Actor Stephen Root has officially confirmed he is voicing Brian Heder in Grand Theft Auto VI, making him the very first cast member to publicly verify their role in the game. Reports indicate that Brian Heder is a drug runner operating out of the Leonida Keys who serves as a mentor figure to Jason. Fans previously picked up on Root's distinct voice in the trailer footage, but this marks the first time an actor has broken Rockstar's standard cast secrecy to confirm it themselves.
