Šta je novo?

Dragon Age 3

Ne razumem zasto poredis DAI i Skysmor. DAI mozda nije hardcore kao DAO ili neki stariji Bioware RPG, ali se makar moze kvalifikovati kao neki Akcioni-RPG. Sa druge strane imamo akcioni walking simulator sa verovatno najdosadnijim questovima i najgenericnijim NPC'jevima u istoriji igara. U pravu si, nema DAI sta da trazi pored skajsmora, poredis igre iz dva razlicita zanra. :D

A TW2 mi je uz TW najbolji RPG koji sam igrao jos od Dragon Age: Origins, ali i pored toga igra je imala brdo problema. Roll fest borbu + iste genericne sidequestove na koje se zalite ovde (idi unisti nekker nest; nadji predmet X; ocisti pecinu Y od monstruma Z itd.).
 
A DA:I nema generičke questove? Pa pobogu igra te tera da "čistiš" oblast da bi bio xy level da bi mogao da nastaviš main story dalje...
 
Pa nisam rekao da nema. Nego vidim da se gore whiplasher zali kako je svaki sidequest u DAI fetch quest (sto nije tacno) pa onda navodi kako igra ne moze da se poredi sa Skyrimom, a u Skysmoru je svaki quest bukvalno klasican MMO fetch this kill that quest.

Ne znam na sta je mislio kada je rekao ''ne moze da se poredi''. Po cemu ne moze? Po broju i raznovrsnosti questova? Po tome koliko dugo ti treba da predjes sve sto igra ima da pruzi?

Jos pride glavni lik u Skyrimu je mutav, kompanjoni sluze da ti blokiraju ulaz ili da se zaglave u teksturama... Cela prica oko civilnog rata se svodi na 'idi tamo ubij sve u tom outpostu', bilo da radis za Imperijalce ili za Severnjake. A meni je najgluplje sto u isto vreme mozes da budes Archmage (a da nisi ni mage), Vukodlak i vodja gilde lopova.

Sto se opreme tice samo pratim sta mi vise daje, tj vise statsa. Sto vise to bolje i ne zamaram se mnogo. Crafting je prilicno oskudan.
Nije rijec samo o duzini igre. Monotono je i ponavlja se. Svaka mapa sve isto. Recimo graficki i sto se tice fizike i engine-a mi je mnogo napredniji od witchera 2 ali mi je witcher 2 mnogo originalniji i zanimljiviji bio. Ali zato nema sta da trazi pored Skyrim-a.

Opet isto pitanje (a nisi mi odgovorio na prethodno), sa kojim ti to craftingom poredis? Ja ne znam ni jedan BioWare rpg (a ni jedan drugi RPG mi ne pada na pamet) gde mogu da odaberem za svoje oruzje jedan od 20 vrsti metala za ostricu, pa onda od kog metala i koze ce da bude drska, pa gard, pa dodam runu, pa ovo pa ono... Pa se tu razlikuje da li je drska kompletno od metala ili je uvijena u kozu, pa kakav je balcak... I to je samo za oruzja, a imas i granate, i tonike i potione koje treba apgrejdovati, pa ako nemas dovoljno, moras da odaberes koji ces upgrade prvo... Mislim, kapiram, ti ces sad da kazes kako ih ti nisi koristio i to ti je bilo bzvz i nepotrebno, ali ne menja cinjenicu da ima puno toga da se uradi za one koji hoce sa time da se cimaju.

Ok, sledeci genijalac koji oplete po spoilerima a da mu puca tuki da ovde ima ljudi koji nisu presli igru dobija poene za flejm pa mozda sakupi dovoljno i za zimovanje.
 
Ukratko, igra je za mene ispod 50% obecavanog i (sa moje strane) ocekivanog, tj. veliko je razocarenje.
I ne mogu prezaliti 35e koje sam dao.

Ovako - trenutno imam Intelov G620 procesor sa integrisanom HD 2000 grafikom i znam da je naucna fantastika da i startujem ovu igru ali me interesuje da li bi sa ovim i ovakvim procesorom i R9260 uspeo da koliko-toliko igram sa nekih 20+ FPS na rezoluciji od 1680x1050.

Imam u planu zamenu procesora (ploca je Gigabyte GA-Z77) sa nekim i3/i5 ali mi je trenutno velika investicija sve odjednom pa me interesuje da li i koliko moze da gura ovaj slabasni procesor sa malopre pomenutom grafickom, za koju znam da sama po sebi spada u neku nizu srednju klasu ali...

A definitivno mi se igra ova igra...

Znam da je meni sa 2500k na 4.5 i 280x Toxic na par mjesta (pri max detaljima) padalo na 25-30fps. Svakako da ovo nije FPS, tako da je igrivo i na tih 30fps. Mada je mnoooogoooo fluidnije na +50-60fps.

