Hi guys. Are you considering buying it? Here is my advice: Buying it only for watching TV / movies? Excellent choice! Are you buying it also for gaming & internet browsing/ programming etc? AVOID !!! I bought one & after extensive research and all the attempts to make it better failed and as it turned out even some of the specs are spoofed! Reasons? Basically few main that made my negative feedback approach towards it: extremely high input lag 125ms! (software updated - tv manufactured this year/july!! Ridiculous! Of course you can choose gamemode but the quality of the image drops down drastically & at this poing don't be even reassured because it doesn't even changes much although it improves but still leaves this model on the far end of majority of TV's. It makes even simple browsing net annoying so just.. imagine.. Sampling chroma 4:4:4 it does NOT have it. Only up to 4:2:2 - even though they tell u it does (in the user manual 4:4:4 60hz 8bit) but IT DOESN'T - IT'S A LIE - too bad the guys from phillips customer service are so poorly prepared for the job not being able to answer faq's correctly - called few branches in 3 different countries - but what can they do if the company itself lies, right? There's the option in hdmi settings to choose from: 444/422 and it gives you the image in 422 so 4k while plugged to pc & e.g. browsing is indistinct, obscure so to speak - 4k pointless - although justified in the price category, can't deny.. I wish resellers put those info's in specs but 99% sadly DO NOT. Also I do wish all the 4k TVs had 444 cus in my opinion (at least for using it as a pc monitor) without 444 calling it 4k quality is not reasonable.. When choosing 'connected to pc' you cannot change this annoying autodimming (out in the other modes you can) The screen itself is I would say noticably more reflecting than the others (mirror effect) Poor HDR potential. I returned it after a week knowing straight away I would NOT EVER want it - got another - LG & v pleased. Wasted quite some time researching on this - I couldn't find out straight to clarity about it - not much on that out in the net verified infos neither on the web with products manufacturers specs & hope it helps out someone.. but hey, like I said for watching it's brilliant in that price & the led interactive lighting is awesome but it's not the only reasons you're buying a tv for.. With all that being said; Good luck!
