The HTC One S performance in our audio quality test came as a really pleasant surprise to us. It appears that the Beats influence hasn't been limited to a single equalizer preset this time as the smartphone delivers the cleanest output we have seen from any device so far.

When connected to an active external amplifier, the HTC One S audio is simply flawless - volume levels are a little above average and it got excellent scores on every part of our test.

What's most impressive though is the One S retains virtually the same performance when you plug in a pair of headphones. The stereo crosstalk takes the tiniest dip of any smartphone we've seen so far, while the rest of the readings are either totally unaffected or worsen by an undetectable amount. Volume levels remain the same too, so it's arguably the most impressive overall performance to date.

The HTC One S is one of the most impressive mobile phones we've handled recently - both in terms of hardware and software.

The slim metal unibody (with either ceramic or anodized finish) is brilliant, HTC have outdone themselves here - and that's easily said than done. The 4.3" qHD Super AMOLED screen is a welcome change from the LCD-only lineup HTC had for a while. They've done much to improve the photo quality and add advanced features to the camera too.

The Snapdragon S4 chipset with two powerful Krait cores and Adreno 225 graphics bested all current smartphones and will readily stand up to upcoming phones too - yes, even its quad-core sibling, the One X (and probably the rest of the quad-core phones that use Tegra 3).

Okay, some things about the HTC One S aren't quite perfect - we would have preferred a Super AMOLED Plus screen, non-expandable memory would be a deal breaker for some (though 90% of people should be fine with 16GB of storage) and the problem with framing videos seems like an annoying oversight.

It's a shame the One S doesn't come with a Beats headset either, but the sound enhancement alone will keep most people happy.

One of the few phones that can pull attention away from the One S is its bigger brother - the One X. Some would prefer the 4.7" 720p Super IPS LCD screen (with a full set of subpixels) and the extra storage room. The polycarbonate unibody is impressive in its own right.

And if you're not sure the quad-core Tegra 3 chipset is for you (don't get us wrong, it's pretty awesome) you can wait a while for the HTC One XL - it's like a One S in a One X body - that includes the screen. Oh, and there's LTE too.

Mene vise mraci to sto cu izgleda morati da biram izmedju One S i RAZR Maxx.. motorola ima ludacku bateriju i autonomiju al opet ima moto blur :d i losiju kameru i audio kvalitet ali gura 2 dana ludacke upotrebe.. dok htc ima bolju kameru i audio kvalitet ali se gasi za 24h.. Ali i dalje zbog super amoleda dere ostale u klasi. Tj ne dere ih ali mora imati malo bolju autonomiju zbog samoleda..

Ma emix nije los razr maxx, aj kamera je prosek, brine me jedino audio kvalitet.. baterija vadi taj fon.

Steta sto nema super amoled + displej a da ne pricam od 720p.. Potencijalni problem moze da bude samo 10Gb memorije, toliko je navodno dostupno korisniku od 16Gb:smash: A nema micro sd slot..

Izgleda se samo onaj crni model guli :d a ja bih bas taj uzeo..

Ali u svakom slucaju model vredan paznje jer..
Battery life is amazing. The smaller 1650mAh unit inside the One S completely thrashed the HTC One X in terms of uptime, easily sailing through a day of serious use. It’s not just a bit better, it’s two or three times better. It’s a big win for Qualcomm’s S4 over the One X’s Tegra 3 internals and the smaller AMOLED display.

I perfektan audio kvalitet :)

Od svih mana nekako mi najvise smeta mala interna memorija bez mogucnosti prosirenja. Znam da ima neku foru sa besplatnim servisom za onlajn storage ako se ne varam ali.. ja i ne znam sta je to :d i deluje mi nekako ''neopipljivo'' :d

To sto se crna boja guli uopste nije kul ali ja cu fon ionako odmah da strpam u neko kuciste, ali mozda i tu moze da se osteti :d

Sta oni rade? Da li neko uopste testira ovo pre nego pusti u prodaju? Da li su svesni kakav je ovo fail? I ko ce pored poznatog problema da kupi crni model ili one s uopste?

Uporno pokusavam da "zavolim" htc ali sami idu protiv sebe.
Od kad znam za htc sve neki problemi. Baterije, lako grebanje sociva i kucista, prasina ispod ekrana, resetovanje, slabe kamere, uzasan kvalitet zvuka...
Od Sensationa sve je krenulo nizbrdo i nikako da krene na bolje...

Koja srednja klasa, telefon košta 500 evra u evropi kod nas ko zna koliko će da bude. :)
 
Izvini ali ovo je sada srednja klasa! Ne gledaj koliko kosta. Naravno da ne vredi toliko ali dual core, 8mpx, ne hd ekran... je srednja klasa.
 
Ispada da je samo quad-core + 12Mpx + HD ekran visa klasa... Ne slazem se. Po mom misljenju Galaxy S+ je srednja klasa, ili Xperia Neo, ili Desire S. Dakle, vrlo jaki single-core telefoni (ili slabiji dual-core-ovi, tipa moj Optimis 2X) sa pristojnim kamerama i oko 4" ekranima, dok su ARM6 procesori, tj. telefoni s njima, kamerama od 3Mpx bez blica i slicnim karakteristikama niza klasa.

IP4,Galaxy S2,Sensation,Sensation XL,Note,Nexus,One serija,Xperia S,Razr,LG Optimus 2X pa mozda i Arc S,N8 su za mene top klasa,..ovo @mironiko naveo je srednja klasa...
One X jeste Flagship ali je i One S top klasa po meni...ali opet sve je to relativno i zavisi od dubine necijeg dzepa.
 
Ne bi me cudilo da je i ovo deo marketinga :d
 
Glupost, ne verujem. Ovo je samo veliki fail a sada se kao izvlace samo mala kolicina je takva, aha... pricam ti pricu.
 
Videcemo sta ce biti ali je sigurno da za par meseci nece stizati felericni One S :)
 
Ako se plašite ovog guljenja, kupite telefon u drugoj boji, ona nema taj problem jer ni nema ceramic coating.
 
Pa meni je samo crni one s do 00 :D Syvarno sumnjam da problem brzo nece biti otklonjen ;)
 
I dalje mi ne ide u glavu da nema slot za memorijsku, totalna budalastina :smash:
 
Sudeci po rezultatima, One S ima autonomiju tu negde kao Wave na badi 1.2, malo kracu za razgovore i malo duzu u reprodukciji videa sto je meni vise nego dovoljno, samo me cudi ovako los rezultat pri surfovanju..

Korektno za ovaj kapacitet baterije, super amoled je zasluzan za ovo. Steta sto ovaj telefon nema bar 2000mAh bateriju..

Ali zato RAZR Maxx rasprema:smoke:
