Ovo je "multiplayer co-operative survival horror FPS" igra koju razvija Turtle Rock Studios, a bazirana je na unapredjenom Source endzinu. Prvi utisci gaming sajtova su dosta pozitivni, a igra je najavljena za Q3 2008...

Setting out to do for co-op gaming what Counter-Strike did for team combat, Left 4 Dead is an ambitious, independently-produced survival horror game from Turtle Rock Studios, the co-developers of Counter-Strike Source. Running on the Source engine, Left 4 Dead leaves four armed survivors of a world overrun with zombies, and they must fight their way out to escape the outbreak.

Designed for co-op play, the four players must work together to finish each stage of the game, lending each other artillery support, sharing ammo and rescuing each other when zombies are on top of them. In addition to the standard four players as humans, another four players can be amongst the masses of assaulting zombies, seeking to take down the other players. Zombie players might even find themselves become one of the four mutant "boss" zombies, who have unique powers that can be used to devastate, injure, tie up, mark and track, confuse, or even humiliate the gun-toting human survivors.

kako ovo moze nekom da se svidja ? Odgledao sam 5-6 trejelera i slobodno mogu d akazem da je ovo jedno od najvecih djubradi koje sam ikada video...zombi, zombi i opet zombi...i jos jedan zombi...i samo me interesuje koliko ce se dugo cekati na neki mec sobzirom da mi, igraci, treba da kontrolisemo zombije koji ce napadati drugu grupicu ljudi...Ne znam za vas, ali ja nemam nameru da budem zombi...

Koliko sam ja shvatio, upravljanje zombijima je potpuno opciono.
Meni se sviđa ideja, pogotovo što je broj coop igara mizeran.
 
opciono je pod uslovom da cekas da neko odustane od pozicije u timu koji ubija zombije...Kolko sam ja razumeo, takvih pozicija ima 4, dakle samo 4-tvoro nisu zombiji, a 4-tvoro jesu...Pored toga, ovo nije co-op, ovo je cist multiplejer, nema nikakvu co-op kampanju...to oni samo pokusavaju da to tako predstave pa se u trejelerima svi vuku zajedno...Te delove koje pominju su razlicite mape. Sve i da nisu, siguran sam da "izlecene" verzije nece moci da se igraju u co-op modu, a da dam 4000din da ubijam zombije - hvala lepo :)

Ovo obećava za neki LAN play ako bude moguće, pogotovo za one koji vole survival horore :) Uvek je super ideja da se u multiplay FPSu sukobljavaju dve potpuno različite strane.
 
Shotovi su katastrofa... nadam se da ce bar gejmplej bii koliko-toliko dobar.
 
Šta očekuješ od Half Life 2 engine-a? :) Još je i dobro, a radiće i na Radeonu 9600 Pro :)
 
HL2 engine? Nisam znao :)
Doduse meni HL2 nekako bolje izgleda od ovoga, pogotovo EP2 ili se varam?
 
Apart from the Tank, playing as the infected tends to go towards the ambush tactic. You want to attack when it's the worst time for the Survivors, and generally this involves you stalking, waiting around a certain corner, then BLARGHOMFGWTF!

Posle svega što sam pročitao, ova igra je apsolutni must-have! Ideja gde se u mp igrama bore dve apsolutno različite strane, pogotovo u zombie scenariju, obećava sigurno tonu zabave. Ja ću je preorderovati čim postane dostupna :banana:

Gejb najavio demo...i to uskoro?
Gabe Newell, managing director and co-founder of Valve, has confirmed plans for an Xbox 360 and PC demo of hotly anticipated zombie shoot-em-up Left 4 Dead.

Newell told VideoGamer.com at Leipzig Games Convention that it will include the first part of one of the four campaign 'movies', probably The Hospital level that has been demonstrated to the press.

Left 4 Dead demo arriving early next week

Valve plans to release PC and Xbox 360 demos of Left 4 Dead on Tuesday 11th November.

Furthermore, anyone pre-ordering the zombie shooter from Steam will be able to play as soon as this Thursday. This Thursday! There's also a 10 per cent discount for those reserving a copy on Steam.

Left 4 Dead is the co-operative shooter that caused quite a stir at the Eurogamer Expo, regularly sporting one of the longest queues of the show.

The idea is to kill hordes of Infected (read: zombies) before they eat you, with the help of three co-op team-mates. That's good enough, but add the opportunity for real people to control the Infected and the formula becomes even more enticing.

Left 4 Dead will be out on PC from Steam on 18th November, and on Xbox 360 from 21st November. There's no PS3 version, in case you're wondering.

Meni nešto govori da će ovo biti njesra od igre.
 
Ko zna sta ce biti od ovoga Left 4 Dead, iskreno ne bih voleo da ulazim u neke polemike o tome da li ce igra biti S..nje ili dobra, vec bih sacekao demo ili mozda cak punu igru. Po onome sto sam video igra je zamishljena prvenstveno kao 4 Players Co-Op online i pravio ju je Valve ... :)

Ovo je neki gameplay koji su radili developeri, izgleda mi simpa za sada.
P.S. lik je totalni frik ... a ova riba je sve osim pametna :)
