Previous there is rumor that NVIDIA will get into CPU field,and in the CES 2011,NVIDIA confirmed it and announces to build high-performance ARM based CPU cores.
Current Tegra SoC introduced by NVIDIA adopts ARM architecture,the processor core is authorized form ARM,while only graphics core is developed by NVIDIA.
Project Denver will be CPU which is compatible with ARM and are designed to support future products ranging from personal computers and servers to workstations and supercomputers,whose architecture is completely developed by NVIDIA.
The new processor will support a series operating system,such as Android,iOS and the like.
