Several sites have written that S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl has gone gold, referencing the recent news by stalker-world.com.ua:
"We got some information that GSC had recently finished its work on Stalker. The final build has the whole storyline, 20 levels and all of the features. With other words final version. The only thing missing are the videos, they will be made by THQ with the balancing of the game. Along with it we expect the PR campaign to begin. This means that everything is in THQ hands and S.T.A.L.K.E.R should be released in 6-8 months."
What the site tried to say, is that the game has reached beta stage. The release is still scheduled for "When It's Done", and as THQ has previously stated, this will not occur before Fall 2006. (thanks Oblivion-Lost.com)

Bitno je da je završen i da su time zapušena usta svim kritičarima. Ipak se ispostavilo, kako sam i predviđao, da će razvojni tim zbog toga što je sa istoka imati muke sa izdavačkim kućama na zapadu, no dobro.

Samo da vas upozorim - ovo je igra u kojoj ništa nije revolucionarno, sve je već viđeno, ide se unapred, puca se, rešavaju se misije, budži se pokoja statistika, oružje se drži u desnoj ruci, ima grafiku, ima zvuk, ima fiziku, zahtevna je, ima velike nivoe...

6 do 8 meseci za video klipove? Pa imaju modele, teksture, animacije, sve, samo je potrebno da ga puste kroz render... 6-8 meseci? Ma to nije završeno. Ima dosta da se testira i čisti od bagova...

The video is enough. It will run, but you need more RAM. Most of the games require 512mb.That is the minimum.

Jedino sto su modeli protivnika malo losiji i ne uklapaju se u fotorealisticnu pozadinu,ali what the heck :d.

He sneaked after its prey, hid in the grass, and then stabbed his prey, ransacked his pockets, kicked him (!), took a rifle, and scuttled out into bushes.
