Naravno, s' tim sto je verovatno deo novca otisao i na izradu Shenmue 2.
Koliko god da je kostalo, vredelo je ... za nas igrace naravno 😉.
 
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition - the re-release with added DLC - has shambled to the top of the Japanese software chart this week.
The PS3 version sold 143,339 units to take top honours, according to Media Create data extrapolated on NeoGAF. The Xbox 360 version, on the other hand, was nowhere to be seen.
Other notable newcomers were Heavy Rain (sixth) and Dante's Inferno (14th on PS3, 35th on Xbox 360). Despite a top 10 finish, Heavy Rain only shifted 26,775 units.

In the hardware stakes, Sony and Nintendo were nearly neck-and-neck.
DS took the lead with a combined 44,821 units sold (DSi XL sold most), followed by PSP with 34,167 units, PS3 with 32,130 units and Wii with 31,652 units.
Xbox 360 sales were even lower than normal at 2453 units, and PS2 bottomed the pile with 1883 units.

Aliens vs. Predator, last week's top of the pops, was pushed into second. Just Dance, Wii Fit Plus, Modern Warfare 2, Wii Sports Resort and New Super Mario Bros. Wii followed.
There was another new entry at eight in the shape of Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing.
BioShock 2 and FIFA 10 rounded out the top flight.
Other newcomers in the top 40 this week included Napoleon: Total War at 12 and White Knight Chronicles at 35.
 
Nešto se razmišljam da skupim društvance i počnemo polako da razvijamo neku igricu za Wii. Mis'im ono, lova je zagarantovana 🙂
 
Na wii-u se prodaju samo 1st party igre.
 
To ti misliš. Pazi ovako krenem da razvijam Pokemon Digi Racing (smutim nešto oko licence), što je projekat koji ne mož propasti. Naravno ovo može svako pasti na pamet i baš zato ja imam džokera u rukavu. Umesto DLC mamipara sam smislio nešto još bolje. Pošto će klince trkanje sa Eš Kečapom posle nekog vremena smoriti, napravio bih automatizovani char editor koji bi od slike nekog buce pravio novog pretendenta na titulu master trenera pokemona. Svaki buco (avatar) po 9.99$, SUPERPACK od 10 buca (full roster) dajem na popustu za 74.99$. Nema da omane 😉
 
Pa tesko da ces da smuljas nesto ko licence 😉.

Nintendo has now sold 10 million Wii units in Japan, according to data trackers Enterbrain.

PS3 is in second place with just over 4.75 million, while Xbox 360 is trailing on under 1.3 million.

As Kotaku points out, it's taken 170 weeks for Wii to reach the 10 million mark. PS2 was a bit quicker with 131 weeks.

Prvi Heavy Rain kontigent u UK se skoro potpuno prodao. Restock za nedelju dana.

Izgleda da sam pogresio za njenu prodaju, a ovog puta mi je i drago zbog toga. 🙂

Videcemo kakvi ce biti brojevi u SAD-u, ali ce vecina kopija skoro sigurno biti prodata u Evropi.
 
Meni je drago sto se dobro prodaje, ali se nadam da se nece prodati u 'previse' primeraka 🙂.
Heavy Rain je zaista osvezenje, ali ne bih voleo da industrija jos vise krene u QTE pravcu.
 
Zasto? Timovi koji bi se bavili takvim stvarima nikada ne bi mogli da naprave nesto kreativno i novo, tako da je potpuno nebitno da li ce da kopiraju Modern Warfare ili Heavy Rain.

Ne podnosim QTE jer mislim da igre gube ono sto ih cini igrama i priblizava ih filmu.
U Shenmue-u je to bilo zanimljivo, vec u GOWu i RE4 nije, ali su isti bili vrhunski odradjeni i nisu mi previse smetali tokom igranja. Dosta developera je probalo to da iskopira i rezultati su bili dosta losiji/ocajni.
Uopste mi nije jasno cemu QTE-ovi danas, igre ionako postaju sve lakse i lakse, a igrac sve vise postaje posmatrac.
U dosta review-ova za MGS4 su se ljudi zalili sto ne mogu da "igraju" spektakularne scene, vec samo da ih gledaju.
Mozes li da zamislis Raiden vs. Vamp fight gde pritiskas X,X,O....strasno 🙂.
 
Bioshock (1) > 4 miliona, Bioshock 2 > 3 miliona (shipped), GTA4 > 15 miliona.

