When you install Adobe Creative Suit there is a program called Version Cue.If you activate this program it sends personal info to Adobe.
Ip-number,username,userlicence,serialnumber and more....all is reported to Adobe.
In the folder for Version Cue it's an uninstaller. Run it at once when you have installed Adob Creative Suit and you dont have to worry. Or try to doone of the following methods;
Method One
=========
If you want to use a firewall to stop it from connecting then block a program called "Adobelmsvc.exe" (Default C: - Program Files - Common Files - Adobe Systems Shared - Service). And it might also be a good idea to block photoshop.exe and imageready.exe from connecting which is located in the Photoshop CS folder.
Method Two
=========
When Version Cue connects to adobe it modifies the cracked DLL's you use for CS to work. So by setting those cracked files to read-only, Version Cue will not be able to modify it, meaning Photoshop CS will continue to work. Those files are:
AdobeLM.dll
Tw10122.dat
emu.dll
Adobe Spyware Warning
You should really be aware that Adobe has it's own spyware enabled on ALL of it's products (with the possible exception of Streamline)
This spyware logs into the Adobe website and reports which S/N your using for your product. Adobe then maintains a huge list of illegally used S/Ns, which it then invalidates on it's next release of the product. Thus, it's in EVERYONE's interest that you immediately disable this spyware!!!
The process is very simple. Just go into C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Web and rename the program AOM.exe to AOM.xxx. This prevents it from running for ALL Adobe products.
And always have a firewall running. So you can disable adobe's software to contact the internet.
OR
Go to START > RUN.... and enter 'services.msc' to open the services console. See a service called Adobe LM Service ... to stop this service, right-click it, go to PROPERTIES and where it says 'Manual' change to 'Disabled'. Close. I understand that this is part of the Adobe spyware setup.
