Fallout 3 (nastavak II) [spoiler alert]

zabavna igra, cak je i dobra, ali nije fallout
ima nekih dodira sa falloutom, neke stvari su prekopirane, ali je i dalje to oblivion with guns, nazalost
najvise mi deluje kao parodija na fallout :) i jos par stvari
recimo mad max, onaj grad gde su deca, doduse ovde zive u pecini, ne izlaze napolje i nisu oslepeli jos uvek, jedino ne znam odakle im nova deca, mozda nisam pratio pricu, mala deca u igrama su mi mnogo odbojna :)
i cini mi se da se vreme odvijanja igra ne poklapa sa onime sto kazu, posto kao desava se nekih 200-300 godina posle rata, a opet vecina ljudi kada prica, na nacin na koji pricaju neke stvari, imam osecaj kao da su ziveli i pre rata, cudno
super mutanti, jooooj, koliko sam video nema nigde obicnih mutanta koji bi trebalo da su najbrojniji?
na 20lvlu je lik one man army, jos imam i onog fawkesa da ide sa mnom, plus onaj skill koji se dobija na 20tom lvlu, da kada nekog ubijete u vatsu, AP je ponovo napunjen, tako da nikad ni ne izlazim iz vatsa :) a cini mi se da je u vatsu svaki drugi pogodak critical :)
doduse stavio sam neki od onih modova za uklanjanje lvl capa, ali izgleda da bas i ne radi za skillove, no nebitno, posle 15tog lvla ne moze mi niko nista :)
sada istrazujem i radim side questove, koliko vidim replejabiliti je 0 pa da ne bih igrao opet na silu, sada cu sve da zavrsim :) samo iztrazivanje, citaju logova i onih holo traka je odlicno, bas se zasnaju neki detalji oko rata kada je poceo, kako je sve otislo dodjavola... i svidja mi se svet, grafika jeste losa, ali mislim da su izvukli max iz ovog enginea
to bi bilo to, kao sto sam rekao ranije u nekom od postova, posto nisam mnogo ocekivao, nisam ni razocaran :) dopadljiva igra, nije fallout nastavak.

e da, nasao sam i elfove, u oasisu :)
 
Evo sumirano na jednom mesto poprilicno detaljno sa zaista objektivnim stavovima kakva je igra i koliko se razlikuje od fallouta ne samo po izvodjenju vec po svim ostalim principima koji cine jedan rpg, i kakav je pristup bio prilikom pravljenja originala a kakav sada. Ne nije hejterski tekst, sve je poprilicno lepo opisano i prokomentarisano, pa je pozeljno da oni koji nisu igrali ili ne kapiraju sta su fo1 i 2 da bace pogled

Fallout 3 is the third instalment in the award-winning series beloved by children and young adults. The game continues mature themes of exploring a huge world, looting everything that isn't nailed down, killing anything that looks at you funny, and levelling up. While there were other games in the series, no one at Bethesda could remember Arena and Daggerfall, so they stuck with Morrowind and Oblivion for the purpose of determining what exactly they "do well".

Even though the box clearly states that it’s Fallout and adds a very convincing "3", it’s not a Fallout game. It's not even a game inspired by Fallout, as I had hoped. It's a game that contains a loose assortment of familiar Fallout concepts and names, which is why you start the game in a "Vault", get a "Pipboy" device, become buddies with the "Brotherhood of Steel", shoot some "Super Mutants", and stop the evil "Enclave" from doing bad things to good people in a post-apocalyptic "retro-future" America. The main plot revolves around water (Fallout 1 plot) and requires a G.E.C.K. (Fallout 2 plot), thus assuring you that you really are playing a 100% authentic, notary certified Fallout game. With, like, vaults and stuff. Let's take a closer look, shall we?