@Edit - 64sata 30minuta. Normal/Hard. Main quest, svi zmajevi, citav hinterlands, western ap., Hissing wastes, De lion ili kako vec, ostalo preko 80%. Level 23

Mogu da potvrdim da vecina side questova nije zanimljiva (msm sta reci kada treba da vratis one bikove, krave, sta vec na farmu :d), ali da su na svakom side quest-u radili posebno, tj da svaki ima to nesto svoje, mislim da bi razvoj igrice, s obzirom na velicinu I duzinu, bio minimum 5godina bez da prekidaju, vec samo rade rade I rade, ali oni znaju da nemaju popularnost jednog GTA, tako da ne mogu toliko da cekaju sa izdavanjem igrice, tako da im je bilo lakse da stave slicne misije, promene teren I ubace slicne likove, I vecina se ne buni, ja prvi, istrazivao sam jednu pecinu u crestwood-u, brate mili koja je ono lepota za oko samo kad udjes, toliko detaljno I fino odradjeno da nemam reci, I uopste nije smorilo istrazivanje, ima jos tako slicnih lokacija, ali necu da navodim... Uglavnom samo me nervira sto ne mogu da nadjem shematics za potion-e, one napitke I jos neke druge stvari, ali dobro ne predajem se :D Meni od svih likova Dorian je najsimpaticniji, ima neke odvale I to mi se svidja, a najsmorniji/ja je Casandra, samo nesto zanoveta, klasicna zena :p Ja igram na normal, imam 26sati u igri, 12lvl sam trenutno, jedino je Hinterlands ociscen delimicno, ima jos jedan rift da zatvorim, I jos poneki quest, ali ko voli da istrazuje neka poseti Emerald Graves, mnogo lepo uradjena suma, stvarno su ga odradili svaka im cast.
A po meni najveca prednost ove igrice je combat, ja sam je zbog toga najvise I uzeo, I kada posle borbe macevi ostanu krvavi kao I tvoj armor, bas fini detalji, nema sta.

@whiplasher probaj multi da igras, zanimljiv je, ja sam odigrao jednu partiju, stigli smo do 4-te zone (imas 5 zona kao da oslobodis na nekoj mapi), ima 3 mape, ja sam bio u nekom dvorcu, I borio se protiv red templara, I generalno nije lose, taman malo da se izivis :D

Hahaha pa jesu, mislim ostanu duze vreme na tvom liku I ekipi, ne znam za mene su to fini detalji, mislim vise su to neke finese nego detalji, al nmvz :D

U Origins možeš da kuče iz družine pitaš da ti oliže oklop i onda si opet čist :)

Meni je bas bilo zao sto nisu ubacili i ovde nekog mabarija da ide sa Inkvizitorom...

Multiplayer je manje vise isti kao Mass Effect 3, osim sto napredovanje kroz dungone/mape se tuces protiv talasa neprijatelja. Posto mi je combat u ME bio bolji, samim tim mi se i taj multi vise svideo igrao sam ga bas mnogo. Ionako mi zbog krs kompa DA:I ne radi bas najbolje, pa me mrzi da se smaram sa dugim loadingom i povremenim crashevima, tako da sam samo par partija odigrao...
 
Haha a otkud sam znao, Origins iskustvo mi je bilo napravio lika, odigrao onaj pocetak u onom selu mislim ili ipak gradu? I posle toga batalio, nije mi se svidela grafika, a i sami pokreti likova su mi bili rtd, tako da nzm, mozda je vrhunska prica, ali ja kada sam to pokrenuo imao sam tek 13, 14 god, nisam bio zainteresovan kao sad za neki massive RPG, mozda uzmem i Witcher-a 3, svidja mi se klanje, a i prica je verovatno dobra... A sto se MP tice, zato sam i rekao da se izivis, u bukvali TDM sa kompjuterom, i zanimljivo je donekle (smara me dwarf legionary, em je mali, em je slab, hocu assassina) :p

Offtopic, da li ce biti Witcher za Origin(steam me nervira), kupio bih tu, jer su mi sve vrednije igrice na Originu sem WD koji je na UP...

Tesko da ce biti Witchera za Origin jer je to platforma za igre koje EA izdaje i retko kad (ili nikad, neka me neko ispravi ako gresim) izbacuju tu igre drugih proizvodjaca.

Imas na Origin-u sve Ubi igre, plus jos poneke od drugih izdavaca, ali nemas naravno u broju kao na steam-u... Pa ne znam, I Uplay je dosta napredovao od kada je poceo, sada je sasvim korektan u radu, I ja se ne zalim... A steam me nervira jer samo trazi neke update-ove, 300vrsta provera, a to me smara I mnogo je manje pregledan nego Origin, bar meni... Da ne pokrecem polemiku svako koristi ono sto mu se svidja :)

Možda su mi zbog toga hackovali Origin nalog i još trojici - četvorici ljudi koje znam...

