Scroll through your registry to the place where your Radeon setting are i.e

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE---SYSTEM---CurrentControlSet---Control---Video---hardwareID

Make a MultiString, Name it FastZClearEnabled and give it the value 0 (zero). Like so...

"FastZClearEnabled"=hex(7):30,00,00,00,00,00

I'd post direct fix, but thanks to the geniuses at MS, everybody now has their
own unique hardwareID, so choose the right path. Now enjoy games with real
antialiasing instead of artifacts, I told technical support about my fix last year
but they saw fit not to publish it or even mention it anywhere....

Browsing inside the key it will have a descriptor that should
stand out so you know it's the right key, i.e one which
says Radeon 9700 Pro (or whatever card you have) somewhere inside.
To be sure of the right key, you can run Radeon control panel, make changes and see if they're reflected in the key.

When you find it

Make a multistring

Name it FastZClearEnabled

Double click on it

Enter 0

Hit enter

Done (Enjoy AntiAliasing without artifacts)

p.s you only need this is if you have artifacts when you force
Anti Aliasing on, if you don't get the problem don't bother as
it has a about a 40% performance hit. i.e games that run at
100fps will run at 60fps after applying this, although you
can just delete the key anytime to go back upto 100fps.
(just make a registry bookmark for conveniece)

Wish I could have made it simpler, if it was earlier Windows
just downloading a fix file and clicking on it would have
done the trick.
