One of the best places to find ebooks is on IRC. Get yourself mIRC or even download trillian from www.trillian.cc.
The go onto the the Undernet server in Amsterdam or Amsterdam 2
From there, go into the #bookz channel.
When you're in the channel type "@find bookname" without the quote marks, where 'bookname' is the title or type of book you're looking for, eg,
@find star wars
A lot of windows will pop up of people who have the book, or you might have to download their list first. If you do find one you want, copy the line from the exclamation point to the end of zip, to the main window, eg -
!bambam Star Trek - (q1) - Q-Space.zip
The above would copy a star trek book to you from a user called 'bambam' (to copy the line you may have to select the press ctrl/c, as right click don't work).
Good luck!
