[Problem Description]
Before trying to use a GeForce GTX970 based graphics card I used multiple nVidia graphic cards on this motherboard without any issues. With GeForce GTX970 I have encountered a BIOS issue. When the power button is pressed the monitor lights up as to indicate there is a signal coming from the graphics card but the screen stays completely black, BIOS POST bootup sequence is not displayed and there is no way to access motherboard BIOS. The system will hang like this for few minutes, displaying completely black screen without POST information about CPU, memory and IDE devices. After few minutes windows loading screen will appear and windows will load normally. Once booted into windows the system will also function normally but with every restart or power up the system POST will not be displayed and there is no way to access BIOS.
I have encountered this exact same behavior with two different models of GeForce GTX970 based cards leading me to believe the problem is originating from GeForce GTX970 BIOS and motherboard BIOS communication during power up.
The problem presents itself always and on every output on the graphics card the same way, DisplayPort, HDMI or DVI.
All the cards tried with this motherboard were checked and work normally on other systems. All the graphics cards had their BIOS updated to latest iteration.
