Nameravam da uzmem fixnu IP adresu, da li savetujete korišćenje nekog VPN-a ili nema potrebe za time.
 
Pitanje u vezi cross seed. Da li je dozvoljen na privatnim trakerima? Nigde ne nalazim info na FL, TL, IPT, itd u vezi ovoga. Dodao sam čisto da probam fajl i nekad mi prikaže da Cannot be merged because its private tor... a nekada odradi checking i doda novi taj fajl ali sa tog novog trakera i seed ide.
Da li je ovo ok i po pravilima i zašto samo ne doda traker u postojeći torent?
Edit nasao sam onda je ok ako je dva puta u klijentu

First and foremost, never ever, never ever, NEVER, mess with the announce URL's. DON'T. The reason follows: If you upload 10GB to tracker A and 10GB to tracker B, both will see it as you uploaded 20GB. Yes, this is ratio cheating and it is very easy to detect.
Secondly, always make sure the torrent is listed in the client twice, as such:

Otherwise you, our your client, combined the announce url's, and... yea. It is very important it is listed once per tracker.

U toj temi se vise diskutije o cloud serverima za skidanje, mene više interesuje nešto što može da se koristi lokalno. Da ne košta mnogo, da ne trosi mnogo struje i da se čuje što manje.

Da li neko od vas (a ima vas sigurno) seeduje sa externih hdd-ova?
Imam neki dell optiplex 3050 sa I5 7500t, 8gb rama i 640GB hardom unutra, medjutim malo mi je to prostora e sad, razmisljao sam se da dodam externe hardove, pa rekoh da se raspitam da li je to izvodljivo? Ja ne vidim neki problem ali cisto da se raspitam kod ljudi sa vise iskustva? I kasnije eventualno skaliranje tj dodavanje prostora ako bude potrebe ?

Neki brandname mini pc, kao ovo sto ja imam. Sad sam bacio pogled na KP, imas ih za od 70 pa do 120e, izbor je solidan. Jedini problem je prostor, ako planiras da prosirujes, moraces eksterno ali zgodni su jer su mali, kada podesis power plan u windowsu na power saver i iskljucis da gasi hdd i da ide u sleep, na ovom mom ventilatori ne rade i setovan je da throttluje pre nego sto se vent aktiviraju. S obzirom da mu je jedina funkcija VPN i qbittorrent, to se nikada ni ne desava i jedva da je mlak na dodir.
 
zasto bi to radio? komp ti radi 24 h a bogami danas ni struja nije jeftina. Da nepricam o zagrevanju komponenti kompletne masinee externih hdd...
Jednostavno uzmi seedbox i kraj price. imas ih povoljne vrlo u danasnje vreme.
 
Da li je potrebno otvarati drugi port za npr. qbittorrent ako sam otvorio port za utorrent. Da oba rade u isto vreme.
 
Jednu seriju sa domaćeg torrent sajta sam počeo da skidam pre neki dan i to skidanje se posle pola sata prekinulo pošto su se svi sideri isključili. Skinuo sam oko 40% serije. Par dana nije bilo sidera uopšte da bi jutros utorrent počeo da skida od sidera koji je skinuo 2% i tako je malo po malo skinuo celu seriju. Jasno mi je da je on video nekog sidera i meni delio ono što je skinuo. Nije mi jasno kako je to moguće.
 
Prelazak sa qbit(win10) na qbit(truenas scale). Neki torenti odrade recheck i nastave seed korektno neki ne. Da li preimenovanje foldera utiče na ovo i kako da rešim ovaj problem?
 
Da, a i samog naziva fajla. Ranije sam to složio po SxxExx i naziv. U windozi je bar lako, ali ne mogu da skapiram kako to ovde sa odradim. Import, set location, recheck ništa. Preimenujem i fajl i folder i u qbitorentu Content file(hard link) i opet ništa samo odradi na brzaka recheck i krene da skida ponovo.

Pre nekih mesec dana sam (ne znam ni sam zašto) kupio sebi Mac.
I dalje skidam na Windowsu sa qBittorrent, ali sta bi ste preporučili za MacOS?

Libtorrent 1.2.x users who stuck with it due to memory usage issues, you might want to try the libtorrent 2.0.x variant and change the disk IO type to the new option "Simple pread/pwrite".
Memory usage issues should be eliminated with it.
