AMD je izjavio kako je sa 6000 serijom implementiran novi AF algoritam za filtriranje. No izgleda da to nije bas istina, te da je shimmering i dalje prisutan:

However, the problem we showed with the HD 5000's anisotropic filtering here remains on the HD 6000 series. The shimmering issue is only visible in motion, so a screenshot can't demonstrate the problem. To reproduce the effect, load texture2.dds from the program install directory, and configure the settings as follows - Texture movement Y = -0.3; Max Anisotropy 16x; LOD Bias 0.0; Texture Scale 1.0x; Texture Movement X 0. We've outlined the areas where if you try this for yourself, you might see the issue as well:
AMD are aware of the issue and are looking in to it. Our NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 did not demonstrate this issue, with the image looking identical to the ALU perfect implementation of this test.
