Red 5 Studios has announced its first title, a team-based action shooter called Firefall. The game is large-scale, open world, and allows for hundreds of players on the same battlefield. Firefall is due for release at the end of 2011; and the Red 5 Studios team includes the team lead of World of Warcraft and the lead designer of Tribes. Beta applications for the game are now being accepted.

Firefall will also have a rich competitive multiplayer component incorporating built-in features such as clan support, ladders, tournaments and stats.

Firefall paints a beautifully devastating vision of Earth, 200 years in the future. The promise of a new clean energy source, Crystite, leads to the disastrous arrival of the Melding, a hostile energy storm that engulfs most of our home planet. Earth’s surviving humans must band together in the eye of the Melding storm to save our species. Unfortunately, a new danger emerges as a bloodthirsty race known as The Chosen threatens humanity’s survival.

Players will protect the Earth through the use of high-tech battleframes, which can be customized extensively to unlock the power of Firefall’s class-based combat. Battleframes allow players to specialize in their favorite style of play, while giving them the flexibility to swap and trade their way to new configurations on-the-fly. Whether you enjoy supporting your team, aggressively assaulting an enemy position, or sneaking behind enemy lines, there is a battleframe for you.

Firefall will feature a free-to-play model that allows players to experience every detail of the vibrant world without having to pay a penny. Updates to the game, dynamic world events, and other content will also be offered without a price tag, while a marketplace will allow fans to purchase optional enhancements.

Q: How do you plan to make money?

A: We plan to offer a marketplace for Firefall that will offer players items to enhance their gaming experience. We are adamantly against selling anything that might compromise the skill-based aspect of the game.

Ih, za godinu i po' dana... Daleko je to...
 
Sada je prijava za betu, koliko sam video dovoljna je registracija na forumu.

Tek sam sad stigao da vidim ceo Cinematic i Gameplay. Cinematic je u SC fazonu, a treba videti i gameplay 5:00-7:00. :)

Jel igra neko ovo, ja dobio betu, igra je stvarno dobra, podseca malo na tf2, nik u igri chesrb, moze se upadati u squad, ima raznih opcija, tacnije mnogih, ubacite je u steam pa da pikamo, ima nas nekoliko vec
 
Imam betu od davno, ali mi je igra totalno bez veze.

Ideja nije mozda losa, ali mi je izvodjenje, napucavanje, bilo odbojno totalno..

a takodje i to sto developeri konstantno menjaju pravac u kome igra ide.

upravo probao.nista mi nije jasno sta treba da radim.skacemo pucamo ubijamo bubice nove stalno iskacu i dokle tako?
 
ništa posebno,probao prije mjesec dva...i nije me oduševila ,poslje tolikog pompa ništa posebno(najviše mi smeta ta barvita grafika)
 
Posto je onaj thread u Online igranje neobjasnjivo nestao,moram da okacim ovde
