTC or higher, which is a difficulty of "7" (log in with whateverusernameyouwant/7).