•2K Games launched BioShock 2 globally on February 9. The title has been a commercial and critical success, and has shipped over 3 million units to date. The original BioShock title launched in August 2007 has now sold over 4 million units, bringing the total sales of the franchise to 7 million units.

•NBA 2K10 from 2K Sports has shipped over 2 million units. The title continues to be the #1 selling and #1 rated basketball game for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 through January 2010, according to The NPD Group's estimates of U.S. retail video game sales and Metacritic.com.

•Grand Theft Auto IV from Rockstar Games has sold over 15 million units globally.

•2K Play’s Carnival Games franchise has sold over 6 million units worldwide on the Wii and DS.

EA's newcomer Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has topped the UK All-Formats chart. Xbox 360 claimed most sales (53 per cent), followed by PS3 (31 per cent) and then PC (16 per cent). The latter number is likely to be higher in reality as digital sales are not counted.
Ubisoft's Wii champion Just Dance was in second, Aliens vs. Predator in third, Heavy Rain in fourth and Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing in fifth.

Research firm Strategy Analytics has taken a position that some in the gaming industry may find unexpected: saying that the Playstation 3 will outsell other consoles by the time their repective life cycles end.

The research company's Connected Home Devices service published a report called "Taming the Waves: Games Console Life Cycles and Platform Competition" in which it suggests that the PS3 will still be a viable platform for as much as 5 years after the Wii dies.

Despite the fact that the Wii has captivated the world, brought in people who had never played video games before, and has eclipsed the sales charts for years, Strategy Analytics sees it as a fad.

"Nintendo has done a great job with the Wii in bringing console games to new audiences. But its sales are now falling, particularly in mature markets, and its installed base will peak in 2011. Ownership of both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 will hit their highest points between 2012 and 2014."

During all of 2010, the firm expects global sales of the Wii to total 17.5 million units, followed respectively by the PS3 and Xbox 360 at 14 million and 10.5 million. In terms of lifetime sales, though, it predicts that the Wii will sell through 103 million units while the PS3 will hit 127 million units.

Nema smisla tako nešto kačiti. To slušamo otkad su najavljene konzole poslednje generacije.

PS3 je u deficitu sirom SAD-a, jer Sony ima problema sa proizvodnjom...

Drago mi je sto je Heavy Rain usao u top 10... Bioshock 2 PS3 je lose prosao, a MAG je izgleda prso skroz...
 
Final Fantasy XIII has become this year's fastest selling game and has topped the UK All-Formats chart.
PS3 marginally outperformed Xbox 360, with 54 per cent of the market.

Last week's leader, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, was pushed to second.
Ubisoft's Wii champion Just Dance was in third, Heavy Rain stayed in fourth and Wii Fit Plus was fifth.

Modern Warfare 2 edged up to sixth, Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing was elbowed to seventh and Aliens vs. Predator fell to eighth. Wii Sports Resort took ninth and New Super Mario Bros. Wii rounded the chart off in 10th.

Fazon je samo to sto se God of War 2 krs prodao u UK i jedva je dostigao silver status (cini mi se 100k).

God of War se super prodaje u SAD-u, ostatak sveta ga i ne voli (u tolikoj meri).
 
Pa , meni GoW 1 ima neshto atraktivnije lokacije ( Pandorin hram ) , dok GoW 2 ima efektniji kraj ( koji to bash i nije ).Generalno oba su na istom ( vrhunskom ) nivou....
Moracu i ja ( relativno ) brzo da nabavim GoW 3.To je jedina igra za koje ne mogu da se strpim da padne cijena...
 
PlayStation 3 is the best-selling console in Japan for the week ending 21st March, thanks in large part to the launch of chart-topping Yakuza 4.

The latest instalment in Toshihiro Nagoshi's epic crime series managed a whopping 384,000 sales during its first few days on release, no doubt encouraging the Japanese games-buying public to buy more PS3s than usual - 50,000 this week compared to just over 26,000 in the previous seven days.

The PSP did alright too. Sales of hardware were just over 39,000 - consistent with the week before and marginally more than combined sales of the rival DS family - while new release Gundam: Assault Survive was in at number two with 91,000 sales.
 
Yakuza se prodaje isto vec dug period, samo sto se, sa svakim novim izdanjem, sve veci procenat prodaje ostvaruje u prvoj nedelji.

Ono sto je zanimljivo vezano za nju jeste da se pravi skoro ekskluzivno za Japan, iako igra ima dosta visok nivo prezentacije.
