Entry Vega je oko $500. RX 580 verovatno vise nece biti ispod $400 opet. Kupovina 1080 mi se cini boljom akcijom uopsteno.
Asus Radeon RX Vega 64 Strix Gaming

A quick word on overclocking. We managed to run the Asus Radeon RX Vega 64 at 1,980MHz core and 1,000MHz memory, just beating out the clocks achieved by reference, and by doing so we added
an additional 6.4 per cent performance in a trio of games. The downside of this voltage-induced performance is that power consumption rose to 532W at the wall

Asus adding extra TDP to the BIOS obviously increases total power consumption. That is reflected in under-load figures that are 44W higher than reference.
However, that massive Strix cooler does an admirable job of keeping RX Vega 64 cool and composed.
What's more, though we didn't test in our own environment, the card's fans kept very quiet under load. We'd describe the card as barely audible in a typical gaming rig, as is the GTX 1080 version, to be fair, and therefore a huge improvement over the noisy Radeon reference model.
Drivers were the same 17.8.1 beta as used on the reference card.
Conclusion: Positive first impression
Even if a test of the final Asus Radeon RX Vega 64 Strix like the market introduction still a few weeks in must wait, shows the pre-production copy of Asus already where it goes with this partner card: In the right direction. This is largely due to the 2.5-slot thick cooling system, which was already convincing on the Asus GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Strix (test) .
Because while the reference card goes under load loudly, the version of Asus manages to remain very quiet even in games. From a closed case the strix under load is hardly heard and the quiet competition with GeForce GTX 1080 equals.
The performance-per-watt ratio is slightly better
Asus did not like the graphics card: The Radeon RX Vega 64 Strix is even a bit faster than the reference design of the Radeon RX Vega 64 (Test) and is in the case somewhat smaller selection of games with an overclocked GeForce GTX 1080 equals. This also creates the reference design with a maximized Power Target, but an abnormally high volume is generated.
Another reason for the quiet cooling with high performance next to the radiator is the third good news: The power consumption has hardly increased compared to the reference model at 100 percent Power Target. It remains high, but the performance per watt ratio is slightly better compared to the reference card.
Final Partner Cards at the end of September
Even though it will be a final evaluation of the graphics card only on the basis of a final version, to ensure that it also corresponds to the model in the trade, the first impression of the Radeon RX Vega 64 Strix is very positive. What will it cost? Asus did not say anything.
Whether the model of Asus will be superior to the other partner cards, including those of the usually strong AMD exclusive partners PowerColor and Sapphire, must also show up. Probably towards the end of September, a test of several partner cards will also answer this question.

Evo testa u 25 igara (više no bilo koji drugi review):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQCal8t-qvQ
@jurodivi
