PayPal, BiH, sankcije !?

Kako je BiH jedna od zemalja za koju PayPal servis nije dostupan, odlucih da posaljem mail sa pitanjem ZASTO?! Ljubazna gospodjica Maria-Elena mi odgovara sledece:

"Due to U.S. economic sanctions access to the PayPal system from Bosnia and
Herzegovina is not authorized. You can access your account from one of the
103 countries and regions in which PayPal is available. You
can obtain further information from PayPal about this restriction by
contacting [email protected]."

Sankcije?? Ko je ovdje lud, kakve sankcije? BiH valjda nikad nije imala sankcije, mozda RS a i ako je bilo ukinute su posle Dejtona, a od tada je proslo vise od 10 godina :trust:
 
Mozda neke sanckije koje su Austro-Ugari uveli ubrzo nakon ubistva princa Ferdinanda :d.
 
Nemam pojma, poslao sam mail ponovo!
Mada pravi razlog je vjerovatno sto si i BiH i Srbija zemlje visokog rizika sto se tice internet prevara i sl., ili su bar nekad bile... :smash:
 
Pravni i carinski sistemi su izuzetno slabi u Srbiji, a verovatno i u BiH (mada nisam upucen) i zbog toga ljudi u PayPalu stite normalne korisnike iz normalnih zemalja tako sto ne dozvoljavaju koriscenje iz Srbije i BiH. Pa nece valjda da smanje sigurnost 20 miliona korisnika, da bi dobili 20 hiljada novih...
 
Al' su brzi, subota a dobio odgovor za 3 sata :), a odgovor, ocekivan:

grant access to Internet Service Providers (ISP) from sanctioned
countries because they are automatically blocked at the server level. As
an internet company, we cannot monitor, restrict or grant access to
individual accounts based on their account holder's status. We have
therefore made a business decision to restrict all access from OFAC
sanctioned countries.

Unfortunately, we cannot make an exception in your case. We apologize

A šta znači to što su sve ove nama bliske zemlje u onoj grupi "Send money to..."?
Btw, ni ja ne nađoh Makedoniju :trust:
 
To znaci da mogu samo da salju novce tj. placaju, ne mogu da primaju uplate na paypal nalog.
 
Paypal je od danas postao banka :D