The Setting

Once upon a time there was a big war that turned most of North America into a wasteland. Two hundred years later you emerge from one of the vaults that were designed to keep people safe during a nuclear holocaust. Since this is an action RPG, you discover that the wasteland is filled with many dangers and that you can’t walk very far without something trying to kill you. You explore a large chunk of land, eventually making your acquaintance with the order of knights sworn to protect humanity and rid the land of evil man-eating ogres once and for all. On this colourful canvas your epic adventure will take place.

The game is set on the East Coast, rather than on the West Coast like the first two games, providing Bethesda with a perfect opportunity to tell their own story. To show different communities that have formed on the East Coast, how they’ve adapted to the harsh new reality and managed to survive, and what problems they’ve caused and now face. Instead of this, Bethesda decided to populate the East Coast with the already familiar super mutants, Brotherhood of Steel knights, and Enclave troopers. Unfortunately, these groups left their depth over on the West Coast and have all the complexity of cardboard cut-outs.

Super mutants, the failed attempt to create super soldiers from normal humans, are now flesh-eating beasts keeping gore bags full of body parts as handy snack bags wherever they hang out.

The Brotherhood turned from an almost monastic order, too small to fight the super mutants on their own or to attract too much attention to themselves, into a holy order of knight-protectors keeping humanity safe and shooting at things on sight. In Fallout they didn't have enough equipment, in FO3 (100 years since Fallout and 200 years since the war) high tech weapons and armor are everywhere and fallen comrades with their Power Armor and laser rifles are left behind without a second thought.

Although the game tells you that it's been 200 years since the war, the gameworld and environments indicate that this is a lie the Matrix wants you to believe and that it's been only a few decades at most. Electricity, pre-war electronic equipment, powered and still working computers (just think about that for a second), working cola & snack machines, weapons, ammo, scrap metal (needed by many), and even unlooted first aid boxes are everywhere.

In fact, I'm not sure that the people you meet are even aware that they are living in a post-apocalyptic environment. One woman is writing a survival guide (a couple of centuries too late for that, don’t you think?), being genuinely curious about what happens when you step on a mine. Another lady is busy collecting Nuka-cola bottles and giving Nuka-Cola history tours. Makes sense, what else is there to do in a post-apocalyptic world?

Then there’s an android that managed to escape his evil master, get some facial surgery, wipe his memory clean, and started living as a human who doesn’t know he’s a robot. Yes, it’s, uh, complicated. The droid is helped by an organization dedicated to helping androids gain their independence. I'll repeat that. DEDICATED TO HELPING ROBOTS GAIN INDEPENDENCE. In a post-apocalyptic, almost destroyed world. Don't these people have real problems and things to do and worry about? Are their post-apocalyptic lives so empty and boring that they must invent stupid things to do and care about to kill time? Considering that your wasteland shack comes with a brand new, shiny robot-butler - an excellent source of clean water, which in turn is an excellent source of money and positive Karma, maybe these people really don't have anything better to do. That would make a very interesting setting - slowly degrading post-apocalyptic humanity living off the back of robots doing all the work for them, but once again, that's not the Fallout world.

The East Coast “wasteland” is anything but dead and empty – one of many inevitable changes brought by switching the format from a “classic”, isometric RPG focused on exploring through dialogue to a first person, sandbox RPG heavy on the action side. Running into enemies at every step is a traditional sandbox feature. Sticking with Fallout's "dead wasteland" atmosphere would have made traveling in first person unbearably boring. As a result, the "wasteland" seems overcrowded: hungry monsters, trigger-happy raiders, super mutants, and stray, hostile robots of all shapes and sizes are everywhere. Evil-doer hunting Regulators and do-gooder killing Talon mercenaries complete the picture.

The setting’s casual approach to nuclear explosion is especially jarring. You get out of the vault, look at this brave, new world, and someone promptly asks you to detonate a nuclear bomb inside one of the towns. Why? Because it's cool, apparently. Later on you will unavoidably run into a super duper mutant who can only be taken down by a several direct nuclear blasts that, oddly enough, have only a few meters radius and are harmless to people outside this radius. Shooting old rusty cars results in even more nuclear explosions, which makes you wonder if there really was a big War or if a simple car accident caused a chain reaction of exploding nuclear cars across the States.

