Kako u Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional da se ISKLJUCI automatski update...

Cim otvorim neki PDF fajl, automatski se u systray-u pojavi ikonica i krene automatski download update-a...

Kako to da ukinem?

Zvuci glupo, ali pokreni Update iz Help menija (check for updates).
Nakon sto proveri sta ima za update, dobices Preferences link, i tu ces moci da iskljucis Updates.

Nikad nisam sacekao da zavrsi taj proces provere, mislio sam da odmah skida update, posto je delovalo sporo...

Disable Adobe Acrobat 8 Auto-update Feature

Method 1:
Acrobat reader 8 uses plug-ins to manage its features, so to disable Auto-update or any other feature, rename (either through direct MSI editing, transform or batch) the applicable plug-in located in %systemdrive%\Program Files\Adobe\Reader 8.0\Reader\plug_ins.
Autoupdate = Updater.api

Change from
<AutoCheck>1</AutoCheck>
to
<AutoCheck>0</AutoCheck>
