Miner Wars 2081, 6DoF underground and space shooter

Miner Wars 2081 is a six axes space shooter featuring entirely destructible environments. The game will include both single player and co-op modes, with a further Miner Wars MMO franchise in pre-development.

From the protagonist's perspective, you are the operator of an advanced mining ship in an open-ended asteroid belt. The player is handed a plentitude of options with regards to play style and objectives observed:
Players may choose to sculpt a base of operations inside of an inconspicuous asteroid, complete with traps an hidden rooms, or perhaps blast through tons of rock and debris in search of precious metals and valuable materials - which can then be sold later for upgrades, ship customization and items. Take part in missions battling enemies who stray into your territory, or lay siege to the opposition in their own sector of space. Specialize in warfare, exploration, or harvesting, and tally your loot as you plunder fallen vessels, slowly building an empire and expanding your means, until you're an infamous one-man army NOT TO BE F--trifled with.

Gameplay is led by an epic narrative available in both single and multiplayer settings; the narrative will filter into the sequel title with many twists and unexpected developments. The story will introduce the player to many mission types, including but not limited in scope to:
- Rescue
- Exploration
- Retribution
- Base Defense
- Theft
- Escort
- Stealth
- Search and Destroy
- Harvesting
- Or an all-versus-all frenzy of dog-fighting destruction!

Although there are many missions for the player to complete, and an incredible plot to unravel, Miner Wars does not believe in strict adherence to quests. Rather, we encourage players to follow their own path, and 'freeplay' will be an important factor in the expansive realm that is Miner Wars 2081.

Demo je dostupan:

The demo version of the game runs much like the full version - it will include all of the same features (i.e. harvesting, drilling, weapons, etc.) and receive regular updates, the only restriction being that players are limited to a particular sector in space.
If players decide they would like to play the full game, they are able to simply purchase an account upgrade on www.minerwars.com, and play immediately!

Please note: This is a PRE-ALPHA and still currently in a very early state of production. It should be considered a work in progress. Updates and features are added regularly.
