ISDN, par pitanja

Pozdrav,

Otac je resio da mi uvede ISDN (potpisao vec ugovor) bez moje saglasnosti samo da bih malo oslobodio telefonsku liniju, pa imam par pocetnickih pitanja 🙂

Inace planiram da koristim samo jedan kanal.

Koristio sam search, ali su mi potrebne jos neke informacije, cisto da znam sta me ceka:

1) Da li moram da kupujem novi modem da bih koristio ISDN. Ili ce mi ljudi iz telekoma prosto staviti neki adapter na prikljucak, pa cu internet koristiti kao i ranije (imam jedan kabal koji ide od zida do kompa)? Da li je potrebno da trazim jos nesto od njih, da mi posebno ugrade, prodaju...

2) Mogu li i dalje koristiti "analogne" sate kod raznih provajdera (pa i 041 ako zatreba), ili moram da se vezem za nekog provajdera, i da uplatim posebnu uslugu za ISDN?

3) Kako se "konektuje" preko ISDN linije. Da li moram kao kod GPRS-a da pravim razne akrobacije, ili je postupak isti kao i kod obicne linije?

4) Nesto sam cuo da ISDN ima mogucnost da nakon zavrsetka prenosa podataka prekine vezu, i da se nakon ponovnog zahteva veza automatski uspostavlja, i tako stede impulsi. Da li je ovo tacno?

Uglavnom, ovo mi i nije trebalo (jer ce ADSL uskoro da dodje i do mene), ali sta da se radi 🙁

1. Dobićeš od pošte eksterni modem koji se kači na USB.

2. Kod skoro svih možeš ali kod nekih provajdera kada si povezan preko isdn vreme brže prolazi, 1 sat dialup=0,5 sati isdn. Najbolje da proveriš na sajtu svog provajdera da li isdn računaju skuplje.

3. potpuno isto kao kod obične linije samo što je gotovo trenutno povezivanje.

4. Jeste, možeš da podesiš posle koliko minuta neaktivnosti će da se skine sa veze ali to nije karakteristika samo isdn-a već i običnog povezivanja, to može da se podesi windowsu. Ali bolje je da to radiš ručno jer se više štedi ali ipak podesi i da se automatski skida sa veze samo radi sigurnosti ako slučajno zaboraviš da se diskonektuješ.

isdn je kvantni skok u odnosu na neki drndavu analognu liniju koja izvlaci 3kb/s... cak i ako koristite samo jedan kanal (onda kod providera isto kostaju sati...), imate minimum 7kb/s...

Pazi ovako, ja imam ISDN, kacim se preko euneta, i mogu ti reci da su ranije naplacivali bilo da koristis jedan ili oba kanala 1.5 koeficijent vremena, medjutim lihvari su poceli da mi naplacuju za svaki kanal punu cenu, dakle koeficijent 1.0 ali mi, kada se kacim sa oba kanala sve to ide duplo, pa cak i tel impulsi!
041 brojeve ja niako nisam mogao da biram, jednostavno nije predvidjeno isdn vezom... Da li je u pitanju isdn modem ili nesto drugo sto me odaje ne znam...

Proverite ovu adresu: http://vdial.verat.net/srp/_vdial_cenovnik/ posto pise da korisnici koji pristupaju Internetu preko ISDN linije, plaćaju istu cenu kao i korisnici analognog modema, mozda ce te imati srece da vam vise ne naplacuju duple tarife.

Posto i ja razmisljam o prelasku na ISDN sam obratio paznju na ovu klauzulu. Ako neko sazna nesto vise o ovome preko verata neka doda komentar

Na EUnet-u radi 042110000 bez problema.
A sto se tice "modema" juce sam probao FRITZ usb i odlican je. Software koji se dobija uz njega je vise nego dobar

FRITZ!web: Internet Sharing
FRITZ!web can be configured as a shared Internet access for an existing network. This option is activated on the ”Internet” settings page.
Sharing the Internet connection requires that IP addresses and DNS servers be configured on both the FRITZ!web computer (gateway) and the LAN PCs.
Instructions for the various operating systems are presented in the Online Help.
FRITZ!web: Traffic-Shaping
In the background, FRITZ!web takes care of automatic traffic shaping to optimize data throughput for uploads and downloads during ISDN connections. This function is especially effective when Internet sharing is active.
FRITZ!web: Port Sharing
The previous version of FRITZ!web’s integrated firewall prevented all incoming hostile connections and protected the PC from portscan attacks from the Internet. Starting with this version, FRITZ!web allows specific ports to be shared for incoming connections to allow the use of services such as file sharing, online games and Net Meeting. We recommend accepting the example application entries.
FRITZ!web: Switch Provider when ”Busy”
When the line is busy, FRITZ!web automatically dials another Internet Service Provider configured on your system. To activate the function “Switch Provider” please go to the Advanced Settings tab in the Edit connection menu.
FRITZ!fax: Faxing with 2 B Channels
FRITZ!fax can now use both B channels to send or receive fax documents: the status display for the second channel is activated using the appropriate icon in the toolbar.
Fax transmission and reception can be activated for each B channel separately (green/blue arrow in the status area).
Multiple faxes to the same remote site are sent consecutively using the same B channel.
Attention: If problems arise during 2-channel operation, the performance of your PC may be insufficient. In this case the second B channel should not be activated for FRITZ!fax.
FRITZ!fax: Preview for Incoming and Outgoing Transmissions
In the status display a (small) window can be opened to preview the fax documents currently being transmitted.
• This display requires computing capacity on your PC.
• The preview is deactivated for color fax documents.
FRITZ!fax: Fax64 and JBIG Compression
The CAPI drivers from version 3.11.01 onward make it possible to implement these features, both of which significantly accelerate fax transmission.
JBIG is a lossless compression standard for black-and-white documents and has already been implemented in many (office) fax machines. The degree of compression is independent of the document structure. JBIG is negotiated when a connection is established.
Fax64 between FRITZ!Cards is possible with the latest driver software. When the connection is negotiated successfully, the fax document is transmitted at a rate of 64,000 bit/s.
As soon as suitable drivers are available, JBIG/Fax 64 will also be available for the entire AVM product range, including active controllers as well as DSL and Bluetooth products.
FRITZ!fax: Fax Documents in JPG Format
Starting with this version, any file format desired may be selected for the ”Save...” command in the Journal.
The JPG format can be used for all faxes forwarded by e-mail. Because JPG is not a black-and-white format, the corresponding files are often larger than in the faxes saved in the SFF or TIF formats.
FRITZ!fon: Call Forwarding and Diversion via the Second B Channel
The previous implementation of Call Forwarding (CFU) in FRITZ!Fon required a compatible ISDN Line. This service remains available.
The new implementation of Call Diversion via the Second B Channel available in this Release of FRITZ!Fon can be used directly in the PC.
Note: The use of a second B Channel incurs charges.
Call Diversion can be restricted to specific numbers and allows to make use of the “Best Friend” rates provided by some mobile phone networks.
FRITZ!config
The FRITZ!config module can be used to configure global parameters like MSN assignments and file paths for the different FRITZ! programs.
Additionally FRITZ!config can retrieve your ISDN line's MSNs directly from the exchange. (”Numbers available on this ISDN line / Load”). This function can only be carried out directly at the S0 bus, without a PBX interposed.
Wizards
Two new wizards are available in this version. For FRITZ!web and FRITZ!fax, the wizard is an simplified interface to include only the basic functions. These wizards can be opened and closed at any time using menu commands.
