Preinstalling HD Audio OOB
==========================
This document provides instructions for preinstalling the 1.0a UAA HD AUdio OOB KB888111 release
Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP1, Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 Gold. This release does not install on Server 2003 SP1.
You can preinstall the UAA HD Audio OOB only on the above mentioned operating systems.
Do not preinstall the UAA HD Audio OOB on Windows 2000 without Service Pack 4
installed, or the original "gold" release of Windows XP, or on any version of
Windows XP 64-Bit Edition OS SKUs.
The preinstall reuires a reboot on Windows 2000 SP4 and on the other operating systems
as well if the OS component Portcls.sys is in use during the installation (another audio driver was loaded
prior to the Microsoft HD Audio package install).
There are four main packages, all available in 24 different languages.
KB888111w2ksp4.exe - supports Windows 2000 SP4
KB888111xpsp1.exe - supports Windows XP SP1.
KB888111xpsp2.exe - supports Windows Xp SP2.
KB888111srvrtm.exe - supports Windows Server 2003 Standard (32-bit version only).
See language list at the bottom of this readme.
These instructions assume that you preinstall the relevant Windows OS over
a network, by using Windows PE.
1. Copy the relevant (OS/Language) install package to a subdirectory on your
technician computer.
For example, create a folder under the OPKTools directory called
Updates. Place the relevan package install file (KB888111xpsp2 for instance) in the
Updates folder.
2. In Setup Manager create or modify an existing Windows
configuration set.
3. Add the following command-line information to the Preinstalled
Applications page in Setup Manager:
Executable: \\server\OpkTools\Updates\KB888111xpsp2.exe (or any of the other KB888111packages)
Parameters: -q -n -z
4. Save the configuration set.
5. Start the destination computer by using Windows PE and preinstall
the relevant Windows OS by using the command factory -winpe.
The UAA HD Audio OOB package is installed immediately after the Windows OS is
installed, and it will be enabled on the next reboot of the computer.
Note: The syntax of the Out Of Band (OOB) installation
program is (example):
KB888111xpsp2.exe [/help] [/quiet] [/passive] [/uninstall] [/norestart] [/integrate] [/forcerestart][/f] [/l] [/n] [/o]
Substitute the file name in the above example with the right package for the operating system you are installing on.

/help Displays a help window with the information below
/quiet Runs in quiet mode, with no user interaction or display
/passive Runs in unattended mode, progress bar only
/uninstall Uninstalls the package.
/norestart Does not restart when installation is complete
/forcerestart Restart after package installation
/integrate:<fullpath> Integrate this software into <fullpath>
/f Forces other programs to close when the computer shuts down.
/l Lists installed Hotfixes or update packages
/n Does not back up files for uninstalling of the package
/o Overwrites OEM files without prompting

Ako pokusavas ovo da instaliras na 64 bitni windows nece raditi jer podrzava samo Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP1, Windows XP SP2 i Windows Server 2003 Gold, ne podrzava 64 bitne

jesi li probao drajverima sa zvanicne stranice? koliko se secam, tih problema je bilo ranije sa sp3 ali 32-bitnom verzijom...moralo je da "brcka" po reg bazi da bi proradilo, za 64-bita vec nisam siguran. hotfix ti je inace u kompletu sa drajverima...
mozes i ovo da probas:
1 device manager-wiew devices by connection
2 na pci bus-u bi trebalo da imaš microsoft UAA bus driver for High definition audio, ako nemaš onda realtekovi drajveri neće da dovedu instalaciju do kraja(na XP do sp2)
3 pronađi audio device on HDA bus,disable pa uninstal
4 HDA bus disable pa uninstal
5 pokreni setup realtek drivera, trebalo bi da prođe bez problema

Nemam pojama neki je hvla neki kude , radim u Vegasu montazu hoce raditi pod Vistom , mada vidim da neki rade i u Windows 7 . Zainatio sam se da resim ovo pa videcemo . IU svakom slucaju hvala svima a ako neko naleti na neki link neka ga okaci . Pozdrav !

64-bitni xp mnogo malo ljudi ima, bar ovde oko mene, tako da stvarno ne bih mogao da ti nesto vise pomognem, ovo je vise copy/paste sa drugog foruma...pod vistom (nebitno koja verzija) nikakvih problema nisam imao...
Oseti se razlika kad radis sa Vegasom pod 32 i 64-bitnim OS (bar kod mene), jos nisam probao na 7...
Pod vistom ti trazi vise memorije ali ako imas rama (sto cisto sumnjam da nemas) onda ti sigurno nece praviti problema...
