Before you jump up and down about the chances of an XBox 720 under the summer “School’s Out Tree”, these chips are NOT destined for production consoles. You will not get one unless you are in line for a dev kit, or know someone at Microsoft with a penchant for handing out top secret keychains.
This batch, huge though it is, will make the silicon for the initial run of dev kits, and then some. Given the order size, MS seems to be taking no chances on quantity, even Nvidia level yields should provide enough dev kits to go around, so don’t fret if you are in line for one. There will almost assuredly be several revs of Oban before silicon is finalized, that is just the way things are done. The first few of these chips should be coming out of the oven in late February barring any unforeseen problems, so dev kits with real silicon are likely for March, earlier if you are really important.
Nece biti razloga dok se konzola ne pojavi pa jos + jedno godinu dana da se pojave prve igre koje do maximuma koriste tu grafu.. a dotle ce se takve grafe i njeni ekvivalenti prodavati za saku kikirikija 😛
Mislim da ce Sony da ostavi Cell (eventualno ce da smanji proizvoljni proces), ubacice jos rama i noviju grafiku...

Cell sigurno neće biti u novom xbox-u, a ja sudim da neće biti ni u novom ps-u. Jednostavno cell baš i nije odradio posao u ovoj generaciji. Jednostavno tehnički nisu pobedili x360, a daleko je skuplji za proizvodnju.
Sto je i dalje odlican rezultat, buduci da nema igara i da su troskovi proizvodnje smesni 🙂.Pa zato što su u 2011. zabeležili novi negativni rekord prodaje koji iznosi oko 5 miliona primeraka. Ne samo što se Wii mršavo prodaje nego je 3DS totalni promašaj.

Da je ko sto neko rece MS prodao 16, a Sony 5.5 miliona konzola u 2011., ukupna razlika u prodaji izmedju te dve konzole bi bila 15-tak miliona, a ne samo 3 miliona kao sto jeste trenutno - 64:61.
