Polish graphene processor works 3 months without battery charging.

Digital Core Design, Polish design laboratories from Bytom have developed the world’s first processor made of graphene. BYT-ON - that’s the name of this breakthrough solution - contains an unique architecture, which allows to process all operations with speeds reaching up to 1/300 the speed of light. Furthermore, it features minimal power consumption, as little as 1 fA/MHz, so that the processor can work even for 3 months on a single battery charge.

Ovo 1fA/MHz je jedan femto amper po megahercu? Verovatno je to struja jednog tranzistora, ali cak i tako je zadivljujuce :-o
Ja sam oduševljen, ako ovo radi, a obzirom da je 1. April, prerano se radujem

Ovo nije nista spektakularno, ako se uzme u obzir da ce ti procesori kostati 1000 dolara komad i da je to samo usteda na procesorskom nivou, sto znaci da koliko god da je procesor mali potrosac, ostaje ekran i ostali senzori koji trose jako mnogo, pogotovo vec siroko rasprostranjeni amoled koji trose vise ako je slika svetlija.
