Pozdrav ljudi.

Dali neko možda ima informaciju dali će da bude uopšte nastavka Gothica ili eventualno Risena?

Ili neće biti ni jedno od ta dva?

Ipak su mi ti serijali RPG-a nekako najinteresantniji.

Ja bi zaista voleo, jer mi je to ubedljivo najdrazi i najzanimljiviji RPG, ali nista zivo nisam cuo...
nadam se da ce izaci negde 2015, pretpostavljam i za ove nove konzole...

Nordic games jeste otkupio prava, medjutim, posto su se Piranha bytes, kreatori prva tri Gothica, koji su i sami pod vlasnistvom Nordica, odlucili da nastave Risen fransizu, sumnjam da cemo docekati jos jednu Gothci igru, bar ne u skorije vreme. Sto se tice treceg Risena, trebalo bi da se zove "Blazing Oceans" i po svemu sudeci, na igri se vec radi...

To je već prava informacija, a sudeći po naslovu biće opet nešto u gusarskom maniru.

Kako god vredeće da se odigra iako sam ja više za Gothic svet a nakon, bar po meni, razočaravajuće četvorke šta god da izbace bilo bi dobro.

While there are still no real informations about the news project of Piranha Bytes, the German magazine PC Games managed to wrangle a short comment out of project lead Björn Pankratz during the German Developer Awards ceremony.

While he insisted that he could not reveal anything about the game itself and that this would not change for at least this year, he mentioned that they were planning on a much darker atmosphere. He also claimed that they wanted to go "back to the roots". But where - beyond the already mentioned darkness - he sees those roots remains a mystery for now.

For those who are not familiar with the recent history of the studio: After the less than masterful Gothic 3, PB also claimed to return to their roots. Which lead to Risen 1, a game that was mostly accepted by the community and gained two gold awards from the BIU (100,000 sales over a period in 12 months in Germany). Although it had room for improvement, most fans felt that the Piranhas were more or less heading in the right direction again.

The successor, Risen 2, had problems with the established community and apparently, also with the commercial success. Although magazine like the aforementioned PC Games rated it on par with Gothic 1 and Risen 1, many fans felt it fell short. And it did not gain any sales awards either.

So there seems to be still some hope left for those who prefer the old PB style. Assuming that PB successfully identifies what their "roots" really are and return to them with a little less fleeting conviction than last time.

Piranha Bytes se manje vise raspao, kljucni ljudi su napustili tim u poslednjih par godina, tako da to svakako vise nece biti to.
Risen 2 je vec korak unazad u odnosu na Risen 1, tako da cak i ako izadje novi Gothic to nece biti to, obzirom da ga rade potpuno drugi ljudi.
 
Oni su krenuli da se raspadaju vec posle G2, sto se moglo i videti na G3. Ali nikad se ne zna... mozda im se ponovo sklope kockice.
 
Po meni je Gothic 2 nezamenjiv. Da je malo bolja grafika odigrao bi ga i po treći put 😀

Možda bi to bio pravi pogodak, da kopiraju dosta toga iz dvojke u kombinaciji sa današnjom grafikom...
 
...treba puno maste, ideja i rada da bi se napravila igra kao G2. Za skoro svaki problem u igri pravili su vise razlicitih nacina da se on resi, pa su uklapali razlicite posledice zavisno od nacina resavanja tog problema.
Samo kod ulaska u Korinis imali smo nekoliko nacina da prodjemo pored strazara i posle u gradu posledice vezane za taj nacin koji smo izabrali... Kao kada sam nasao onog lika na klupi koji mi moze pomoci da udjem u grad ako mu prenesem neko pismo, reko odlicno, lako prolazim strazara, ali posle u gradu mi nije bilo svejedno kada je trazio protivuslugu... igra krece u nekom drugom pravcu...

Risen 2 jeste bio korak unazad u odnosu na prvi deo, medjutim, gledajuci kakvim smo sve krsevima preplavljeni u zadnje vreme, ipak moze da se smatra iznad prosecnom igrom, koja je bila pravo malo osvezenje u 2012. 🙂

With respect, ne bih se slozio. Risen 2 nikako nije korak unazad. Ja to vidim ovako, Risen 1 i Gothic I su mi tu negdje (ogranicena mapa, upoznavanje sa pricom itd.) Gothic II je masterpiece (naj atmosfera ikad), Risen 2 to nastavlja, s tim da jeste gruba igra i ima bagova, ali (mozda sam subjektivan) to bas daje cari igranja... Ukratko piratska atmosfera u drugom Risenu je odlicna.
 
Po meni, Risen 2 nije tako loš pokušaj da se razvije RPG u Piratkom svetu, ali dal zbog navike uz taj žanr mi više ide mač i magija nego kubura i vudu.

Mada to je moje mišljenje i zbog toga bi mi bilo draže kada bi nastavili sa Gothic-om, eventualno u maniru Risen 1.
 