Prolonged exposure to radiation has added magical properties to clothing. Putting on a dirty, old lab coat instantly increases your scientific knowledge (+10 to Science) until you take it off again. Most hats, including a simple bandana, increase your Perception (+1). Putting on Lincoln's hat imbues you with higher Intelligence and improves your speech. In other words, clothes are your typical magically enchanted fantasy fare.

Towns and locations deserve a special mention. Megaton, the first town you see when you step out of the vault, is basically the only real town in the game. The rest of the humanity is more than happy with 3-5 shack settlements, old hotels, and museums. Nobody does anything and how the hell these people survive remains a mystery. Exploring different towns and different ways of life was one of the most interesting aspects of Fallout, but sadly it’s not present in Fallout 3.

Instead of a consistent and logical world, we get "cool shit". What's cool shit, you ask? An excellent question. Cool shit is whatever stuff random Bethesda designers thought would be cool. To be honest, Fallout 2 was also sporadically guilty of this syndrome, but Fallout 3 takes it to a thoroughly different level.

A town in the crater of an unexploded bomb? - Cool!
A Peter Pan-esque settlement of invincible kids who expel people when they hit 16? - Awesome!
A Lovecraftian Cthulhu-dedicated "Dunwich horror" location - Pretty awesome!
A gang of blood-drinking vampire wannabies - Beyond awesome!
A howling radio DJ keeping the bored populace of the, uh, wasteland informed of your progress - wait, let me check my awesometer... my god, it's over 9000!!!

Overall, it would be easy to write a report worthy of an EU bureaucrat listing all the silly and stupid things Bethesda has shoehorned into Fallout 3. The biggest problem is not so much that it isn’t Fallout, but rather that the setting doesn’t make any sense whatsoever. Bethesda had an opportunity to craft a cohesive “living & breathing” world, but instead chose to build an amusement park with a bit of everything ‘cool’ they could think of. To be fair, some things Bethesda did are brilliant and atmospheric, but they are isolated elements that never form a coherent and consistent world that makes even the most basic sense.....

Ono shto mene zanima (mrzi me da vrshljam po stranim forumima) je shta sve treba da uradim da mi izraste treca ruka. Jel samo treba da nabijem radijaciju preko 500 i da cekam ili sta?

Inace sa tako visokim nivoom radijacije igra pocinje da lici na Far Cry 2 ROFL

Eh da, koja je fora da ja kao lvl 2 mogu da koristim laser gun i upucavam Super Giga Mega Orkove i Kirbi usisivace (igram na hard :trust:). Mislim kad vec ne mogu da furam Power Armor bez treninga kako je moguce da mogu da koristim oruzje koje ranije nigde nisam video (jedino sto sam probao pre toga je BB gun i onaj pistolj).

Edit: Tek sam drugi lvl zato sto nemam puno vremena da se udubljujem u igru i hteo sam da vidim dokle cu da stignem onako tumarajuci bezveze negde oko 2 sata. Nije mi logicno da na drugom lvl-u mogu da naidjem na super mutanta i da ostanem ziv.

