Job Title: Software Developer (Slot Games)
Location: Slovenia (Headquarters) / Remote

Enigma gaming d.o.o. is a small but dynamic and innovative company specializing in the development of engaging land-based slot games. Our mission is to create immersive gaming experiences that captivate players worldwide. With our headquarters in Slovenia, where our core development team is based, and a support and test office in Belgrade, Serbia, we offer a collaborative and international work environment. We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our products.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain the game logic and front-end code base.
Write maintainable and effective code in Java.
Debug and optimize existing code to ensure smooth performance.
Redesign and implement refactoring of code base with the intent of making it more effective and maintainable.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, artists, and other developers, to deliver high-quality gaming experiences.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in game development.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tools.
Utilize Git for version control and code repository management.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Software Developer, with a strong portfolio of shipped projects.
Proficiency in Java programming language.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage your own tasks effectively.
Self-motivated and proactive in seeking out new challenges and learning opportunities.
Experience with Git version control.
Proficient in the English language.
Pluses:
Familiarity with C/C++ or any other systems programming language is a big plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of slot game mechanics.
Understanding of rendering engines.
