PS3 Gets First Cross-Platform Gameplay with Syberia 3

Microïds, the owner of the Syberia franchise, has just announced the production of a new episode in the adventures of Kate Walker, Syberia 3, on the PlayStation 3 console and PC. Securing another console exclusive for the PlayStation 3.

Syberia 3 actually allows those playing on PC and those playing on PS3 to collaborate online, thanks to a simultaneous data exchange and sharing mode on the two platforms. This means that the PlayStation 3 is the first console to allow cross-platform online gameplay.

Syberia 3 will be entirely in real time 3D with its "point & click" gameplay and will be released on PS3 and PC in June 2010.

Lol , nisam ni gledao komentare na tom forumu gde sam nasao vest 🙂 ... a video sam da je tema otvorena treceg aprila , pa sam mislio da su vec odustali od april foolsa 😀

Syberia III is to be released in June 2010 for PC, and possibly PlayStation 3.
".....Syberia would be one of the series of games to be released in the "Ultimate Adventures" tri-packs.
The first press release also mentions that Kate Walker will meet an investigator named Victoria McPherson. FBI agent McPherson is the female lead character of another of Microïds' series of games, Still Life and Still Life 2."
