Pred nama je novi IP od autora serijala Gothic i Risen...

ELEX — which is an acronym for "eclectic, lavish, exhilarating, xenial" — takes place in a "post-apocalyptic science fantasy universe that puts players into a huge, seamless game world full of original characters, mutated creatures, deep moral choices and powerful action," according to a press release from Nordic. The word xenial describes hospitality, or a cordial relationship between a host and guest.

"ELEX is going to be edgy, dark, uncompromising, complex, and we love it already," said Reinhard Pollice, business and product development director at Nordic Games. While details are scarce at this point, Pollice added that Piranha Bytes will exhibit ELEX at Gamescom 2015 next month.

ELEX is in development on Windows PC and "current gen console platforms," according to Nordic Games. Asked for clarification, a Nordic Games representative told Polygon that Piranha Bytes is "targeting" PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. ELEX is scheduled to be released next winter — late 2016 or early 2017.

Bah, Piranha...ukakali su sve od Gothic 3 i prvog Risena na ovamo...a i G3 su tako sklepali da je bio potreban community patch da ga iole upristoji. Još i ova prezentacija...nova igra mi ne uliva poverenje.
 
Posapokaliptični SF Gothic, deluje zanimljivo, sigurno pratim.

Dobro je što ne prave još jedan Risen, i ovaj novi setting zvuči prilično kul. Sa druge strane, nemam previše poverenja u njih posle Risen-a 2 i 3, plus izgleda opet koriste isti buđavi endžin.

Mislim da su veće šanse da francuski Spiders konačno skuva dobru igru sa The Technomancer nego da nova igra nazovi Pirahna Bytes ispadne iole dobra igra.

Hm...

Da, ali ako ovo ne bude još jedan klon njihovih ranijih igara, sa istim sistemima borbe, kvestovima itd. samo u nešto gorem izdanju nego prethodnici, što je staza kojom koračaju njihovi naslovi novijeg datuma...

Danasnji Piranha Bytes ima veze sa prvobitnim isto koliko i danasnji Bioware ima veze sa onim iz 1998. godine.
Tako da...ovo je pisi propalo u najavi.

Production information
Björn Pankratz is the Project Manager. He has also been PM for Gothic II: Night of the Raven add-on, Risen 2 (together with Mike Hoge) and Risen 3.
Mike Hoge (PM for Gothic 1 - Risen 2) will not be involved with the new project in any way, and neither will be Mattias Filler, Kai Rosenkranz or Ralf Marczinzik among others. (see current and past members of Piranha Bytes)
There will be a different composer than Risen 3.
The music will be darker.
No recycled assets will be used from previous games, like Risen 3 used from Risen 2.
The graphical design will still be stylized/a bit cartoonish, but in a darker, less colorful, more adult way.

Technical information
Engine: The same in-house engine used by Piranha Bytes since Risen 1, updated to the present technology (i.e. DX11).


Story & setting
The new game will have a happier/more satisfactory ending than Risen 3.
The game will be structured into chapters.
Playing with a party of NPCs will be optional as a rule.
Different kinds of environment, though the diversity of which remains be seen.
The player will interact with at least on non-human species.
Apparently there will be a big unitary landmass rather than a fragmented map.
The game will feature relatively small settlements, none the size of Khorinis (Gothic 2), but larger than the mage settlement in Risen 3.
There will be no ships.

Activities
The climbing will again be scripted.
There will be swimming.
There will be no Quick Time Events!
The inventory will again be unlimited.
More NPCs will be killable in the new project, not just quest-related kills.
There will be teachers and a crafting system which allows the player to craft more than just weapons.
There will be different factions granting special abilities and weapon skills upon joining them.
The hero will be able to sleep.
The inventory will be redesigned.

Combat
There will be difficulty level from which the player can choose.

Nema Kai Rosenkranza? Tačno je da muzika koju je radio za Risen igre nije na nivou Gothic 3 Soundtracka ali opet, on je zaštitni znak Piranha Bytes.

Krš grafika u najavi koju će pokušati da maskiraju cell shading tehnikama aka Borderlands fazon.

Sve mi se čini da će ovo biti Piranha Bytesov Raven's Cry.

Kai je otisao iz PB posle prvog Risena. Tacnije, mislim da je otisao i pre nego sto je Risen publishovan, ali da je to poslednja igra za koju je radio muziku u PB.

Ne mora uopšte da znači da će ići na cell shading stil. I Risen igre, posebno drugi i treći deo, su imale delimično stilizovanu grafiku (pogledaj recimo modele likova, uopšte nisu išli na realizam). Verovatno će i ELIX imati sličan stil, samo malo manje izražen i prilagođen mračnijem okruženju.

- catastrophe on the planet caused the rise of several different groups
- some heavily rely and focus on tech, some dropped every modern technology and sort of live in the middle age
- civilisation before the catastrophe similar to our current tech-level
- devs want to adress serious issues (acceptance of drugs in society, 'right' form of society...)

- huge world, barely scripted, exploration
- 3rd person view, skill system, join fractions, melee, magic, ranged weapons
- complex crafting system
- streamed world, no loading screens
- in-house engine with PBR, upgraded for DirectX 11
- no outsourced inventory management, minimal HUD (GS speculation: Dead Space like HUD)
- optional tutorial

- fans of Gothic will definitely recognize the Piranha Bytes touch
- Pankratz says Gothic 3 was "too generic", "barely any dialogue", "stories not involving", promises to alleviate these issues in Elex

Po meni su skroz promašili ovaj sf/fantazi svet. Išli su na neku post-apokalipsu tipa stalker i fallout pomešanu sa G3, i u sličnom bezveznom endžinu kao G3 i R2 ,3... Trebalo je da prave neki sf/fantazi kao iz Storma ili Najamnika. To bi bilo originalno u svetu igara.
 
Ovo kao da je pre-alpha. Animacije i HUD kao da su iz 1997.
 
Tolko smešno da je žalosno,oni raptori copy paste iz gothica

Šta se tiče najamnika,mislim da su već neki teli al nisu dobili licencu,il kako se to već kaže

A ako bi se držali originala,bila bi to neviđena igra

To mi jedan od omiljenih stripova :)

Ovo je spoiler ali nije tako strašno. Početak i malo igre.

 
Igra izašla.

<sarcasm>PB nije zakazala što se tiče kvaliteta produkcije </sarcasm>. Nekoliko patch-eva da se igra popegla i biće nešto od nje.

 
Mene nesto u izgledu igre, sta god to bilo, podseca na fallout 4
 
^ znam, samu mehaniku, pricu i ostalo uopste ne poredim vec me iskljucivo vizuelno nekako podseca na fallout.
 
Igleda da su se konačno malo potrudili oko vertikalnog dizajna nivoa. Posle G2 su tu vertikalu skroz bili zanemarili. Ja sam tek počeo i na ultra težini nema šanse da se ubije ona ptičurina gore na početku, a bojim se da kad se izađe iz lifta više nema povratka na taj deo mape.
