Today, Wargaming informed me that I have been removed from the World of Tanks Content Creator Program, effective immediately. Their stated reasoning is that my “long-term content strategy has remained consistently misaligned with the values and goals of the program,” pointing in particular to videos where I have discussed topics such as “Is World of Tanks Dying?”, “Problems of WoT”, and similar themes.
I want to be clear: I never set out to “undermine trust” or break collaboration. My content has always been created with one goal in mind -- to share honest thoughts, concerns, and feedback about the game. I’ve highlighted problems because I believe they matter to the community and deserve to be talked about openly. That’s not negativity for its own sake -- it’s passion for a game I’ve invested years into.
Yes, I criticize. But I criticize with the goal of making the game better, more enjoyable, and more sustainable for both veteran players and newcomers. I highlight problems because I know many in the community share these concerns, and ignoring them helps no one. My feedback is rooted in real experience, not negativity for its own sake.
The irony is that Wargaming themselves said “constructive feedback has always been valued” and that this was one of the reasons I was invited to the Summit in 2024. Yet, when my feedback continued to focus on the core issues players raise every day, it was deemed “misaligned” with the program’s goals.
Silencing honest voices does not strengthen a game -- it weakens the bond of trust between developer and community. Players want to feel heard, not just marketed to. Constructive dialogue, even when uncomfortable, is how good games become great.
I also want to address their claim about promoting competitor titles. As a content creator, my responsibility is to my audience first. Viewers deserve transparency about the gaming landscape, and pretending competitors don’t exist would be dishonest. Showcasing alternatives doesn’t mean I’ve stopped caring about World of Tanks -- it means I care about being real with my community.
Ultimately, the program asked me to align my content with corporate priorities. I chose to align with my community instead. I told them in the past already, that If the cost of honesty is losing my spot in the program, then so be it.
I remain committed to making authentic content -- for better or worse -- about the state of World of Tanks. And I’ll keep doing it because you guys deserve honestly, not just a filtered narrative.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support me. I cannot thank you guys enough and know that your trust means more to me than any “partnership” ever could.
