"Microsoft's general manager of corporate communications, Tom Pilla, likens the strategy to "borrowing a page from Nordstrom" in providing high-end customer service, though the connection the company actually intends to make is clearer through its choice of names for these new staff: Microsoft Gurus.

With no immediate plans for stores of its own, however, Microsoft will rely on representatives closer to Apple's store-within-a-store projects at Best Buy and other key stores. About 155 Gurus will be ready at Best Buy and Circuit City stores in the US before the end of the year."
 
Blamer pokusava da ponovi ono sa Win95, kada su ga progurali jakom reklamnom kampanjom. Zato tolike pare.
 
Rano su se setili - dve godine nakon predstavljanja Viste :)
 
Meni su one Apple-ove reklame simpaticne, nista vise. Onaj mrsavi koji glumi Mac-a mi je bas bezveze, valjda zato...

A ovo Microsoft-ovo cudo mi je potpuno glupo, besmisleno, nije cak ni smesno. Gates se raspada kako glumi. :)
 
Reklamu je rezirao Michelle Gondry (be kind rewind,eternal sunshine of the spotless mind + adidas kampanja + spotovi za Bjork, Chemical Bros... ). To je prva u nizu reklama. Cela kampanja (koja ce trajati 6 meseci kroz sve USA medije) kosta 300mil dolara i radi je jedna od " otkacenih i modernih " agencija - Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
Znaci sve je isplanirano i tako se i odvija :)
Uostalom visti sad ne bi pomoglo nista...
Cemu ceo trud? Nicemu! To je Seinfeld - humor oko nicega... A microsoft ima ionako bar 85% trzista operativnih sistema.
Mada ono " delicious " na kraju obecava rat Apple-u ;)

^i dalje tvrdim da je to najgluplja reklama za bilo sta, ikada snimljena. Sem mozda za Merix.

ma jok, zasto bi M$ radio nesto da parira Apple-u, ma puca njima q za to sto rade u Apple-u - imaju 85% OS trzista! :d
 
Reklama ce biti "shvacena" tek za par meseci, M$ ubacuje konsultante u BestBuy i slicne prodavnice koji ce pomagati pri izboru racunara, pa otuda i Sajnfeld koji pomaze da ovaj uzme dobre cipele... A uz to i malo prozivaju Apple.
 
To je ono sto Apple ima vec godinama u svojim prodavnicama - Apple Genius. Imao sam prilike da vidim kako to izgleda kada sam bio u Apple Store-u u Las Vegasu. Mozes cak i da zakazes npr. termin i da ti detaljno objasne kako se sta radi na Mac-u ili da ti prebace fajlove sa starog racunara na novi itd... Idealno za pocetnike i ne toliko napredne korisnike.