Nikada ne citam recenzije ili utiske koje drugi ljudi imaju o filmovima, muzici ili igrama, ako mi se film svidja onda me briga sto svi ostali kazu daje ******. Svi su rekli da je Waterworld ******, uglavnom jer su to culi od drugih, ali meni je bio OK, nisam ocekivao da dobije oskara ili mi promeni zivot vec da me zabavi na dva sata. Kada gledam James-a Bond-a ocekujem da bude ultra glupavih scena tipa iskakanja iz aviona automobilom i prizemljenja sa perfektno urednim smokingom,ili kad odem dok gledam Asterix-a ne ocekujem da je to novi Braveheart. Tako i ovaj put, ako se nekom igra svidja i zabavna mu je ok ako mu se ne svidja opet ok njegovo pravo. Nekako mi ovakvi tekstovi previse deluju kao proglasavanje ili nametanje necijeg misljenja kao jedino ispravnog i tacnog. Iskreno ovakvi tekstovi mi deluju kao delo nekog uber geek-a, koji kuka zato sto mu svet ne deluje realno. Aman, pa ovo je video igra, a ne surogat za realan zivot. Uvek me je hvatala jeza od NME sajta i ljudi koji na njemu pisu i rade, jer mi deluju kao grupa asocijalnih nerdova koji se pod maskama skupljaju po podrumima i kuju zavere za osvetu prema svim "normalnim" likovima koji ih godinama guraju na margine drustva. Sta ce te, kao klinac sam gledao mnogo americkih glupavih teenage komedija. Elem, meni je ova igra bas legla jer napolje je ionako ruzno vreme, pa mora na nesto da se potrosi tih sat i po slobodnog vremena.

Ok, trazio sam po googlu i nisam nasao. Kako do mutacija? Visoka radijacija + lvlovanje i biranje perka? Slucajnost? Quest?
 
ja ne znam niokakvoj mutaciji trece ruke :)

znam samo da dobijesh neki kao bonus perk da ti se crippled limbs leche sami od sebe kada si visoko zatrovan radijacijom, sto se opet desava gotovo nikad :D

Stvarno bezveze a ja se utripovao da moze. Kako se niko od ovih bajnih dizajnera ne seti da uradi neki quest gde se usled duzeg exposinga radijaciji pretvorish u ghoula. Prvo sto bi uradio u tom slucaju bi bilo vracanje u Megaton da platim onoj Novi za usluge :beat:.

Ovde sam prestao da čitam. Ovo je igra, to nije stvarno... U dvojci je bio quest sa duhom, pa šta!?

Odjavljujem se, igra je zabavna onima koji vole igre više nego da piskaraju po forumima kako je sve ******
 
ljudi moze li mi ko rec kako da rijesim ovaj bag sto kad dodjem odmah na rodjendarsku zurku na pocetku ne mogu da se pomjerim....igra mi se ova igra i nisam valjda bacio pare
 
Za razliku od nekih, ja volim da cujem tudje misljenje ili da prenesem svoje. Da nije njih morao bi svako sr4nje da instaliram i vidim sta je :smash:
Fallout nisam probao, a i nisam neki ljubitelj zanra, vec dodjem kao lesinar kad vidim da nesto umire ili u ovom slucaju mutira. Gledam na igre kao i na ostalu umetnost. Spajanjem odredjenih zanrova mozemo dobiti nove oblike... Ali posto ostali vide to kao industriju onda dobijamo sirovine... Verujem da je to slucaj i sa ovom igrom iako je nisam probao. Sve je manje ljudi koji to rade iz ljubavi osim ako nije neki mod, dok su ostali tu zbog para.

Ова игра је у тоталном дисбалансу ако се не игра на hard или very hard. На normal, 80% itema губи смисао и сврху постојања, пошто све гине као у Рамбовим филмовима, таман запуцам кад оно цркну и они на које не пуцам :S:
 
Da li je iko od vas imao ili ima sličan problem? Kada mi se bilo ko u igri obrati ili počne razgovor iz zvučnika umesto speak-e se čuje gadan zvuk, zujanje.... kao pokvareni transformator! Ali Ljudi to nije zujanje nego zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuujanje, mozak probi. Čim se završi onaj dialog box ili kako bi ga već nazvao, sve se vraća u normalu i igra ide normalno. Da napomenem nije do ffdshow-a, uredno je podesen.
Imali smo sličan problem adzo89 i ja sam ga rešio na sl. način. prvo sam instalirao K-lite kodec, potom igru, zatim sam je patch-ovao, mislim da je 1.0.0.15 (ne verujem da je drugi patch izašao), i pokrenuo sam je na fallout3.exe ali sam prethodno i launcher.exe i fallout3.exe podesio da se pokrecu kao kompatibilni za win98 i milenijum. Nakon toga igra je laganini krenula i do sada nije bilo problema sem gore opisanog!
 