Ja sam ga zastitio tako sto svaki put kad se ulogujem na neki drugi komp salje mi sifru na sms (posle kuckanja svoje sifre naravno), tj login verification, i sada ne brinem toliko, bar ne kao pre... Ali steam nalog cu morati malo da sredim, jer GTA V mora da se igra :D Salu na stranu imam solidan broj igrica na steam-u, ali to su sve HB ili neke sto su bile free, pa ga zato i ne palim cesto kao Origin ili Uplay :)

Završih konačno (posle 75h na hard). Zanimljiv obrt u priči i ostavlja dosta prostora za teoretisanje i nastavke. Naišo sam na jednu verziju sa kojom se slažem.
'The elven gods weren’t truly gods. Maybe they were powerful nobles, rulers, leaders. But they had god-like status among their people, which is enough (imagine inverted commas around the word god in the rest of this). And of course they were immortal like the rest of the ancient elves. I think all of the ancient elves were mages (Solas tells us that magic was as natural to the ancient elves as breathing).
The society of the ancient elves isn’t what the Dalish think it was. They idealize, romanticize and cling to it because so much has been lost to time. From TME we know there was classism and the keeping of slaves. Never mistake the Dalish for true arbiters of elven culture.
The elven gods ruled over their subjects/worshippers/slaves in a not-great way, even the so-called good “Creators”. Nobles marked the faces of their slaves to show which god they followed. Andruil had periods where she descended into madness, and she was a godess of sacrifice. Elgar’nan was possessed of an all-consuming rage. Ghilan’nain destroyed the creatures she had created with her power - all but the halla - in order that the gods would ascend her to godhood. Falon’din’s appetite for adulation was so great, he began wars to amass more worshippers. The blood of those who wouldn’t bow low filled lakes as wide as oceans. Mythal rallied the gods, once the shadow of Falon’din’s hunter stretched across her own people. It was almost too late. Falon’din only surrendered when his bretheren bloodied him in his own temple. There’s something about Dirthamen and dodgy blood magic too iirc. At times the gods warred among themselves - apart from Falon’din and Mythal above, Andruil and Mythal have also fought for example. I can imagine this warring extending to their followers. Solas says ‘But if you remove the layer of nostalgia from stories of the elven gods, you might see the danger. They were arrogant and fickle. They warred amongst themselves. They had feuds, vendettas.’ And at some point Mythal was murdered for some reason. So not an ideal society at all (this isn’t even getting started on the Forgotten Ones, who may have been even worse). ‘Because while one selfless woman may walk away from the lure of power’s corruption… No group has ever done so.’, says Solas. He walked away from the lure of power’s corruption, but the other gods were corrupted by it. And this is why Fen’Harel rebelled.
Fen’Harel is a god of rebellion, not trickery. The ancient root words of “harellan” mean “struggle” and “noble opposition”. Alone out of all the gods, Fen’Harel did not approve of how they ruled over the People. He wanted the People to be free from tyranny. He's big on freedom - notice how he hates the lack of freedom under the Qun etc. He thought he had a good idea of how to solve the problem - and indeed to him it must have felt like the only way. He tricked both groups of gods and sealed them away, made them fall asleep, in a realm beyond, reached via Eluvian. All but Mythal, who either was already dead (only to surface later of course, as we know the spirit of Mythal came to join with a human woman) or who had already come back as Flemythal and wanted vengeance and so joined Fen’Harel in his plotting. Solas both in romance dialogue and in dialogue with non-elf inquisitors that he disapproves of makes reference to how he knows the mistake of trusting so well that he could carve her face, how it’s been so long that he had a [non-spirit] friend that he could trust, etc. Either one of the other gods betrayed him, or he felt betrayed by the way they ruled over the rest of the elves, perhaps.
Morrigan tells us Eluvians can be opened and locked and each one has a key. In elven history, orbs called foci were used to channel the power of the gods. They were usually associated with a member of the pantheon, and required a great deal of energy to unlock. Fen’Harel used his foci to lock the rest of the gods away in an Eluvian. That orb is the key to re-opening that Eluvian. After doing so, he went to sleep, uthenera. He must have been very tired from expending the energy needed to use the orb. He may also have been very sad. He did what he did for the greater good of the People, but he couldn’t escape the way doing what he did must have felt. He had just banished all the rest of his kind from the world and was now alone. Dying alone is his greatest fear. Wolves are pack animals, after all. The pain and sadness was such that he preferred to fall into a slumber than exist alone.