Gothic 1, 2, Risen 1 su u istom 'sablonu'... interakcija sa svim i svacim, dijalog, multilinearni kvestovi, frakcije, reputacija....
Risen 2 pati valjda zbog ogranicenog endzina. Nevidljivi zidovi, ogranicena interakcija, nema vise planinarenja, jedino na skriptovanim mestima, pa je utisak slobode iz prethodnika manji. Ali R2, po meni, ima i svoje prednosti, pogotovo u nekim skilovima, novinama kao sto su kubure i vudu meni su odlicno legle... manipulacija vudu lutkicom, pravo osvezenje... speech skilovi isto....

Mada kubure i kremenjace bi bile jos zanimljivije da su ubacili animaciju punjenja, a ne onaj krug... moglo je to dosta bolje, imo.... plivanje i ronjanje, planinarenje, vise frakcija, upravljanje brodom, tj. skil jedrenje da su ubacili...

To što si naveo može da im bude ideja za Risen 3.
 
Meni ove zadnje izjave iz intervjua sa Bjornom dobro zvuce... nadam se da nije samo marketing kako neki predvidjaju.
Vracaju se korenima moze da znaci da igru prave u nekom od starijih engina, kao iz R1 ili G3, gde cemo moci opet koristiti ruke za penjanje, i sa vecom interakcijom sa predmetima... A ovo o mracnijoj i tezoj atmosferi meni nikad dosta 😀. Kao npr. sume i grobnice iza Onarove farme, u manastiru neki delovi, grobnica kod portala za Jharkendar, prvi susret sa kanalizacijama ispod Korinisa, delovi VoM-a, itd.

Kako bi ovo bilo fenomenalno staro okruženje u novom enginu....:eyebrows:

A kad spomenu grobnicu iza Onarove farme, oni kosturi su mi dušu uzeli. Namučio sam se ali sam zato bio uporan :d

Novi deo bi bio pravi pogodak kada bi imao istu težinu jer bezveze mi je ovo samo ideš i klikćeš, i da ima malo veću mapu a ne kao u Skyrimu nema kraja pa brza putovanja po mapi to mi nije to...

Ali mi sve više čini da su veće šanse za novi Risen i to u piratskom maniru nego novi Gothic. Ali živi bili pa videli.

Combat system:

There will be a prologue during which you can experiment with higher abilities. After that, you continue on level 1.
Blocks work against monsters.
At the beginning, you already have an evasion somersault and short range teleport to escape combat.
Big armours and swords as well as firefalls and lightning strikes.
Voodoo magic will probably also be available.
Unconscious enemies can be plundered.
The will be party members again who will help you in combat
Combat system with four different actions and rudimentary combos.



Gameplay/Story:

DLCs will offer more content.
Roasting meat etc. will happen in a separate window again.
Gameworld: Primarily middle european but also mediterranean and tropical regions.
The world is modelled by hand.
Swimming will be possible.
Seperate loading zones like in R2. No free roaming with out loading screens.
Several factions (probably three) from which to choose.
Already known are the “guardians” which resemble the paladins from older games.
New enemy: The shadows (undead which rise from skull caves).
At the beginning of the game, the main character’s soul will be devoured by a might shadow lord.
After that, he will have a soul value which can develop either towards human or demonic.
New hero, the character from previous Risen games will still play a starring role however.
Food will still be swapped to “provisions”.




Technical:

Once again forced Steam and no modding tools.
Game will be developed for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC - no mention of next gen consoles.
Engine will be the same as in Risen 2 with some polished graphics - but the problems of the old engine (like the stiff character animations during dialogues) are still present and do not seem up to date compared to competing titles like Dragon Age: Inquisition or The Witcher 3.

Neke stvari dobro zvuče, neke baš i ne... Šteta što i dalje isti engine koriste, i što igru za ipak stare konzole prave. Taj spominje odvojene zone koje se zasebno učitavaju, ne open world u jednom "komadu" kao u Risen kecu.
Evo par stvari koje sam ja našao:
PB: It's definitely much darker than our game before.

How do PB define "dark" nowadays?

PB: There are several things I would define as dark. For example in Risen 2 there's this kind of caribbean feeling. A lot of palms, bright sun a.s.o - not very dark So in conclusion the environment has a major role when it comes to a darker setting. Different NPCs do also take their part. Not every person should be friendly towards the player. Furthermore the story itself. If your plot is the search for bubblegum forest it's hard to convey a feeling of a dark setting.

My personal opinion is that we have several things which make our game good. For example playing to our strengths. What do our fans expect and what can we do, to deliver a great gaming experience. We noticed that there were some discussions about the changes we made in Risen 2. So within our new game we tried an approach which Björn called "back to the roots" and for me it works fine [​IMG]. I can't go into detail which adjustments are within our game but let's not drop the question. I guess in the near future there's a lot more to say about our vision of back to the roots. But let me say that a living world with a lot to explore plays a part within this vision.
Rivers: Yes.
Forest: Yes.
Underground tunnels: sort of...