Ja sam toliko istražio mapu, medjutim, kad sam uzeo explorer perk, tek onda videh koliko još mesta za obilazak ima. Preporučujem Deathclaw sancturay :-devil-:

najbolje da sam trazio bobblehead u falloutu

Da li se neprijatelji respawnuju ili ne? Meni su se neki Raideri jednom respawnovali.

I mogli biste da napishete neke korisne sugestije tipa koje oruzje je najbolje koristiti za eliminaciju tog i tog tipa protivnika. Provalicu i sam ali bi bilo lepo da neko napishe zbog drugih sto pocinju posto nije spoiler u pitanju.
 
Respawnuju se, ali ponekad i ne svuda...recimo juce sam se vratio u muzej koji sam ocistio pre nekog vremena i nije bilo nikoga...osim mrtvih mutanata.

Po meni, najbolja oruzja: Combat Shotgun za blizinu (za Ghoule narocito, najcesce ih ubija iz prve), Flamer za skorpije, Hunting rifle za Raidere i one debele pcele, scoped 44.magnum za Supermutante (iz sneaka), Snajper za daljinu (za sve na dve noge), MiniNuke/Missile launcher za Supermutant Behemote, i pulse grenade/mine za robote.
Zatim i bottlecap mine, instant kill u pocetku makar...

Assault rifle, Minigun i laser/plazma oruzja...cisto zezanja radi isprobam...Minigun sam dao svom saborcu (StarPaladin Alex) i ona je efikasnija s tim cudom od mene :D

Kao nagrada za dobro resen kvest u Rivet City-ju (potrega za comonvelth androidom) dobija se Plasma puca (ili bese laser rifle) koja je do sad najbolja energetska prangija, al mi ne pruza zabavu :p
Sad imam i Lincoln's Repeater pusku (.44 magnum) on otkida sve...

brate minli ti kao da nisi ni igrao fallout 1 i 2... kec toga nema, u dvojci ima ... ali opet to su mizerne stvari u odnosu na vecinu drugih kvestova i na celu prichu... ovde je svaki kvest pishljivi ROFLMAO

nego ako upucate 3d-a radio i dalje nastavlja da radi i da pljuje po vama :p

Istina...moze i tako.Svaki duel sa na primer behemotom se moze preci na foru, posto imaju ograniceno kretanje (ne mogu da te jure po mapi lol), nego kljucaj iz daljine dok ne crkne...

Ceo taj deo Vasingtona je pretrpan tim "istorijskim" artefaktima i kvestovima koji se bave "slobodom", "nezavisnoscu", "tolerancijom" i sl...fin nacin da se uci USA istorija...nesto na foru poput onog ogavnih National Treasure filmova, da se zna da je cika Lincoln bio ovo, pa onda DekLEMacija nezavisnosti, i tako to :p
No dobro, bar ne sprecavaju da se igra kao zlica:-devil-:

Btw, kako je doplovio nosac aviona (Rivet City) do Vasingtona? :D

Ne, pokushaj humora je ono Bethesda Ruins (Glowing One mora da je Tod Howard licno). Linkolnova puska je tu zbog americkog patriotizma.

Kad budes nasao Lincoln's Memorial (tj kad budes u tom delu mape), dobices kvest od slaver-a koji su tu...A puska i Lincoln artefakti su u "museum of history" btw...
Pusku ne moras da prodajes ni slaver-ima niti robovima, njima mozes prodati ostale artefakte tako da..:)
 
Jel ima neko problem sa podesavanjem rezolucije? Nemogu da namestim 1680x1050. Probao sam sve moguce kombinacije. Stiklirao sam show all resolutions, stavljao 16:10 i 16:9. ma nece! Kako god da okrenem maximalna rezolucija je 1280x1024! Ima li neko resenja?