Unfortunately, his plan backfired. Abelas tells us that it wasn’t the Imperium that destroyed the culture of the ancient elves - the ancient elves destroyed themselves. Without their Creators they descended into war and destroyed themselves. Without their Creators they were further destroyed by humans. Long after this happened, Fen’Harel awoke. In horror he realized what he had done, what his actions had caused - elves are now enslaved in Tevinter, subjugated in alienages, persecuted and killed by humans, or wandering the wilds as but shadows of their former glory, clinging to scraps of the past and being seriously mistaken about ancient elven lore. He wanted to free them, but thanks to what he did, they’ve virtually lost everything. Their history, power, culture, immortality and widespread aptitude for magic. Crystal spires twining through the branches, palaces among the clouds, spells that took years to weave and once created joined older magics in an unending symphony - that was what was lost. This is not what he wanted. He regrets sorely what he did and references this in dialogue - a mistake made by a younger elf. He tried to make things better by sharing his knowledge with modern elves (the Dalish) but as we hear from him in dialogue they turned him away, called him mad, wrong, flatear, etc. It makes him think that the modern elves aren’t his people, the ancient ones are. All of this is a huge part of why Solas is filled with such quiet sadness and loneliness, and a huge part of what Cole senses when he touches Solas’ mind and sees the pain there. A pain that he [Cole] can’t heal, Solas tells him.
Fen’Harel wanted to right his wrong, fix his mistake. He tried to use his orb to unlock the Eluvian and let the elven gods back into the world, but he was too weak when he awoke. Desperate, he gave the orb to Corypheus, since Corypheus had enough power to activate it. I suspect he gave it to Cory because he was the only being he was aware of with enough power to do so. Cory is an ancient being too after all. This as we know inadvertently caused the explosion.
It’s kind of ironic because Cory too awoke from slumber and found the world gone awry.
Solas joins the Inquisition to fix this second great mistake, and retrieve the orb. And fix it they do - they seal the Breach and defeat Corypheus. But the orb lies broken and Solas is distraught, because it was the key to releasing the others.
He returns to Mythal. He should pay the price for his mistakes, and/or the “price” of what will be needed now to open the Eluvian - what that is I cannot say. But the People - the elves - he thinks they need him. His intentions now are to find another way to carry out his plans of unleashing the gods again.
I’m not clear on what happens in the final scene. Either Flemythal is sorry because of what she’s about to do him - possess his body - (though I think this is unlikely since he speaks to Lavellan through Cole after this occurs) or he’s sorry for failing and for what HE’S about to do which is kill Flemythal and take her power. This power will help him in his quest to unleash the gods and Flemythal in this scenario isn’t truly dead because 1) she’s Flemythal, powerful, a DA staple and 2) she probably has another Horcrux thing somewhere. OR they’re both just sorry at everything that’s happened and the poor state of the elves, and Flemythal willingly gives him her power.
An optional variation on this theory is this: Solas is in a similar situation to Flemeth. That is, he isn’t strictly Fen’Harel, but carries the spirit of the Dread Wolf with him as Flemeth carries Mythal’s. Solas tells us he grew up in a village to the north and as a young man wandered the Fade. Leliana’s spies find centuries-old ruins of this village, so it was a real place. Centuries ago, the young Solas was wandering the Fade and interacting with spirits as he was wont to do, and encountered the spirit of Fen’Harel and decided to join with it.
I think as well what he did may have changed the way the world works in terms of magic, spirits, the Fade. He speaks to us of a vision he has - if the Fade was not a place one went but a state of nature, like the wind. Spirits would enter freely and be as common as grass or trees, imagination would define reality. When everything sang the same. This isn’t just a vision he has, but what once was, and what he wishes a return to. Locking the gods away changed things, so great was the link between ancient elves and magic/spirits/etc. Yavana speaks of a time before the Veil, before the mysteries were forgotten…

He’s in so much pain, an ancient pain. He wants to right what he thinks was a wrong and put things back the way they were. Alone among all the elves of modern Thedas, Lavellan is different, Lavellan listens to him share his knowledge, Lavellan is unique and world-changing and a magnificent spirit, she’s too bright, like counting birds against the sun, the mark makes her more and yet it wasn’t what made her this way - maybe he’s misjudged the Dalish after all. She changes everything - if there can still be elves like her, maybe the gods don’t need to return to the world. But it can’t. He has to do it. He has to fix his mistake and bring them back. He says passion lets people attach import to trivial things and that people wish to accomplish truly great things on their own, and that the wise must sometimes give people what they need, not what they want. Consider those words and his relationship with Lavellan.

Solas means pride or to stand tall in elvish. He took this name to remind himself of what his pride has wrought (the pride he used to have as a younger elf who thought he had the answer).
