nije valjda neko pomislio...
a šveđani...
sve u svemu njihov "telekom" mora još mnogo, mnogo da uči od našeg...
People in Stockholm, Sweden are about to be taken for a ride at the speed of light.
90,000 apartments in Stockholm and 10,000 commercial premisses will be getting 1Gbps - to each room (due to some bad journalism it's not evident if it's 1Gbps to the apartment and then a gigabit-switch with TP-cables to each room, or if it's in fact 1Gbps Internet access to each and every room).
Today there are already thousands of people in Sweden that can order 1Gbps but this is one of the biggest projects taking place right now. The upgrade is supposed to finish in 2010, the same year that the majority of BBB (Bredbandsbolaget - ISP in Sweden - owned by Telenor) fiber/LAN customers are supposed to have 1Gbps as well.
During 2008 it's expected that 5 - 10 billion swedish Kronor (1 USD is the equivalent of 5.969 Kronor) will be invested in new or upgraded fiber/LAN connections to homes in Sweden.

a šveđani...
I currently pay $13 a month for 100Mbps up and down (ofc no cap but I'm not really putting it to use... my average traffic per month is about 10Mbps (circa 3TB)).
Nah, i have 100/20 fibre at home and i still think its enough. I dont think 1Gbit would make such a difference...
Downloading a 40+ gig bluray in under 1 hour is faster than i ever dreamed about, so why complain?![]()
