In R.U.S.E., players use their brain as the ultimate weapon, fighting a war of perception, where the ability to deceive and mislead the enemy determines success. A first in a strategy game, R.U.S.E. reinvigorates the genre by using deception to give new-found depth to the game play.

R.U.S.E. is a one-of-a-kind real-time strategy game that allows players to bluff their enemies to lead their nation to victory, controlling the action using views that range seamlessly from the heart of the battlefield to the full theatre of war. Players will be plunged into the action thanks to the exclusive IRISZOOM Engine which offers an intuitive interface that allows for smooth, rapid transitions from a birds-eye view of the entire conflict, down into the heat of the battle and vice versa.

"With R.U.S.E., Ubisoft is once again shaking up a genre, offering an RTS with a twist that will thrill gamers," said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. Players can explore the maps using IRISZOOM Engine, which provides an aerial, smooth interaction unlike anything ever seen before."

Ubisoft and Intel are committed to working together to ensure R.U.S.E. takes full advantage of Intel technologies. "Ubisoft and Intel are demonstrating some of the benefits gamers will experience when playing R.U.S.E. on the Intel Core i7 processor based platforms,� said Elliot Garbus, vice president Intel Software and Services Group, general manager Visual Computing Software Division. "Gamers will experience more immersive game play with smooth zooming from satellite to ground view, superior AI delivering more complex unit movements and more realistic physics throughout the game.�

R.U.S.E. is optimized for Intel's latest core processors, including the Intel Core i7 processor, and will be demonstrated for the first time in public at the Intel booth during the Game Developers Conference (GDC) at Moscone North Hall, booth #6006 at 5:00 PM Pacific on Wednesday March 25 in San Francisco.

Graficki je bezveze, a imam neki osecaj da ni gameplay nece biti nista posebno. A naravno i7 je slag na tortu...:smash:

Bice ovo jedna velika "Auto aim" strategija... koja ce verovatno vise biti platforma nego bilo sta drugo. Ubacice i neko sakupljanje jabuka verovatno :D

Jeste, ali s'obzirom da nemam vremena da igram igre (prokleti kapitalizam i monetarni sistem) volim makar da vidim lepu i prijatnu grafiku, da se zaradujem malo i onda iskuliram... ;)
 
Simpatična je razlika u komentarima za istu igricu u zavisnosti od toga da li se komentariše na PC ili konzolaškom podforumu :D

Da ne bude zabune - i ja delim mišljenje da će ovo biti jedna od "nebitnijih" strategija ;)

We get our hands on this unusual PC and console strategy game and launch our brilliant military offensives under the cover of radio silence.

Ubisoft's unique real-time strategy game R.U.S.E. kind of looks like a traditional real-time strategy game, though it also kind of looks like a traditional wargame, and it kind of looks like the publisher's previous strategy game, Tom Clancy's EndWar. The unusual game lets you wage World War II-era warfare with infantry units, light scouting vehicles, various types of tanks (as well as antitank cannons), and different types of fighter and bomber planes. R.U.S.E. is powered by Eugen Systems' IrisZoom technology, which lets you quickly zoom in and out of the action, getting in so close that you can see individual muzzle flashes from the rifles of your light infantry, and zooming out so far that your view of the action turns into a tabletop wargame, with board-game figurines representing each of your units.

PC Demo Now Available!
The R.U.S.E. demo is now available on PC, which you can download on Steam. The demo features a full mission in which you play a role in the Allied offensive in Italy, aimed at cutting off a German offensive from withdrawing by attacking them from behind. However, high command suddenly realizes that the Germans, aided by the remaining loyal Italian units, are much stronger than they had previously been led to believe. You will lead the US army fighting against Germany and Italy, and must combine deceptive strategies and eventually resort to nuclear strikes to achieve victory!

Console players: it’s just a matter of days before the same demo releases on XBOX LIVE and PlayStation Network!

R.U.S.E. launches on PC, XBOX 360 and PS3 on September 10th.
 
Igrao sinoć na box-u, zanimljiva je priča. Gameplay je jako dobro odrađen, pogotovo to zumiranje. Ali grafiku su unakazili za box stravično i opet se desi da secne ponekad. Skidam sad ovaj demo za PC čisto radi poređenja grafike. Ako je na PC-u kao na ovim gore shotovima onda je razlika nebo i zemlja naspram box-a.

video sam i ja da ima za Xbox, ali mi nekako protivprirodno da igram strategiju preko kontrolera...

nije mi tu desktop, a na laptopu integrisana grafika - pa nisam u stanju da probam.

R.U.S.E. is an unusual real-time strategy title that attempts to portray the fantasy of a general moving figures around a battlefield map as closely as possible. Outside of the fantastical Ruse abilities, the mechanics are simple. Flanking has no effect, logistics effectively don't exist, and each faction has only a few dozen total units. There is plenty of game here regardless – it's just not always fun.

The one thing that R.U.S.E. does unquestionably well is present a wide view of a multi-front battlefield. Players must maintain control of the roads between their money-generating supply depots and their headquarters while mounting raids or frontal assaults on their enemies. The smooth strategic zoom and easily accessible build menu make it headache-free. The classic RTS interplay between micromanaging battles, trying to stay on the right side of the unit counter paradigm, and controlling the map works well.

The tank-infantry-artillery-aircraft force composition you'd expect out of a WWII game makes up the backbone of battle, but the frequently deployed Ruse powers shake up the predictable combats. These can do everything from sending out fake units to cloaking your units under radio silence. Complementing your army building and movements with the perfect Ruse is a unique thrill. The fact that every player has access to the same Ruses and the same number of activations makes deploying and countering them a large part of any strategy.

Unfortunately, the only place this intriguing design has a place to shine is in multiplayer. The campaign is laughably awful, with a tepid story told through awkwardly acted cutscenes surrounding poorly scripted scenarios. The symmetrical skirmishes in online play are a far better fit for the bluff-intensive gameplay, and a wide variety of stat tracking and matchmaking services make it a destination well worth visiting. The AI in offline skirmishes is competent enough, but the psychological aspect of R.U.S.E.'s warfare works infinitely better against a human opponent.

A number of hiccups in the control scheme and unit AI keep the gameplay from being as smooth as I'd like, and the console versions suffer from constant texture draw-in and object pop-up when you're quickly flitting about the map – which is most of the time. I hope online play finds an audience, though, because it's a unique flavor that is sure to resonate with a fair number of gamers. I can't recommend R.U.S.E. without reservations, but RTS enthusiasts may find what they're looking for.
 
Meni se svidja igra, grafika nije nesto doduse, ali prica i cutscene su jako dobre i sam gameplay...
