Ovo nije bas direktno vezano za hard diskove, ali je vrlo koristan program AIDA32:

Posto nisam siguran da ovoga jos uvek ima na Seagate sajtu, barem ga ja nesto ne vidim...ili je u okviru ovog velikog seatools programa: dakle samo utility za acoustic managment Seagate diskova.
 
Trebalo bi da onaj IBM-ov (pardon, Hitachi-jev :)) HDD Feature Tool radi sa svim diskovima koji podrzavaju Acoustic Management.
 
Samo da dodam da onaj Maxtorov program (PowerMax) ne radi na nForce maticnim plocama !

Naleteo sam na interesantan program u fazonu HDTach-a za HDD benchmark i jos po nesto, a uz to jos i besplatan. Evo ga kratak info:

HD Tune 1.00 is a hard disk utility which has the following functions:

· Benchmark: measures the raw performance
· Transfer Rate
· Access Time
· CPU Usage
· Burst Rate
· Hard Disk information which includes firmware version, serial number, disk capacity, buffer size, transfer mode

· S.M.A.R.T. Information (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology)
· Temperature
· Power On Time

Boot master partition recovery

Da dodam i ovaj prog u kolekciju.
Program je freeware, a radi bolje od mnogih komerijalnih i shareware.
Prijatelj je sa njime uspeo da povrati particije sluchajno izbrisane dosovim FDISK-om chini mi se.

Male napomene:
Hitachi Feature Tool 1.91 ne radi sa Seagate SATA diskom (ustvari detektuje ga i tu se i zakuca)
Seagate SeaTools 1.6, isto se zaglavi prilikom diagnosticiranja diska (i to naravno Seagate-a)!?! Mislim no comment.
Seaacm sto je drapin poslao ne vidi SATA disk, tako da snjim isto ne mogu namestiti acoustic managment.
HdTune ne radi pod Win98.
 
Evo jos jedan interesantan u fazonu DTemp-a (meri HDD temperature u razmaku od 1s, a registracija nije obavezna, ali je besplatna i uklanja nag screen)...

HDD Thermometer is a hard disk temperature monitoring tool. It has all the features needed to prevent overheating and possible data loss.

Main Features:

Monitors hard disks temperature changes;
Ability to perform any of following actions when exceed Warning or Critical temperature:

Izasla je nova verzija HD Tune-a. U pitanju je 2.10 i donosi nekoliko novina, a pri tom je i dalje besplatan :D...

Ja imam plocu K7N2 Delta-L i radi savrseno. Mada je ovo Nforce 2, ali trba ga svakako probati.
