Amnesia: The Dark Descent

Savršena sesija ove igre mora ispuniti sledeće uslove:

- olujna noć sa puno kiše i grmljavine
- obližnja tvrđava ili koliba u šumi
- prostorija u kojoj ćemo igrati mora biti mala i obavezno da ima utikač
- laptop sa dobrim sluškama

Ko se igrajući u ovim uslovima ne istraumira za ceo život taj nije normalan :p

A moze i kombinacija igranja u nekoj praznoj kuci van naselja sa dobrim surround sistemom. Nisu ovakve igre za igranje po stanovima i prenaseljenim oblastima.:p

a mozda jednostavno da odemo u Rumuniju u drakulin dvorac da igramo :d
 
..mogu vam priznati da je i u mojoj zgradi prilicno jezivo...samo kad se setim svih onih krzubih penzosa...nije mi svejedno kad se vracam kasno kuci.
 
Pricaj mi. Na srecu prilicno su spori pa ih, dok ne stignem do cetvrtog sprata, "chistim" shotgun-om, ali se opet pojavljuju kad silazim. E sad, ne znam da li su to isti penzosi, posto ih ne razlikujem kao ni Kineze, ali znam da me prekljuce neki ugrizao i siguran sam da cu vremenom postati jedan od njih...Primetih, dva puta u mesecu imaju neko ritualno okupljanje.Hmm...

Na koliko semplova drzite SSAO? Znam sta treba da gledam, ali ne vidim neku razliku.
 
Ja sam ga izgasio jer ubija fps skroz. A ti mozes da ga drzis full on. :D

Condemned je vrhunski horor, mislim da se nikad nisam toliko plasio igrajuci neku igru.
 
Da, da. Kvalitetan naslov, isto slow paced , ali ipak dinamicniji i drugaciji u izvodjenju od Amnesia-e. Originalan na svoj nacin...

Nikad mi nece biti jasno zasto nisu uradili i drugi deo za PC:(
 
Verovatno zato sto su vise zaradili na konzolama na prvom delu, pa iz inata valjda.
Moguce da lupam.

Da, Condemned 1, vraski dobra igra, meni je borba sa melee oruzjima bila najbolja.

Znaci kazete dobra igra ova Amnezia :).
Nikako nisam mogao da se nateram da predjem Penumbru, nije da mislim da je losa igra, nemam pojma... nekako me nije teralo da je prelazim.
 
Prvih 10-15min je dosadno, nakon toga je sve bolje i bolje :)
 
Mene bas vuce da igram, sreca sad za vikend imam dosta vremena pa sam vec dosta presao...
 
Upravo je presao, nije bila nesto previse dugacka, ocekivao sam vise prepadanja :) Sve u svemu odlicna igra, nisam ni jedan bug primetio tokom cele igre... Iskreno se nadam da ce biti jos ovakvih igara, ova mi je bas legla...

Zaplet u Penumbri je bezveze i meni je takođe bio totalno nezanimljiv. Ovde priča nije bog zna kako originalna ali je jako fino ispričana, podseća na Undying i na bauljanje po onom ukletom hotelu u Bloodlines-u.

Ja sam zaglavio u zatvoru, ubiše me par puta, kratak sam sa strujom i lekovima. Mislio sam da je do sada bilo strašno ali mi je zatvor mnogo jeziviji od svega do sada. Koliko ima do kraja, procentualno gledano?
 
Završih ovo sinoć. Vrlo dobra igra. Manje sam se plašio pred kraj igre ali je svakako bilo štrecajućih momenata. Lepo od njih što su se potrudili i uradili tri različita završetka.

Jel zna neko čemu služe oni kodovi što igra izbaci posle credits-a?

One week after the release of Amnesia


Piracy

I think the most alarming thing was that the game was available as a pirated copy 24 hours or so before release. This kind of 0-day release can be quite hurtful, as otherwise paying customers might be so anxious to play that they pirate and then forget to pay for it. Since we released the game online only, we were not expecting this and the source of the illegal copy was one of our review copies (with tracking info hacked away). We are not sure what to do about this in the future, but we will have to be more careful and perhaps not send out review copies to so many outlets. It could have gone a lot worse though as a the first review copies (of early builds) were sent out almost a month before release.


Sales

As many of you might already know Amnesia is a sort of make or break game for us. At the time of writing, we are very close to our "all is good"-goal, meaning that we are still in business (due to contractual stuff we cannot release any numbers right now)! However, there are a few "buts" to all this.

The response we got from the game is a lot better than we expected, yet the sales are only "good" according to our, much more modest, expected response. This makes us wonder what sales we would have gotten if the response would have been more like what we thought it would be. If this is our time in the spotlight, then a lot less noticed game would probably put us out of business. As it looks now, we still have to be quite careful in budgeting our next game (although much less careful than what we had to be with Amnesia). We were hoping a really successful release would makes 100% unworried about finances, but that is not what has happened.

Can we really judge sales from just one week? According to current graphs: yes we can. Even though reviews keep coming in from major outlets and we keep pushing out marketing material (videos, release of tools, etc) sales are dropping fast. Around 50% of our current earnings where made in less than a week and on pre-orders from before release. The sales where at the top during the last hour of the Steam 20% discount, and has since dropped almost exponentially, being pretty much halved each day. It will be really interesting to see at what level it pans out.

“There have been several occasions when we seriously considered dropping the project,” Thomas Grip told BeefJack today.

The game’s been rather a financial struggle for the small independent developer, whose previous game – the three-part Penumbra series – was something of an overlooked gem. “We have had to cut salaries almost in half – and they were low to start with,” said Grip. And the troubles aren’t over just because the game’s finished: “Our future as a company depends on this game not flopping, so plenty of butterflies in the stomach.”

Hehe, zameraju horor igri što ima previše horora :D

Ovo sam osetio na svojoj koži. Mada ja bih svakako platio s obzirom da je bio preorder ali mi je stvarno bilo bezveze dok sam čekao da mi stigne a svi uveliko igrali...

Baš me zanima koliko su prodali. Cenim da je to oko 20k kopija pošto verujem da im je budžet smejurija. Kad kvalitet ove igre koja je rađena štapom i konopcem sa APB-om koji je koštao 100 miliona i uspeo da ponudi najlošije napucavanje i vožnju koju sam ikada video u igrama (na svim platformama uključujući J2ME) onda čoveku stvarno dođe da se zapita u kom smeru ovaj svet ide. Pa ovi ljudi da su imali desetinu tog budžeta napravili bi od ovoga neviđenu igru.
 
Barem im je Steam pomogao za smanjjivanje piraterije. Za nezavisne (a i ostale) developere je dobro što Valve drži 70%+ DD jer Steam zaštićene igre AFAIK nikada* nisu razbijene pre zvaničnog datuma izlaska - ne mogu dok Steam serveri ne dekriptuje igrine fajlove a Steam kontroliše kada se to dešava. Sprečiti 0-day pirateriju je ključno jer ima veliki uticaj.

* izuzetak je HL2 alpha leak, ali to je potpuno druga situacija naravno.

Odlicna igra!
Ne preporucujem igranje zajedno sa devojkom, jer par puta sam se ja isekao samo zato sto je ona pocela da vristi. :)
 
Ne znam za vas ali je meni ovo najbolji horor u poslednjih par godina, davno nisam igrao nešto do 4AM :D
