"Researchers from the computer science department at the University of Washington have released BitTyrant, a new BitTorrent client that is designed to improve download performance via strategic selection of peers and upload rates. Their results call into question the effectiveness of BitTorrent's tit-for-tat reciprocation strategy which was designed to discourage selfish users."

Fast – During evaluation testing on more than 100 real BitTorrent swarms, BitTyrant provided an average 70% download performance increase when compared to the existing Azureus 2.5 implementation, with some downloads finishing more than three times as quickly.
Fair – BitTorrent was designed with incentives in mind: if a user is downloading at 30 KBps, they should upload at 30 KBps. However, due to the unique workload properties of many real-world swarms, this is not always enforced. BitTyrant is designed to make efficient use of your scarce upload bandwidth, rewarding those users whose upload allocations are fair and only allocating excess capacity to other users.
Familiar – BitTyrant is based on modifications to Azureus 2.5, currently the most popular BitTorrent client. All of our changes are under the hood. You’ll find the GUI identical to Azureus, with optional additions to display statistics relevant to BitTyrant’s operation.

iskreno - ne znam zasto bi neko uopste probao. to bi bilo kao da kaznjavas sam sebe.

ko od nas jos ima isti up kao down speed ?
iritirajuce kad vidim neciji nacin razmisljanja tipa imam slab up pa nek se hebu, a jos vise iritira kad dajes sve sto mozes da das pa te opet kaznjavaju i *****ju ti kako dajes malo i ogranicavas up. Ispadas kriv ako nemas isti down kao i up i niko ne zeli da svati da ni ne mozes nista drugo da imas.
 
heh, eto, nisam znao da i toga ima ovde, sem 64/64 paketa, ali ne verujem da imas takav :p Ja sam zadovoljan torentima u principu. Ti cimaski trekeri i tako propadnu jel previse zahtevaju za kacenje torenta
 
ja volim da isprobam svaki novi torrent program...mislim šta fali?:)
