You're lazy and you don't want to manually re-upload all of your Facebook albums on Google+, but you really want all those albums and pics on Google+.
Here's how I did it... and it went pretty smooth, so I decided to share with yall...
1. Go to Facebook account, account settings, than download your information. (it will take some time for FB server to gather all the pics and zip it so be patient).
2. Once you've downloaded the zip file, you will find all your photos inside "photos" folder, sorted in subfolders with your albums' name. That's good, and we'll get to why exactly, later on.
3. Download free Picasa application. It's similar to IrfanView or ACDSee, so you'll have no problem getting around once you've started it. It will scan your hard drive, and should find photos you've downloaded from Facebook. If it fails to do so, just point the application to the folder you've unzipped photos to.
4. If you have Google+ account, that means you have GMail and Picasa account (once you're in GMail, for example, just click on "Photos" tab on upper left of the browser windows and it will open a new tab with your Picasa page). Also, you will need to log in Picasa Windows (or MacOS X) application with your Google+ / GMail / Picasa account (that's one and the same) so that the program knows what account to upload your photos to.
5. Now go back to Picasa application, and on Library tab, on the left side, you should see folders with pics, listed alphabetically. Find those that you've previously downloaded from Facebook. Right click on each folder will give you drop-down menu. What you need is one of the last options (third one from below) that says: "Upload to Picasa Web Albums". It will bring another window where you can tell the application where to upload photos and in what size (from 640 * xxx, over 1600 * xxxx to "Original Size"). Good news is that the program will automatically suggest that you create new album for each of the folders you pick to upload, while giving that album exact folder name. This means that you will have all of those albums from Facebook properly named on Google+ (Google+ gets an automatic access to your Picasa Web photos, but don't worry, none of those will be instantly published or shared with everyone). Actually, you will need to change privacy / share settings for each album, later on in Google+ photo albums tab).
Picasa application, unlike Facebook, has an option that allows you to put folders to upload in a queue, so you can repeat the "Upload to Picasa Web Albums" option for each of your folders / Facebook albums and leave your computer to finish upload. Again, once you've uploaded pics, you will need to go to Picasa (Photos on the top, Google tab) and share each album with some "Circles" or all of them...
So, that's it. Five easy steps...
Cheers,
